Yukina looked out the window.

Her son,Itana had gone outside to the market.He had been a bit surprised that she was not going to come with him.But she knew it would be best if she didn't go with him.He wasn't her little boy anymore,but almost an adult.He would be fine by himself.Besides,the local girls were often glancing at him,but not approaching him becuse he was with his mother......

She smiled at the thought.Her son was definitely handsome,just like his father,Itachi....

That thought brought out the ache that was always present in the corner of her heart.

It was painful that her husband's life had been so short-lived..That he had never had the opporunity to hold their son in his arms,had never been able to watch him grow up...He had died without knowing that he was going to be a father......But of course she couldn't tell him when he had already sentenced himself to death...It would only have caused him more pain..

She came back to reality when she sensed a presence nearby,cutting off her train of thoughts.

It wasn't Itana.She sensed a different kind of chakra.The person wasn't being particularly careful.Maybe because they underestimated her.She was a ninja too,after all.

'ANBU?'She asked.

After a brief silence,there was a reply:'Yes.'

'I have no intention of resisting,so could we sit down?'

After a while,when they were seated and the ANBU was somewhat relaxed,well,as relaxed as an ANBU could be,Itana came in.His eyes immediately went to the masked man seated in the sofa.

'This man is an ANBU from the Hidden leaf,'She said hastily before Itana did something rash.

Itana relaxed,but she could tell he was confused.She was confused as well.Why would they suddenly have a visitor from the village after all this time?

After Itana sat down beside her,she said,'You never said why you came here.'

'You have been summoned to the Hidden leaf by the Seventh Hokage.'

That was several days ago.Now,Yukina and her son stood in front of the door to the Hokage's office.The ANBU had escorted them upto the door before disappearing.

Yukina built up her courage and knocked lightly on the door.Once,twice.

An unrecognizable male voice said,'Come in.'
