Meanwhile at the infirmary, Merlin was watching this whole scene unfold in front of him from his crystal ball where Glory and her friends are fighting Jack Howl from Savanaclaw.

"My my Sundrop, what have you gotten yourself into?" Merlin mutters while shaking his head as he takes a sip of his oolong tea.

" *sighs* Aah well. Let's see how this turns out." Merlin sighs as he kept his eyes glued to his crystal ball while holding on to his tea.

"Welp at least she figures who the culprit is, well done my child." He praises, but soon became puzzled for a minute.

But still, I can't ignore the back of my head...how did Sundrop know who the real culprit is? Mmm....

Merlin thought while pondering curiously but soon his thoughts cut off when he heard a loud scream from his ball. Merlin sighs.

"Guess that'll have to wait, I gotta look out for my student and her comrades." Merlin says as he goes back to his crystal ball watching the fight between Glory, her friends, and Jack.

Meanwhile at the courtyard, Team Glory is facing off Jack. However Grim and Ace weren't doing so good since they were knocked out so easily. Then Jack throws the first punch at Deuce while the bluenette does the same. As both men throw their fists each other clashing to theirs, they backed away and pant.

"Y-You definitely know what you're doing with your punches..." Jack panted.

"You too...Huff, you're pretty good..." Deuce pants.

"Raaaaaaah!"

Soon Glory runs behind him and Jack notices and quickly blocks her punch. Jack then throws another punch, but Glory dodges his punch by leaning to the right. Then she did a quick jab at the chin.

"Ack!" He winces and holds his chin as before throwing another punch again, but this time throws a right hook across the face. After that, she throws a counter punch where Glory makes a left jab to his chest, throwing a right straight punch to the head, and finally, performs a bolo punch across the face again, but Jack was quick to block the final attack. While the two pant heavily from punching, Jack takes a step back while panting before cracking a impressive smile.

"You got some interesting moves you got." He compliments making her grin.

"I've been picked on by other kids back in elementary but I was able get back up again thanks to parents; especially my dad, who taught me how to box and stand up for myself. Plus, I've been doing combat training and jogging every morning." Glory explains.

"You seem to be an independent and confident woman, I respect that." Jack praises making her giggle.

"Thanks, you did pretty good at blocking my bolo punch." Glory points out.

"Heh a man always have to keep his feet up." Jack remarks.

"Your punch hit me right in the heart..." Grim pants.

"Huuugh, Huff...haven't you all gotten just a little too caught up in this? I don't care about being picked...I'm done..." Ace groans.

"Then how about we take break from this combat battle?" Glory suggests.

"...Alright. My conscience is clear. I'll tell you everything." Jack informs.

"How clear is your conscience exactly?" Ace ask.

"I'm crossing the line here. I'm about to betray my dorm. But I can't put up with this anymore!!" He bellows.

"A fight is about testing how far you can go by challenging tough opponents. I've put myself through the wringer to see how far I can go in this tournament. Cowardly tricks makes me nauseous! There's no meaning in victory like that!" He rants stunning Glory.

"Jack..." She mutters while listening to his rant.

"I wanted to use my own power to claim victory at the top!" Jack explains with his eyes fuming with rage.

"Ah, this guy's a pain in the ass." Ace remarks.

"So it's not because you can't forgive injustice. It's all for yourself, that's why you're so driven." Glory acknowledges.

"I get you! I really get it!! That feeling!" Deuce agrees with a grin.

"We've got our own pain in the ass." Grim groans. Jack then sighs and cross his arms.

"..Ruggie's unique magic is...something that makes another person move exactly like him." He told them.

"Do you know the name of his unique magic?" Glory ask curiously.

"Not that I remembered, but I do know how his magic works. He uses it to cause accidents he made people move in ways that would only look like they weren't being careful." Jack explains.

"Yup. That's the one." Glory said agreeing with him a hundred percent.

"I see. So that's why he made Grim copy him in the cafeteria to keep it a secret." Ace understood.

"Even Glory knew it was him." Deuce points out.

"Crap! Reminding me makes me angry all over again! Don't underestimate the strength of a grudge over food!" Grim rants.

"But just a second. If he did something to make someone fall down stairs, wouldn't that look pretty suspicious?" Deuce ask curiously.

"Ruggie isn't flying solo creating these accidents. I bet most of Savanaclaw is in on it." Jack guessed.

"Ffgna!?" Grim shrills.

"Hmm makes sense. From what I saw, Savanaclaw is quite the mischievous bunch." Glory remarks.

"And rowdy too, don't forget that. Like you said before, Ruggie would stand out if he was acting weird by himself. So the other residents act like a wall for him and provide cover." He explains.

So that's why Crowley hasn't caught Ruggie from the start....

Glory ponders.

"The dorm is involved too....Why would they?" Deuce mutters.

"Hmm. How well your team does in the magical shift tournament can have a big impact on your future, right. So I can't said I don't understand their feelings." Ace bluntly remarks, but that did not suit with Jack as he lets out a growl causing him to flinch and back away.

"Not helping, Ace." Glory plainly snarks while giving him with blank look.

"Wah, scary. Don't bare your fangs at me. I'm kidding." Ace assures.

"Hmph! The now comes before the future. There's no point if you don't show what you can do now. And I can't stand the dorm head, Leona Kingscholar. That guy is amazing but he never gives it his all.

"That's true, he was a really though opponent even though he's always lazing around." Grim points out.

"Right!? He has so much natural talent so why doesn't he polish it!? I hate his type the most." Jack rants and hearing him rant reminds Glory of how she saw a vision from the falls of Jack's confrontation with Leona and Ruggie.

