Hours have passed when it's time for Glory and Grim to leave Heartslabyul for Magic History. After they left, they head straight to Magic History where when Trein began lecturing about magic. Glory was writing down notes on her notebook while Grim was getting bored to the point when he falls asleep, but Trein caught him right handed and zaps him with his magic to wake him up. A few lectures later, Trein assigns them to do a report. Two hours later, the class was over where everyone got out of their seats and give their reports to Trein.

"Hmm. Very original writing you got there on your report, Corbett. Well done." He compliments much to her elation and she bows her head.

"Thank you Mr. Trein." Glory thank him and he nods his head to her. Soon everyone in the class starts muttering about her.

"Jeez, she did good at the report!" The Ignihyde student whispers.

"Heh that's Gothel's back for ya." The Scarabia student snickers.

"No doubt. She'll be the next Gothel for sure." The Pomefiore student assumes making a red vein pop from her forehead.

"Really?" Glory mutter irritated from the petty whispers from behind.

"The three of you in the back, quiet!" Trein chides making the three students flinch.

"Eep! Sorry sir!" They complied much to Glory's elation as she giggles softly while smirking.

"Jackasses." Glory snickers. Then Trein turns to Grim.

"Grim, I hope you learn sleeping in my class will cause consequences in the near future so please keep that in mind." He sternly reminds him.

"Yeah yeah, I got it." Grim grumbles. Trein buffs and turns to the students.

"Remember everyone to study for the upcoming exam. I don't want you all to get zeros on your scores." Trein reminds them.

"Hai." They all complied and left. Right after magic history ended, Glory and Grim strolls through the halls where she is sauntering her way to the infirmary with Grim sighing out of boredom. In addition to that, students are babbling about Glory.

"Eek! It's Gothel's blood!"

"Run away!"

"Stay as far away as possible!"

"She'll lock you in a tower!"

"Or stab you just like how the witch stabbed the thief!"

Had enough with their whispers, Glory stops her tracks and spins her head to the obnoxious students with a blank look causing them to flinch when she made direct eye contract with them.

"Okay first of all, all of you do realized that I'm living in an abandoned dorm right? Second of all, I will not be the next Gothel because as I stated before, me and Gothel are two different people so get it through your thick skulls, got it? I don't want to hear any bullsh#t from neither of you guys, Is that clear?" Glory straight up informs them sternly with an irked frown.

"Aah! Yes ma'am! We're very sorry!" They all apologizes and fled away making her sigh and walk off with an annoyed look on her face.

"Damn. I can't with these idiots. Haven't they learn how it's not polite to judge people by their looks? Tch so annoying." Glory grumbles while strolling through the halls, but soon paused when she felt a presence lurking behind her and shifts her grey eyes.

Vivi said the twins will be lurking somewhere in the halls...

Glory tonight as she furrows her brows and slowly analyzed her surroundings shifting her grey orbs left to right until she caught a shadow of tall men from the far right corner of the halls before creeping back. Alarmed, Glory quickly storms off as fast as she can while glancing behind to see if the twins are following her.

Ugh why in a time like this?

Glory though while scurrying through the halls but soon heard Grim sighing from her shoulder.

"Jeez. This sucks. First I got zapped, then I have to be babysit by that old midget at the infirmary?" Grim whines clinging on to Glory's shoulders.

"It's your fault for falling asleep during Trein's lesson, Grim. If you haven't, then you wouldn't been shocked." Glory points out making him huff.

"Whatever." Grim scoffs with Glory rolling her eyes at his pout.

"Come on Grim. Let's drop you off to Merlin's place." Glory reassures.

"Ughhh why do I have to stay in the infirmary? I can go out there on my own!" Grim complains.

"And let you cause mayhem that causes me to get a scolding from the headmaster himself? I don't think so." Glory retorts.

"Besides, this girl has photography club today and I must be there on time. Now let's roll." Glory informs.

"Ughhh." Grim groans slumping his whole body to her shoulder with a pout. Glory rolls her eyes and shifts her gaze behind where the two shadowy perk from the left before peering back again.

Ok once I dropped Grim off to the infirmary. I have to prepare myself to face those shifty twins because this is getting ridiculous!

Glory thought while scampering through the halls dreading with fear deep down.

Meanwhile at the infirmary, Merlin is at his desk writing something on his journal.

