Meanwhile at the vault, Grim is freaked out by the sudden appearance of the magic carpet while he was forging some riches.

"That carpet is moving on its own! Is it some kind of possessed carpet!?" Grim shrieks. Soon Kalim and Glory scampers to where Grim yelps and spotted the flying carpet.

"Aah! You've found it!" Glory chirps smiling in relief.

"Oh, so that's where you were." Kalim said as he and Glory saunter to the flying carpet where he pats the carpet gently.

"Why do you never stay rolled up where you're suppose to?" Kalim ask curiously as it bounce happily. Unexpectedly, the flying carpet float towards Glory as it caught her off guard when it wraps itself around her and nuzzles her cheeks.

"Whoa! Hahaha! Jeez, that tickles!" Glory yelps giggling at the affectionate carpet making Kalim chuckle.

"Ahaha! Seems like it likes you!" Kalim remarks.

"Hehehe. Well, you're not wrong there." Glory agrees while giggling from the lovable flying carpet cuddling against her cheek.

"What the hell is that thing!?" Grim shrieks.

"This is a legendary treasure from the Land of Hot Sands, the magic carpet!" Kalim informs.

"Wow! I'd seen this from a movie, but this is the first time I've seen one!" Glory chirps while giggling from the affectionate flying carpet with Kalim chuckling at her.

"Yup. This guy is a replica of the flying carpet once used by the sultan that the sorcerer of the sand served. It's been in my family for generations." Kalim explains making the carpet nod while cuddling Glory.

"Flying...So can you ride this like a broom?" Grim ask curiously and he firmly nods.

"Yup. You'll get it faster if we go for a ride. The sun is almost down so we can enjoy the sights under the night sky! So hurry, get on get on!" Kalim insists as the carpet floats off of Glory and lays flat for the trio where Kalim hops on to the carpet.

"Come on, don't be shy! It'll be fun!" He encourages them with a perky smile.

"Eeh? We're not gonna fall?" Grim ask skeptically with Glory silently gulping when suggesting to fly on the carpet.

"Yeah I'm nervous of how it works, but I'm kinda of curious about it as well." Glory mutters feeling nervous yet excited about riding a flying carpet, but Kalim extend his hand to her.

"You'll be fine, trust me." He reassures her with a bright and sweet smile. Glory blink and tilts her head a little.

I never ride a flying carpet before, but...with Kalim I'll be fine. Hell, I always wonder about what it's like to fly in a magic carpet.

Glory thought as she crept a small smile and glance back at Kalim with light nod.

"Alright." She replies as Glory hops on to the carpet sitting behind Kalim.

"Just hang on tight, Glory-chan." He reassures her once more and she nods and wraps her arms around Kalim. Then he turns to the entrance and grabs the top of the carpet.

"And we're off!!" He cheers as Kalim whips the carpet and they all swoop upwards with Grim and Glory shrieked. As soon as they flight from the dorm, Kalim spins his head to Glory.

"Heheh. You can open your eyes now." Kalim assures her and she slowly opens one eye before widen her eyes to find themselves soaring through the night sky.

"Whoooaaaa!!! We're really flying! I really shouldn't look down! This dorm is already tiny!" Grim shrills while clinging on to her shoulder.

"Amazing...." Glory mutters awed by the beauty of the night sky where she stares at the full moon.

"Above the clouds is a different world, right?" Kalim ask with a grin. Mesmerized by the night skies, Glory smiled gently and nods.

"No pun intended, but it's definitely like a whole new world." Glory compliments making him chuckle.

"Ah ha ha, like it?" Kalim ask merrily.

"It's the best!" Grim cheers enjoying her cool breeze hitting his fur.

"And the best view to take pics!" Glory chirps as she brought out her phone and snap pictures of the moon beaming at them surrounded by the gorgeous night sky. Once she's done, Glory takes a good look at her photo and giggles.

"Perfect!" Glory cheers. Kalim peers next to her to take a good look at the photo she took.

"Sweet! Nice shot! It looks pretty!" Kalim compliments and Glory giggles.

"Thanks. I love taking photos. Photography is one of my passions. Not because of taking photos, but more like capturing and cherishing memories from the photos and gets me to be creative and productive to practice patience and focus." Glory explains.

"Hehe I don't know what that means, but that's really cool!" Kalim compliments. Then he turns back to the sky.

"Flying free in the sky is wonderful. All your worries just seem to drift away. Jamil is always telling me I don't care enough, though. I wish he could live more freely..." Kalim mutters. Glory widen her brows and blink at him.

"Have you ever consider telling Jamil to take a break?" Glory ask curiously as Kalim slightly tilts his head looking puzzled.

"I'm not sure...I can't tell cuz he looks pretty calm and knows what he's doing, so I couldn't even tell if he's stressed or not..." Kalim said while tilting his head. Glory curls her brows when he said that.

"Is there a time when he gets exhausted?" Glory ask curiously.

"Aah yeah, but acted like he's fine with it though. I tried asking him if he's okay, but he said 'I'm fine'." Kalim told her making Glory to let out a soft hum and tilt her head a bit.

Acts like he's fine with it? Hmm...that's something that a person who is stressed would say. Hell, working as a servant sounds pretty draining to be honest. I wonder how Cassandra is doing over there?

Glory thought curiously, but soon Grim shrieks interrupting her thought process.

