Episode 1-9: The Collision Between The Sundrop & The Crimson Tyrant

Once Heartslabyul's infamous strict dorm leader has arrived, things have gone worst for Ace when he blindly ranted about how their dorm leader is 'super crazy'.

"Heh! Dorm leader!" Ace shrieks when he turns around and saw the short dorm leader with brownish red, mid-length hair that curves inward, V-shaped bangs covering his forehead, side bangs, and two strands of hair forming a heart on top of his head.

The Heartslabyul dorm leader wasn't pleased to hear Ace's rants when he strikes him with his stern silver eyes and his arms are fold against his chest.

"Oh my, Riddle. You're super crazy cute today.~" Cater compliments with a nervous tone.

"Hmph, Cater. If you talk too much, it's going to cost you your head." The short dorm leader, Riddle sternly reminds him.

"Hey now, gimme a break!" Cater chuckles awkwardly.

"Ffgna! This is the guy who put that weird collar on me during the entrance exam!" Grim hisses with a frown.

"You're the freshman that caused all that fuss of expulsion yesterday and was rumored to be the next Mother Gothel." Riddle assumes causing Glory widen her eyes and pinch her forehead in irritation.

I've heard this way too much already.

Glory ponders expressing annoyance when the strict dorm leader brought that 'Gothel' rumor again. Riddle then turns to Grim.

"Will you knock it off, calling someone's unique magic a 'weird collar'?" He retorts.

"For goodness sake. The headmaster is soft. If you forgive rule breakers the whole system will collapse. All you have to do is cut the head off of those who don't follow the rules." He sternly informs making Glory scoffs and shook her head in aggravation.

"The things coming out his mouth don't suit his looks..." Ace mutters.

"The headmaster appears to have forgiven you, Gothel's blood, but make no mistake the next time it happens, I will not." He sternly warns. Fed up with this whole Gothel schtick, Glory puts her milk carton to the table and turns to the rude short dorm leader with an irked frown.

"Well excuse me for the inconvenience I'd caused you, but once I find a way to get back home. You'll won't have to deal with me anymore." She seethes causing her two friends, Grim, Trey, and Cater to gasp in shock from Glory's unabashed remark.

"Oh? You dare talk to me with such a tone like that, Gloriane?" He asks with his tone that became more stern. With no hesitation, Glory stood up from her seat and cross her arms where she glares down at the short red brunette.

"Listen your majesty, I respect a man who values rules and expects them to follow the school code, but what I can't tolerate was the fact that you misinterpret me as 'Mother Gothel' because let me tell you. We may have the same looks, but we're both different. So I would appreciate it if you get that through your thick skull and stop calling me 'Gothel's Blood'. It's quite rude." Glory reassures glaring down at the infamous dorm leader of Heartslabyul causing everyone in the cafeteria to gasp in horror at the feisty ravenette's brazen attitude since no one has ever talk back to the notorious strict dorm leader of Heartslabyul dormitory before. Not wanting things to get worst, Trey and Cater quickly intervenes when Cater grabs her shoulders and pull her close while Trey gets in between Riddle and Glory.

"Ahaha, hey Glo-chan. Let's not get so hasty here, why won't just sit back down and finish your food? How about I show you some cat videos that I found on the internet?" Cater chuckles nervously while gripping her shoulders as a sign to stop provoking him.

"Yes, please don't be offended Riddle. I'm sure she means no harm!" Trey reassures trying to ease the tension and breaking up the fight, but Riddle didn't listen to Trey's reassurance and did not take her words so lightly. Affronted, he clenches his fists and glares harder at the outspoken ravenette, but soon was cut off by Ace awkward chuckle causing them to turn their heads to him.

"By the way, dorm leader, is ther any way....you could say, remove this collar?" Ace asks curiously while smiling nervously.

"I was going to if you had learned your lesson, but the way you were just talking shows that you haven't at all. Keep it on for a while longer." Riddle declines then turns back to Glory, Deuce, and Grim.

"Don't worry, as first years you'll only be learning fundamentals, not actually using magic." Riddle reassures.

"You also won't be able to cause a scene like yesterday, isn't that great?" He asks causing a red vein to pop from her head.

Was that suppose to be a compliment or an insult?

Glory thought while a red vein twitches from her forehead.

"Now don't just sit around chatting away, finish lunch and head to your next class. Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No.271: 'One should eat lunch and leave their seat within 15 minutes'. If you break the rules...I'm sure you understand?" He reminds them with a serious tone. This baffles Glory.