"Now let's see. The reason I ship Sundrop and Rosehearts is because not only how cute they are, but how they tend to help and care for one another. But I also seem to ship her with Leona because for some reason, I found their polar opposites clashing together adorable and I just love to see Leona getting flustered seeing how much of a tsundere he is. Actually wait-."

"Merlin!" Glory shouts as she slides the door open.

"Dah!" The tiny wizard shrieks and drops his pencil with his train of though getting interrupted by his student when Glory arrives at the infirmary while Grim is clinging on to her shoulder. Merlin quickly slams his notebook shut and puts it away into his desk as he turns to Glory and Grim clearing his throat and smiled awkwardly.

"H-Hello Sundrop. How are your classes going?" He ask curiously.

"Do we really want to know what you've been doing over there?" Glory ask blankly.

"Sounds suspicious." Grim snarks with a blank look.

"I'm doing work at the moment right now, but why are you here?" Merlin ask curiously.

"I'm dropping Grim cuz I'm in photography club." Glory told him.

"Aah I almost forgot about that. Fret not Sundrop, I'll be taking that grey furry creature now." He said.

"Sure." Glory replies as she lifts him off of her shoulder.

"Hey! I am the Great Grim! Not a furry creature!" Grim shouts.

"You're also a pompous little runt who couldn't even catch a break of shutting your mouth." Merlin snarks offending the grey creature.

"Wha? How dare you?! I can't speak to me like that!" Grim whines.

"Actually my dear grey little creature, I do have to right to speak because I will not take any crap from anyone who is an obnoxious nincompoop with an arrogant attitude that is just as bad than Kingscholar himself." Merlin retorts.

"Why you!- Mmph!" Grim was soon gagged with duct tape by Merlin as he flashes a smile.

"Now you head off Sundrop. I got this under the bag." Merlin reassures and she nods.

"Thanks Merlin. See ya Grim! I'll pick you up after club is over." Glory said as she shuts the door close and heads off to photography club. While on our way to photography club, she felt the same presence from a minute ago when she heard footsteps from behind. Aware of their tracks, a plan has popped from her brain when Glory pretends to act naive while strolling her way to the other side of the hall with the twins following her with smirks. With no time, Glory pulls out a small bag of conceal drops given by Vivien last night and rummages through the bag.

"Hope this works...." Glory mutters as she pulls one drop and place it in her mouth swallowing it a whole. Suddenly, her whole body blends into the wall.

Holy cow! That works!

Glory thought shocked by the affect of the conceal drop. Soon she heard footsteps approaching her.

Sh#t they're here! I gotta stay quiet!

Glory thought as she stood very still keeping her eyes shut watching the twins peering from the corner but widen their eyes when they found nothing.

"Aah boo! She's not here." Floyd pouts.

"Hmm strange..." Jade mutters tilting his head slightly pondering about plan b before turning to his twin brother.

"I suggest we should split up. I'll go to the left, you go to the right." Jade suggests.

"Hai~." Floyd complied with a giddy smile as both of them depart ways while Glory watches them stroll their ways until they're completely gone. Once the coast is clear, Glory let's out a sigh and opens her eyes.

"Thank god Vivi gave me the drops last night! Welp, better get a move on or the twins will come back. I still got ten minutes before the affect wears off and I'm hoping that I won't run into Azul later today." Glory mutters as she made her move scooting to the right against the wall while on her way to the photography club.

An hour later after snooping and scooting around the halls while avoiding twins and probably Azul, Glory eventually made to the photography club without getting caught by the Octavinelle boys with the conceal drop affect wearing off as well.

During photography club, the president told everyone that they'll be taking pics at the greenhouse much to her elation since she's a huge fan of plants. Once everyone is out to the greenhouse, everyone went separate ways to take pics of different plants while Glory roams around the field of plants admiring the beautiful scenery of the garden.

"Hmm...whoever grew these plants did a great job at taking care of them." Glory remarks with a smile. While strolling around the garden admiring the garden, Glory pause when she spotted a white flower straight ahead. With her curiosity peeking through, Glory rushes towards the flower and gasps when she recognizes the white flower above the bushes.

"OMG yarrows! One of my favorite flowers!" Glory glees as she grabs her camera and takes a picture of it. Afterwards, she giggles and smiles widely admiring the yarrow flowers.

"Jeez they even look beautiful as I remembered from last year." Glory comments with her eyes beaming with adoration, but died down when she notices something moving. Glory then froze.