"Ffgna! There's a bird I've never seen flying over that river!" Grim shouts.

"Oh, you're right! Let's go check it out! Hang on to me, Glory-chan!" Kalim shouts.

"Right!" Glory complies as she holds him tight where they all glide their way to see a bird.

Meanwhile at the lounge, Cassandra and the group were left alone where it's a good time for them to discuss about the situation.

"Ok, so let me get this straight. You need to tell us that all of us automatically complied to stay at this dorm because viper guy hypnotized us? And that you guys are here at the Scarabia dorm cuz young good-looking viper guy wants to rub garbage on his reputation?" Eugene guesses curling his brows at Cassandra.

"Exactly what I predicted to happened if you weren't so reckless." Vivien bluntly remarks.

"If only if you tell us sooner!" He retorts causing a tick mark to throb from her head.

"I did, yet you insisted on marching your way to the dorm and confront them with brute forces without a plan first." She irritably explains. Cassandra groans and pinch her temple.

"Yes, that what I was about to tell you, but it's too late to turn back. Sides, Glo and I were in the middle of a plan to stop Jamil from overthrowing Kalim, but why did you bother bringing them to the dorm, Vivi?" Cassandra ask looking exasperated.

"They were worried about you guys. Why wouldn't I tell them? Besides, I can foresee the future a minute ago where Kalim is switched from being hypnotized tonight and all of us will be trapped here, so I went out there and told them about your situation. I tried to reassure them that you guys can handle this, but they both insisted on arriving at Scarabia immediately." Vivien explains.

"Ugh, great. Well this is a total bogus day. I was going to plan on talking Jamil privately, but noooo you just have to tell me and said that all of us are going to be hostages in this dorm." Cassandra sarcastically snarks yet this freaks the couple out including Pascal and Owl.

"Wait what!?" Rapunzel shrieks with Pascal croaking in fear.

"What!? All of us are gonna be trapped here for the rest of the holiday!? Oh heck no! Heck to the Maximus's horseshoe NO! We gotta figure out how to put a stop to Viper guy's plan!" Eugene rants.

"That's the whole point of why we're here and since you guys got yourselves into this mess too, we have might as well work together to thwart his plans." Cassandra informs.

"She's right. We turn back now, we have to put an end on Jamil's plans before things are going to get out of hand." Rapunzel reassures and turns to Vivien.

"You said their dorm leader is taking Grim and Glory on a tour right? It's getting late. Where are they?" She ask curiously as Vivien's eyes glow blue once more before blinking back to her emerald eyes.

"From what I've seen, Grim and Moonchild are on a magical carpet ride with Kalim right now." She informs with pure zen causing Pascal to croak in shock and drops his jaw to the table.

"What!? Flying carpet!?" Rapunzel shrieks.

"They really have some pretty interesting stuff in this campus...." Cassandra mumbles with a sweatdrop crept from her head.

"More importantly, how did Glory get away with plotting a plan without being hypnotized by him?" Eugene ask curiously looking puzzled making the lake goddess smirk wisely at the captain.

"That's because I gave her little souvenir for the holidays during her time here in Scarabia. And it isn't just your ordinary gift that you've seen or heard of, Fitzherbert." Vivien implies with a small sly smirk.

"Huh?" Rapunzel looked baffled when she said that.

"I'm sorry what?" Eugene ask still looking puzzled.

"What!? That was you that gave her those conceal lenses!?" Cassandra shrieks looking shocked when the revelation is revealed by the wise lake goddess and she nods at her with a small gentle smile.

"Indeed, Moonstone." Vivien calmly replies.

"Ok can someone explain to me what's happening cuz me and Rapunzel are lost here." Eugene commands looking puzzled

"And what are conceal lenses?" Rapunzel ask curiously as Cassandra sighs and turns to the royal couple.

"Glory was using those weird contact lenses that make her immune to his hypnotism." Cassandra explains shocking them.

"Given by me, accordingly." Vivien chimes causing them to finally get it and nod.

"Aaah that explains it." Rapunzel understood and Pascal nods with her.

"Welp, that makes sense, but another thing. Why is this viper guy trying to tarnished that dorm head's reputation anyway? What the heck did that guy do to him?" Eugene bluntly ask.

"Because he believes he can be a better dorm leader than Kalim." Iman told them as the group whip their heads to see the dirty blonde haired Scarabia student who is carrying a tray of drinks.

"You've been listening to our conversation have you?" Cassandra ask curling her brows skeptically as he saunters to the group.

"I was coming back to the lounge with drinks as ordered by Jamil, but hearing you guys talk about your plan mask me want to tune in." Iman said as he puts the tray to the floor and sat next to the group.

"Whoa whoa whoa, you want in?" Eugene ask dubiously.

"Well according to what I seen in the future recently, Iman here magically sends a letter to Moonchild's room for help. He asked her to help her to save his dorm and Desert King from the calculative plans of the Snake child. And here we are sitting at the Scarabia lounge coming up with a strategy, but first I would I like to know more about the relationship between the whimsical, cheerful, but naive desert king and his slithering servant of his." Vivien informs as she turns to Iman with a gentle smile.

"Won't you kindly tell me, about that young man?" Vivien politely ask stunning the group as they shift their gazes at Iman, whom he firmly nods without question.

"Certainly." He firmly complies and soon their plans to thwart Jamil is just the beginning.
