The Blast At The End

The blizzard lasted four days and by the end of it, I was ready for a run. I hated confined spaces and Dom seemed to realize that as he tried to keep me busy with many, many things.

Even though he tried, I still paced the house and kept an eye on the weather network, relieved when the news reporter said that by tonight the blizzard would just be a light snow fall.

I was ready to go and had grabbed all of my friends, each of us staring that the tv with a growing crowd.

"Great news." The weather man said, his face cold from the winter air on the screen with a huge smile.
I smile and watched carefully, the camera zooming out to show a light snow fall.

"The blizzard is over and clean up will take place over the next few days. We have received about five feet of snow so for all those children, stay safe and make sure your parents know where you are at all time."
This was all the encouragement that was needed and members from my pack jump up and ran out of the room, heading to Lease's room and shifting to our wolf form before jumping out of the window and into the soft snow.

It was hard for me to run in it, but I didn't care, the pack and I ran around, tackling each other, and some of the wolves from the Forest Paw pack joined us.

We were all glad that the pups were asleep and that we could have our time to stretch our legs.

I started a game of tage, running from who ever was it and finding out that it was Lease, who tackled me from behind playfully.

I was about to chase after her when another wolf tackled me and I looked up to see the familiar wolf of Dom, his wolf bigger then mine to the point I could stand underneath him with out a problem. But I didn't care.

[Lease, you're still it, I am taking Amber some where.] I was about to protest but Lease's reply came quickly.

[Okay, make sure to create future alpha pups for the pack.] I rolled my eyes at her cheerful tone, feeling Dom get off me and lead me away from the house and towards the forest.

A few times I lost him because of how well his fur blended into the ice and snow, geting a sigh from his wolf maw as he flicks his tail at me

[Grab my tail, this way you won't loose me.]

[Okay.] I reply happily, nipping his tail gently and let him lead me through the forest.

I realized how my fur stood out, making it easy for some one to spot me and I frowned. I was to vulnerable with my fire like fur.

My worry soon ended when I was lead into a cave, Dom whirling around and moving behind me, his snout pressed against my slit as he licked it.

[What are you doing?] I asked, my body bending forward as I panted.

[I always wanted to make you howl with pleasure in wolf form] he states, mounting me. His length was bigger in this form and with my wolf being so much smaller then him, I was worried.

But he sliped in with ease, making me whimper from the slight pain.

[Sorry, but it'll feel better in no time.] With that he started plowing into me doggy style, his wolf going faster then I thought and my tongue lolling out of my mouth.

It was amazing but soon I was clentching around him and he was releasing his hot seeds into me.

[If we keep this up, I'll be having pups in no time.] I yawn as I snuggle into his warm fur, getting a loving lick from him.

[Well then, I'll keep at it till you pop a few out.] I gave him a look and got a wolfish grin back befor he nipped my mark, making me whimper with pleasure.

I could tell by the way it affected him and I wiggled my wolf booty in invitation, feeling him mount me again and thrusting away happily.

We spent another hour in the cave before we walked down the path to the house with him at my side, our flanks pressed together.

But something made me stop.
The wind was blowing towards us from the east and I sented the air, tasting it and burying my face into Dom's side instantly.

[Soulless, be prepared for a fight] I link the pack, taking a moment to get over the stench before we were racing back, going to help ready the house for the war.

The snow would not help out situation since the soulless's scent would be masked, the wolves I have been paid to train were not ready.

This was not a good time.

Quickly I made my way back into the window and straight to mine and Dom's room, shifting back to human and putting on my tracker gear. I made sure my weapons were in their right holster, sheath and pouches before heading out side and seeing everyone ready for war.

Some where in their human form, others in wolf.
I even caught Leo there, ready to fight, even if he looked like a scared pup.

I had the younger inexperienced wolves getting everyone up and into the underground safe house as well as guard them.

The sun was just coming out when I heard the first scream and I knew there were more soulless then what was said when this pack first requested our help.