I saw something moving....as I could remember daises and sunflowers are the main places that they hunt which means....

As soon as it watches go on top, Glory's whole body turn pale when she sees a goldenrod crab spider right before her where its eight eyes stare back at her.

Meanwhile at the nearby garden, Leona was enjoying his nap under the tree until...

"YAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

His eyes soon widen when he hears a shriek making him groan.

For god's sake...

Leona thought furrowing his brows from waking up so early as he slowly rises up from the ground and turns to where the yelling is coming at until he spotted Glory shaking against the tree with a frighten look on her face.

What the-?

Leona gets up from the ground and strolls over to where Glory is until he senses her fear from two feet away who is quivering and shutting her eyes.

"So gross...so many legs...ughhh!" Glory groans while shaking like a leaf. Detecting her fear while hearing her shudder, Leona shifts his eyes down to see a spider crawling over the camera.

Couldn't believe what he's seeing, Leona let's out a sigh and ruffles his hair.

I can't believe this...

Leona thought as he watches the spider crawling off of the camera and attempts to crawls towards him, but the lion steps on the spider without a thought and squishes against the hard concrete until it can't move anymore.

Once its dead, Leona picks up the camera and strolls over her as he kneels down to her level.

"Oi, calm down. I rid of it." Leona reassures. Glory opens her eyes and lifts her head when she became surprise to see Leona.

"Uh! Leona. W-Why are you here?..." She stutters while cowering. Leona huffs and folds his arms.

"I was taking a nap until SOMEONE interrupted my sleep." Leona told her. Glory widens her eyes and averts her eyes feeling guilty for waking him up for the second time. She then tucks her raven locks under her left ear and turns back to the lion.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you were there. I was taking pictures of plants at the greenhouse while admiring the gardens." Glory explains.

"Pics?" Leona asks curiously curling his brow and she nods.

"Mhm. I'm in the photography club, I was taking pics of the pants in the greenhouse, but I got distracted a bit cuz of the plants." Glory explains with Leona nodding at her. Though he looked uninterested, he's actually listening to her. Then memories start swirling around in his mind when he looks back at the Magift incident yesterday where Glory was giving him comforting words before healing him with her unique magic.

"You've been holding back this whole time haven't you? Conquered by resentment and jealousy. It must been rough, I don't blame you cause when you're in your darkest hour, all of the light just fades away."

Glory expresses causing Leona to blink his eyes twice by her words. Glory grins sweetly and strokes his cheeks gently. 

"...But when you're like a single flower, those colors of yours have turned to shades of gray. Well hang on and be strong because I will be the one who will guide you back to the light."

She reassures.

Then it was in the halls after the Magift Tournament.

"You're not bad as I thought. You seem to be relaxed and a kind person. Even though he can be a pain in the ass most of the times, but I don't really mind. Maybe I could see more of that softer side of yours."

Glory assures while giggling softly.

While reminiscing from yesterday, Leona stares at her with a blasé look before letting out a huff.

These guys are idiots. How is she the next Gothel? She's not even like her.

Leona ponders whole scratching his head before letting out a sigh and sat next to her.

"...How's everything?" He asked curiously. Glory blinks her eyes twice before replying.

"It's fine...I'm still trying to get use to this whole 'future queen of Twisted Wonderland' role, but I'm training as hard as I could." Glory informs with Leona nodding his head. Glory then turns to him.

"How about you Leona? How are you feeling?" Glory asks curiously. Leona laid silently as he reminisces his Overblot state last week before replying.

"I'm...fine..." He mumbled, grimacing at the overblot incident before continuing.

"But nothing has changed really. Bunch of punks are loud as always. Ruggie is looking after them and that fresh baby wolf is still a hardhead as ever." Leona told her making her giggle.

"Sounds like Jack is working hard to be like you." Glory remarks making him scoff.

"Damn puppy doesn't know when to shut up and tends to stick his neck out when I'm around. Saying that he adores me while watching me play." Leona grumbles.

"He looks up to you." Glory restated while smiling, but the lion once again snorts.

"It's annoying, but...he is cheeky not gonna lie." Leona admits.

"The first time I met him, he was pretty stubborn...Don't know much about him, but I don't see him associating with anyone in my dorm except you guys." Leona stated. Glory grins a bit.

