CHAPTER 1: INTO THEIR LIFE
CHAPTER 1: INTO THEIR LIFE
The alarm buzzed loudly as she sat up groaning looking at the digital clock showing, 6:30am and Monday.
She sighed hard "I hate Monday's!" said in distaste as she got up from her bed giving a wanting look on the bed of hers.
She rushed inside the bathroom and looked for her toothbrush. Brushing them, she took her bath and came out wearing her sandal color robe with a towel covering her wet hair.
She sat on in front of her dressing table as dried her taking her own time. A few minutes later, adorned her in usual yet formal office wear Kurti of black color climbed down her stairs to the kitchen directly.
She took the freshly sliced bread and put it on toaster and poured the orange juices on the two glasses and readied the table while frying the omelet.
As she placed the jug of water, she heard the clock tick 8:00am and footsteps of him, her father.
Father "Good Morning, Sanyukta!" greeted her in his stiff and formal tone with her, his daughter...His blooded daughter born to him.
Sanyukta sighed inwardly "Good morning dad!" greeted him back expecting the smile, the very smile he used to smile for her, her happiness, her encouragement, her support and her feel of protection on her as a shield to save her from anything in this world yet to come.
But, she knew she would never get that! Never, she lost her mother and brother in that accident but also her father with a difference that their physical appearance is not here but his appearance does.
As usual, the silence consumed the rest as the sound of spoon and forks clicking on the plate and putting it on the mouth continued.
Her father, Kishore Agarwal was a general manager in a reputed firm for the past 20 years. Once, he was the most fun-filled, cheerful, mischievous, hardworking, caring and the happiest person... a very person who was his daughter's savior, a super-hero and yet dangerous man to all those cunning teen boys who approached his daughter in a manner of dating or loving making their little family happiest and strongest ever.
But, an accident broke their little family, broke her father. The very accident took away her mother and brother leaving them to live in as corpse, a living dead soul.
From that day of accident, her father was secluded and isolated just like an island surrounded by sea water. He stopped interacting with all the human beings including her. He became the strict and stern man in his office just to make profits and helping the company to grow more and more leaving himself drown in them.
She missed him, miss him so much. But, she is at least happy that he is here with her.
He stood up with his plate and juice glass placing them in the basin washed them quietly.
Sanyukta observed his moment and said "I would do that dad!" said her usual statement that became her usual routine.
Kishore "No thanks!" said his usual reply and walked out of the kitchen.
Sanyukta dropped her head down in disappointment as her wish of getting him normal today was also went in vain.
She saw him getting his shoe from the rack and wearing them "I hope you remember we have to attend your cousin marriage day after tomorrow and sanctioned for leave from your office, if not arrange it!" said as he picked his office bag and rushed out of the home.
Sanyukta slumped her shoulder as her tears made their way "I miss you dad, I miss you so much! I have no one to share my pain. I feel alone with nobody beside me!" cried as her phone beeped in an alert of message.
She sighed and wiped her tears while checking the message 'meeting is proponed to 10:00am'.
Sanyukta "The day begins here!" said as she rushed out taking her bag and necessary files locking their two-storey house which was small yet cozy and comfortable in their peaceful neighborhood.
The helicopter blade span faster as it descended down steadily on the helipad.
The business suave of the year and young bachelor businessman held out his right leg then his left leg stepped out in his black designer suit.
The helicopter blades slowed down as he wore his shades with his right hand making the women reporter swoons over his styles.
The photos clicked of him as the cameras flashed on rapport and reporters jumped to get his attention so that he could answer them.
"Is it true your getting married Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat?"
"Is it Ms. Helen Sharma (his fling) that you're getting married?"
"Or, is it someone else? Is it true that she is your fiancée and going to be your wife?"
"We have also report that she is not the one whom you're going to marry but your brother's sister-in-law?"
"Is that Ishika Agarwal, the supermodel you're going to marry?"
All the question threw on him as he walked passed them with his bodyguard surrounding in circle not wanting any of the reporters or rivals attack him in any manner.
Randhir entered into the private elevator of the Helipad terrace "How in the hell did those reporters get here?" roared at his already praying assistant Aram Malhotra who was sweating like hell when he got a call in the last minute of his boss arrival that reporters entered the helipad breaking the rules and they couldn't do anything.
Aram cursed himself born on this world first.
Second, he cursed for applying and working in Randhir industries under the rude, temperamental but yet sometimes caring boss Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat.
Third, for not increasing the security around the building where the reporters entered and fourth, the fourth for not having them covered from asking these questions when he knew that his boss hates someone questioning and intruding in his personal life. And, last but not the least to let this happen just after his arrival in India just after coming back here after six years of living and settled in Singapore.
Aram "Sir...that...I...I..." stammered as he felt his throat go dry and vocals dying.
Randhir gritted his teeth "Next time this happens you better have your resignation letter ready and get used to work as a waiter or a road cleaner" yelled in anger.
Aram nodded his head more like goat ushering yes "Yes sir" said as he thought "Even he won't fire me or let me resign the job. Since either ways he will use his power from not letting me get job in any firm except as a waiter or road cleaner" said as he thought of his previous secretary who cheated him stealing the information and selling it to rivals.
Poor guy is working as a road cleaner for a living. Aram's mind imagining him cleaning the road with sweat dripping all over his green colored uniform, and jumped in fear hitting his head over the lift's wall.
"Aram" the name was screamed loudly as Aram rubbed his head form hitting and faced his boss angry face,
Aram "Sir...Why...did...you...scream?" asked.
Randhir "The lift door is opened since two minutes and you still lost over your dream world not letting me or yourself out of this damn left" yelled again.
Aram "So...Sorry sir... I...I" stopped earning his glare.
Randhir "Move" said loudly as he stepped out of the lift and walked out.
Aram trailed behind him and stopped abruptly as he saw his boss stand and look over the glass wall.
Aram "What is so amazing on the glass wall?" asked himself as he also looked at the direction.
Randhir stood still as he saw a woman sprinting from one place to other ordering no scratch asking them politely with her beautiful smile to do the work faster since the meeting is proponed.
Randhir "Who is she?" asked as he sank in her beauty making his smile grew wide for some reason.
Aram felt like jumping out of the window as he saw his boss smile, seriously smile looking at a girl just at his first ever visit in this branch and that too after the unwanted personal questionnaire of his personal life by the reporters.
Aram asked his friend and he looked up at the ceiling calling him Mr. God "What is your plan?" asked.
To be continued...
How is the start?