While reminiscing back from last night, Glory clench her fists while grimacing from the vision at the falls.

I know what feels like to look up to someone you adore, Jack. I get the feeling...

Glory thought acknowledging his admiration for Leona as she watches Jack gazing down at the ground before lo9king back up.

"His play from three years ago was so awesome. So when I got into this school....After I join Savanaclaw, I thought I'd be able to play Magift with him for real..." He mutters with a look of anticipation but disappointment.

"So, hey...Glor. Even though it seems like he's just complaining about his dorm head..." Ace whispers, but Glory brushes off his whispers and looks at him with grey eyes that gleams with empathy.

"You actually respect a lot do you?" Glory ask him making Jack sigh.

"...I do, but now I can't. Not when he's like this. The incidents so far might seem inconsequential but I'm sure they've got their sights set on something bigger." He informs.

"Something bigger?" Deuce ask curiously.

"You mean..." Glory stammers but Jack nods at her answering her question.

"The dorm head of Diasomnia, Malleus Draconia. That guy is a monster on the field and led Diasomnia to victory two years in a row. Because of that, Savanaclaw lost in their first match without scoring a single point. All the older guys hold a grudge for that." Jack explains.

That's what I saw from last night, Leona mentioned about Malleus and it seems like he doesn't really like him one but which makes sense because he always wins every year.

"Well I don't really blame them, it really f#*ked up their confidence so I definitely know what it's like to loose to another team every year." Glory empathizes.

"Same here. Losing without scoring at all...That has to be frustrating for a dorm that's usually at the top..." Deuce agrees.

"Yeah. They were humiliated while the whole world watched. They're trying to retake their glory, but with underhanded methods." Jack growls.

"Which is not something that they should do cuz it's not the best method to achieve your goal." Glory points out.

"I know right!? It's disgusting how they think they could get away with such dirty tactics in order to win! This is not how the game of Magift works!" Jack rants.

"So they're planning to do something to Diasomnia the day of grin tournament?" Ace guessed.

"That's right, so I'm gonna crush that plan!" Jack declares.

"Thank you for telling us all of this." Suddenly Riddle and Cater appear out of nowhere.

"Riddle! Cater!" Glory gasps and nudge her arms in their ribs as she pulls their ears.

"If you tell them about the kiss incident that happened between me and Ruggie, I swear I will have both your balls cut. Got it?" Glory mutters with a threatening tone causing them to flinch.

"Eep! Got it!" They both whimper as she smiles and nods. Jack tilts his head in confusion wondering what they're whispering about. However, he brushes that off as he saw Riddle where he and Cater approach them.

"Dorm Head Rosehearts, Diamond." Deuce said as they approach the group.

"I can't allow anyone to sully our important traditions with their personal grudges." Riddle sternly informs.

"What do you wanna do? Riddle." Cater ask curiously.

"Even though Bunny collects all info, we still don't evidence against Ruggie for the incidents so far so we can't convict him." Riddle points out.

"Leona and his group are intelligent. They'd find a way out if we tried to accuse them." Riddle assumes.

"That means we have to go after them at the scene of the crime?" Ace ask curiously.

"I have an idea. First..."

Suddenly.....

"Wait. I just shared information with you, I've no intention of teaming up." Jack rebukes.

"Eh! You're saying that now?" Cater whines.

"I'm going to take down my dorm myself. See ya." Jack said, but Glory won't let him off the hook this time.

"Hold it!" Glory walks up to him and grabs him by the wrist causing him to stop and turn to her.

"Hm?"

"You do honestly think you can do this alone? I highly doubt you'll win against multiple savanaclaw members all at once." Glory points out making Jack irked and turns his body around with a scowl.

"...Ah?" Jack snarks as he glares down at Glory who is unfazed and cross her arms keeping her serious dagger at the tall wolf.

"I-It's back! Glory's blunt insight!" Grim shrieks.

"She has a point you know. Your chances of winning one versus the whole dorm are pretty slim." Deuce agrees as Glory looks at him dead in the eyes.

"Jack use your common sense. You knew this was going on for days now yet you haven't done anything to stop it. How are you gonna defeat them all at once if you don't know what tricks they have up in their sleeves? You don't even have a backup strategy!" Glory points out.

"If you want to stop them, then you have to work with us whether you like it or not." Then Glory forms a smirk.

"After all, smart wolves like you don't always hunt alone. They also hunt as a pack as well." Glory informs as Jack stays silent for a moment while staring at the brazen ravenette like he's gazing an the alpha wolf of the pack before he cross his arms.

"....Fine, I'll hear you out. But if I don't like your plan, I'm out." He reminds them.

"This guy is seriously a pain..." Ace mumbles.

"Hi stubbornness is right in the line with yours Ace." Cater

"Oh trust me wolfie, you're going to hear our plan very soon cuz I can assure you..." Glory then takes a few steps closer to Jack until she's in his face stunning him.

"...You will get your ass whoop if you go out there alone so I would use my ears to listen what people are gonna say first if I were you." Glory warns him with grey eyes that screams out menace causing his eyes to widen and his ears droop down and tail to froze when he witnessed the eyes of a wildcat before he let's out sigh.

"...Fine." He grumbles.

"Eek! Her Riddle mode has been activated!" Grim shrieks.

"Hey don't say that in front of him!" Cater whispers.

"Welp that's one way to scare off a wolf." Ace remarks.

"Uh Huh....." Deuce nods with a stutter while looking scared by Glory's death glare. Afterwards, Glory turns to Riddle with a smile and nods which he reciprocated before clearing his throat.

"Then to continue what I saying earlier. First...." As he starts explaining his plan, looks like their case has gone far from finished....
