IAN POV

I still can't believe it, I'm pregnant with my ex-mate's pup and I've decided that I'm not gonna tell him about this.

"penny for your thoughts" Miley says.

"I was just thinking about what I'm gonna do"

"And?" Miley asks.

"I'm not going to tell him or he might try to take my child away from me"

"I'd never let that happen and neither would Chris" Miley says.

"I miss mom" I said as a tear falls down my face. "I could really use her help right now"

"I'm glad you said that" Miley says and smiles "you can come in now"

I then see the front door open and I gasp as I see my mom walk in.

"Mom" I get off the couch and run to her and we hugged "I've missed you"

"Me too" mom says as we still hug "Miley told me what happened and so I came right over"

"Where's dad?"

"He's back at the Pack" mom says. "I can't believe I'm gonna be a grandmother again" she squeals "boy or girl?"

"I don't know" I said "I won't know until I'm 4 months pregnant"

Just then the doors bust open and a warrior come in with a woman in pain.

"What happened?" Miley asks as she runs to them.

"I was doing patrol on our territory when I heard her screaming" he says "she's a rogue and she's pregnant and her water broke"

"Get her to the Pack doctor" Miley says.

"Yes, Luna" he says.

We then follow them to the doctor and the warrior tells her what happened and she got right to work.

We waited for hours in the waiting room. Until we saw doctor Reta come out as she takes off her gloves.

"How's the rogue?" Miley asks being next to Chris.

Yes, Chris is here with us.

Miley told him what happened through the mind-link and he came right over.

"I've got good news and bad news" Reta says. "Which one do you want to hear first?"

"What's the good news?" Chris asks.

"Well, the good news is that we help her deliver her babies" Reta says.

"Babies?" Mom says "as in, more than 1?"

"Yes" Reta says "she gave birth to 3 kids. 2 boys and 1 girl"

"What's the bad news?" I ask.

"She's dead" we gasp over this "after she gave birth to the third child. Her heart started to shut down. We tried everything we could, but sadly she didn't make it"

"Oh no" Miley says being sad "what's going to happen to the children?"

"They'll probably be put in an orphanage in the Pack" Chris says.

"Maybe we should take them" Miley says "you said you wanted more"

"Yes, but with our own pups, not someone else's pups" Chris says.

"I was able to get some information from her during each time she took a break from each birth" Reta says.

"And what is it?" Mom asks.

"She did have a mate, another rogue, but he died protecting her from an attack" Reta says "she also said that she was in a pack, but when she found out that her mate was a rogue. Her Alpha made her choose either the mate or the Pack"

"They're not supposed to do that" Chris says "why did the Alpha make her choose?"

"Her mate refused to join the Pack and so she chose her mate and they left together" Reta says.

"Oh my" mom says.

"Where are the babies now?" I ask.

"Follow me" Reta says and we follow her to a room "here they are"

We then look down and we saw 3 babies 2 boys wrapped in blue blankets and 1 girl wrapped in a pink blanket.

"They're so cute" mom says.

Without thinking I pick one of the boys up and hold it.

He looks at me and grabs my finger with his tiny hand and giggles at me being happy.

I smile at him and rub my thumb on his little hand.

"Let's make them ours" my wolf says.

"I haven't heard from you since the rejection" I said in the mind-link "and why?"

You see my wolf is a grey and white wolf and his name is Gray.

I know, but I didn't pick the name he came with it.

"These pups need a parent and we have nothing but free time" Gray says.

"But we already have a pup on the way"

"I know, but look at them" I look at them as I put the boy down "they need us and if you don't take them I won't let you shift to give birth the easy way and you'll have to do the hard way in human form" Gray says.

I sigh in defeat "fine, you win"

"Who wins?" Chris asks.

"My wolf"

"What did he win?" Miley asks.

"He wants the pups" they gasp.

"Why?" They ask.

"He doesn't want them to be abandoned like we were"

"Are you sure about this?" Reta asks "you'll have 4 kids"

"Start filling paperwork"

"As you wish" Reta says and leaves.

"Are you sure honey?" Mom asks.

"Yes"

"Then we better get started on more baby stuff and cribs" Miley says.

"And a bigger room for the 3 more kids coming" Chris says.

"Let's get started"

Before we left Reta said that the babies would need to stay here for a week to check them out and then they could leave with me.

And she said I needed names for them for their records.

I looked at them and I came up with names.

"The girl will be called Dolly and the boys will be called Derek and Drake"