Within 15 minutes?

She thought looking confused by the strange rule.

"Haah, another weird rule..." He mumbles.

"The answer is, 'Yes, dorm leader!'" Riddle corrects them.

"Yes, dorm leader!" Deuce and Ace complies though Ace looks rather annoyed when saying this.

"Very good." Riddle said with satisfaction.

"I will look after them for you." Trey informs.

"Hm. You're the vice dorm leader, so I expect you to not act so foolishly. Following the Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No.339, 'After a meal, one must always drink lemon tea with two sugars'." He informs making Glory sweat drop.

Is that really necessary?

Glory thought while still baffle by the other rule.

"I must go buy sugar cubes from the school store, so I'll be on my way. Letting the sugar cubes run out is a huge offense, I can't believe it..." He mumbles as he turns to Glory one last time.

"Now I don't hate those who don't follow the rules, but if you violate the rules of this dormitory...." Riddle then leans his face close to her ear where Glory felt him smirking.

"You understand what happens right? I will break your neck, so be sure to keep that mouth of yours shut if you don't want to face my wrath." He whispers as he steps away and cross his arms.

"Remember what I said Gloriane, understood?" He asks as Glory crept an innocent smile acting really polite towards the strict dorm leader.

"I make no promises, your majesty." Glory replies with an unreserved tone while keeping an innocent face causing her friends, Trey and Cater, and everyone in this room to be lightly tremble when they felt the tension in the air as two intimidating individuals exchange glares from one another. Riddle then sighs and turns his back at her.

"I'll shall take my leave now, be sure to finish your meal or else..." Riddle reminds them in a menacing tone and walks off.

"Jesus..." Glory murmurs. Suddenly her eye glows black when she saw his red heart dripping with a small black of ooze on top before she reverts back to reality and shook her head.

"What the..." She mumbles by the vision she saw. Why was she seeing Riddle's heart and why is there black ooze dripping on his heart?

"Eeeeii. That was close." She soon shook her head when she heard Cater sighing.

"Glory-san, what the hell were you thinking talking back to the dorm leader like that?!" Deuce whispers in Glory's ear.

"That guy is so obnoxious." Grim grumbles.

"Whoa! That's rude!" Deuce rebukes Grim for his rude remark.

"Did the dorm leader leave?"

"Hm?"

Glory turns to the left when she heard him whisper to the other Heartslabyul student.

"I broke the Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No.186, "One must never eat a Hamburger steak on Tuesday. I was terrified of what would happen if he found out I ate one." He mutter.

"Uuuugh...At least let us eat whatever we want...." He mumbles. Glory gaze at them with sympathetic grey eyes.

Man...I can't imagine how I feel when I'm in their shoes. If I were in Heartslabyul, I would've been shaking like crazy.

Glory ponders feeling sorry for those two Heartslabyul students and turns back to her friends.

"...In his first week at school Riddle took the seat of dorm leader." Trey states.

"First week?" Glory asks.

"Mhm. He speaks harshly, but he's trying to make the dorm better, he doesn't have bad intentions." He reassures. Glory looks down at her lap looking back at her first encounter with Riddle and her first interaction with the dorm leader himself.

He may have his views on rules and values it wholeheartedly, but....for some reason, I just don't agree with his methods. These rules are bizarre yet absurd. I wonder why he acts so strict?

Glory thought questioning his values in rules and role as a dorm leader.

"Someone with good intentions doesn't randomly collar people!" Grim points out and he's not wrong about that.

You've taken the words out of my mouth, Grim.

Glory thought while looking at him. Trey and Cater chuckle nervously. A question starts to pop from her mind and Glory starts asking them.

"You guys have been with Riddle for a long time right? Do you know what his unique magic is?" Glory asks curiously.

"Hm? You mean Riddle's unique magic?" Cater asks.

"Unique...means that it's magic that only he can use?" Deuce asks curiously.

"It's magic that's strictly limited to one person. Simply put, it's magic that reflects the character of the user that only they can use, so 'unique magic'. You'll learn about it in class eventually." Trey explains.

"Riddle's unique magic lets him seal another person's magic for fixed amount of time. It's called..."

Off with your head!

"Hiii! Just the name is terrifying!" Grim shrills and shivers underneath her lap.

"Welp...that explains the collar then." Glory finally understood with a sweat drop on her forehead.

"As a wizard, having your magic sealed hurts like losing your head." Cater says.

Therefore, you shouldn't break Riddle's rules inside the dorm." Cater informs.