But all that mattered was surviving.
I stayed neer the house, staying between the base of the house and the roof, killing what ever soulless I can.

[Lease, how many enimies are there?] I mind link the female tracker, hearing her tick off the numbers in her head.

[Sixty five alive, fifteen dead.] My friend's voice rings clear and I grimace. My friend was never wrong in sniffing out and counting the enimy.

We needed this done and fast.
Welps and screams sound all around me and I try to help as many of the wolves I could to take out the soulless, but their intent was to kill.

The reaking blood of the lost rogues and the metalic tang of the wolves who faught as my allies filled the air and covered the snow.

This was starting to be a loosing battle.

Many of my pack members were still going strong, but five of the Forest Paw were dead and twenty more were injured.

Two hours passed and more died around me from both sides, taking this as my que to take everything off and shift.

[Lease, how many?]

[Fourty five alive, thirty five dead.]
I growled. This was not what I had expected and the sneaky bastards had waited for when everyone was weakest.

I was pissed and I used this anger to fuel my fight as I raced to the nearest soulless. We faught for a few minutes, his wolf equalling my strength but not my speed and I had his head ripped off in the end, tossing it into his alli before taking her out.

Blood and body parts are in the air and the tearing of limbs, skin and fur could be heard with the screams and welps.

This was getting out of hand.

[Amberle, are you okay?]
Dom's voice rings threw my head and I couldn't help but sigh in relief. My mate was still okay.

[I'm fine, where are you?]

[By the forest, I found their leader.]

[On my way.]

I take off once finishing off the weak female who tried to tackle me while I was linking Dom, snapping her neck and tearing her head off.

My paws carry me past those dying as well as the dead and the gore, Dom's safe scent reaching me.

His fur was covered in blood and he was cornered by five wolves.
I growled. He was injured and looked like he was strugling and I sprinted, tackling a wolf mid air before she could pounce on Dom and snaping her neck.

One down, four to go.

Me and Dom got into action, taking turns to take down the weaker ones till the leader was left.

He growled at us and I growled back, Dom staying silent as his rage simmered, his flank pressed to mine.
We waisted no time in tag teaming the leader, one of us destracting him while the other striked.

It took us a while but he was finnaly slow enough for the final kill, me darting one last time to destract him while Dom clasped his jaw around his neck, snapping it and killing the leader.

We stayed there panting for a bit before I rushed to him, sniffing out his injuries.

[I'm fine.] He sounded tired and irritated by the attack and I nodded, nuzzling his neck before licking his cheek.

[I love you Ice.]

[I love you too Fire.]

We stayed close to each other as we made our way back to the pack house.

[All of them are dead.] Syde's voice rings clear in my head and I sigh, feeling Dom relax beside me.

[Good. Separate our dead from the soulless and burn them, have the snow removed. We don't want to scare the pups.] Dom takes controle and I give him a tired wolfish grin.
I needed a break.

[I'll be in our room, you can deal with the after math then join me for a shower.] I tell him before nuzzling his face and taking off, climbing up to the window and treading to the room me and Dom share. I quickly shift and close the door.

I just make it into the washroom before I had to rush to the toilet, the rotten blood and fur I had injested while killing the souless coming back up and filling the small bowl.

I had to flush it three times before I was done, leaving me dry heaving for breath, naked and sore.

I didn't want to move from the cold floor but I needed a shower.
Slowly I rase to my feet, the door opening and Dom's tired and bruised body walks in, taking a look at my state and rushing to my side to help me.

"For a strong wolf, you have a weak stomach." He jokes gently and I frown at him.

"I have a refined stomach. Anything that isn't food shouldn't be there." He laughs as he sets me against the wall, geting the shower started and helping me into the hot spray.

We showered and he told me that the cleaning was done, bodies were burned seperately and put into urns for their families from the Forest Paw pack and the soulless were burned in a heaping pile.

I was happy that our pack was only injured and I could bring them all home.

I was to tired to leave the room and Dom left, coming back with food and drinks that we both devoured before falling asleep.