"Even though he won't admit it, but I don't mind him. He seems to be a nice guy to hang out with." Glory stated with a small grin. This makes Leona chuckle a bit and curls his brows at her.

"For once, you're definitely not wrong about that. Ruggie was pestering him last night about being buddy-buddy with you and the other brats which he denied obviously." Leona points out.

"Pfft. That's Jack right there." Glory giggles and Leona rolls his eyes.

"He maybe a wolf from the outside, but he's actually a puppy in the inside as well." Leona remarks making both of them chuckle a little.

"Well...he is lovable after all despite being a pain at times." Glory remarks with Leona nodding subtly. Soon he lets out a yawn when he lays his head on her shoulder stunning the ravenette.

"Life's not fair isn't it?..." Leona mumbles while lying his head on her shoulder. Glory stares at him for a minute before glancing at the sky.

"...We all lived in a complicated and confusing world." Glory utters making Leona spins his head glancing at her.

"I don't blame you. It sucks to live in a world filled with obstacles and harsh realities." She said as Glory reminisced the vision she saw through her unique magic when she saw Leona's past as the ravenette grips the grass with her hands.

"...It must've been rough. People misjudge you for who you are, treated like you're in second place really sucks." Glory said making the lion huff subtly.

"I get that every time." Leona retorts shrugging his shoulders. Glory sulks her head a little.

"I know...." She muttered as Glory leans against the tree with a sullen look.

"You can be a pain most of the times, but...you actually have potential." Glory admits making Leona blink his eyes and subtly spins his head back to the ravenette.

"...Huh?" He stared at the ravenette blankly and the lion watches the ravenette's contorts into a crestfallen expression.

"You do have a point about life isn't fair. Life is complex and harsh. People pushed you around like you're nothing, judging you without giving you a chance, deeming you as weak, fighting your way to get where you are. It's an uphill battle." Glory stated, reminiscing back her rough childhood, preadolescence, and adolescence as she clenched her fists against her knees, biting her lower lip.

"Life isn't meant to be easy...it was meant to be lived. Sometimes happy, other times rough..."

Then Glory turns her head with a warm smile.

"But every up and down, you learn lessons, mistakes, makes you stronger." She stated before closed her eyes while smiling gently at him.

"We maybe flawed, but that's what made us human. And you, Leona, are a strong and smart individual." She reassured making Leona blink his eyes when she said that. Leona won't deny, this is the first time a girl would say something genuinely nice to him and...it feels nice.

"If ever you feel exhausted or having a bad day, you could always come to me. We could talk or we could take naps. Whatever you like, but if feel like you want more space, then that's fine too. Because no matter what happens..."

Glory then scoots closer to Leona with a gentle smile and lays her head on his shoulder.

"...You'll always be the thoughtful and extremely formidable king in my eyes." Glory reassures making Leona sat silently after she said that to him. He won't deny, hearing her comforting him touched his heart as he felt genuine warmth around this otherworldly beautiful girl.

Thoughtful and formidable...

Leona thought. Touched by her genuine kindness and honesty, the lion wraps an arm around her waist surprising Glory as she blinks twice.

"Eh? Leo-"

"Oi, sing something for me." Leona suggests shocking Glory.

"You mean here?" Glory ask curiously.

"Did I stutter? Do it." Leona commands with an irked look making her flinch but nods.

"Sure...." Glory complies as she clears her throat before she starts humming to the tune.

She harmonizes while humming the tempo.

As she marvels the final chorus, she heard snoring next to her when Glory spins her head to see Leona sleeping on her shoulder with a warm smile. Glory smiles softly and glance down at his arm that is wrapped around her waist.

Welp, guess I'm gonna be here for a while....

Glory thought as she shrugs her shoulders with a smile.

Aah well, guess I'll be sleeping as well. Do need some rest anyway.

Glory ponders as she lays her head gently to his head nuzzling into his mane with his ear twitches from the soft nuzzle making her giggle silently before falling asleep with Leona.

As she falls asleep, Leona kept smiling warmly while holding his sweet lioness in his arm underneath the tree.

Not bad...not bad at all, Lioness.

Leona thought as he fell into a deep slumber while sleeping besides his lioness under the tree where the light shines through his bleak world. All because of this one girl that enters his life and that girl happens to be Gloriane Corbett. A name that will engrave his mind and soul forever as he enjoys his heartwarming moment with the lioness sleeping besides him.