"It also means he isn't scary if you follow the rules." Trey reassures, but Glory isn't so sure if that's the case or not since he was rude when he called her 'Gothel's Blood' which she'll have a hard time getting use to the name during her time here.

I don't know if it's true Trey....

Glory thought while looking skeptical about his description of Riddle as she a sip of her milk.

"So what you're saying is I have to go buy a tart or Cater will kick me out again?" Ace asks curiously.

"That's right. As decided by the Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No.53. In particular, Riddle really looks forward to eating the first piece of a whole tart so he won't forgive unless it's whole." Cater told him.

"You said you want to be friends, so can't you just overlook that!" Ace complains.

"That is that, this is this." Cater nonchalantly states.

"But aren't whole tarts pretty expensive?" Deuce asks making her eyes widen and spits her drink out of shock.

"Holy sh#t! For real?!" Glory shrills when learn about the price of the tarts and wipes her mouth with her arm.

"That's how it is in Heartslabyul." Cater replies.

"Blegh. I don't have that kind of money." Ace sighs and shakes his head.

"Then how about making one? The other tarts were all made by Trey." Cater informs.

"Whoa really? That's amazing! Unlike me, I'm a terrible cook." Glory giggles.

"Trey, you made that tart? Amazing! It was as good as a pro's." Ace compliments.

"Haha, thank you. It's true, I have all the tools and seasonings. I won't help you for free." Trey informs.

"Eeeehh?! I have to pay for it?" Ace shrills making Trey chuckle.

"Haha, I'm not gonna squeeze money out of an underclassman. If we're going to make the tart Riddle wants to eat next, we need a lot of chestnuts. Could you gather them for me?" Trey requests.

"Either way is a pain. Well, how many do you need?" Ace asks.

"To make it for the Unbirthday party we'll need...about 2~300, I think." Trey calculates.

"THAT MANY?!" Deuce and Grim shrills by the amount of chestnuts.

"FOR ONE PARTY?!" Glory shouts with a stunned look.

"Yup. Then I'll have you roast them and remove the outer shell to take out the nut." Trey explains.

"Can I go home?" Grim asks looking stressed.

"Me too." Deuce agrees.

"Traitors!" Ace rants.

"You know, tarts that everyone makes together are always the best! To make memories? You might even make you debut as a food blogger." Cater states it making Glory laugh at his statement.

"Nah, I'll burn the whole kitchen if I do. I'm not a pro cook like Trey is." Glory giggles.

"Besides, I have to go the library to do some research. Then I need to go to the infirmary for traaa- Volunteering!" Glory told them causing her three friends to become baffled.

"Eh?"

"Huh?"

"What are you- MPHM!" Glory stuffs Grim's mouth with an apple and smacks Deuce and Ace's mouth with her hands while giggling a bit nervously.

"Yeah! Merlin really wants me to help out at the infirmary today so I'll be gone for a while!" Glory told them with a sweat drop while grinning awkwardly. This baffles her friends and confuses Trey and Cater.

Annoyed, Grim spits the apple and turns to Glory with a frown.

"What the hell was that for Glo-"

"Speaking of which, I'll be right back! I need to have a little chat with my friends!" Glory says as she immediately grabs Ace, Grim, and Deuce as she bolts through the door leaving Trey and Cater sweat drop with puzzled looks.

"Whoa Glor! What the-"

"Guys, you can't tell them that I'm being trained under Merlin. You must keep this a secret, otherwise I'll receive some much attention and I don't want that!" She whispers.

"But-"

"Please!" Glory pleads cupping her hands together to her friends. The three look baffled but they soon let out a sigh.

"Alright, we'll keep it a secret." Ace complies.

"Yeah, we'll do anything for you." Deuce assures.

"Fine, I won't tell." Grim sighs and Glory grins in satisfaction.

"Thanks guys." She grins. Afterwards, they both head back to the cafeteria where they sat back their table with Trey and Cater.

"Is everything okay?" Trey asks looking concern.

"Yeah, I just need to tell them to take care of Grim while I'm gone." She told them.

"About the volunteering? Don't worry about it, you can come back to our dorm once you're finished. And maybe, I could teach you how to cook like me." Trey suggests making Glory giggle.

"I might fail either way, but I'll do everything I can to help you guys in the kitchen after we gather a bunch of chestnuts." She assures.

"Likewise, but keep this a secret from Riddle. Freshly baked Mont Blanc is the most delicious." Trey suggests.

"I never had Mont Blanc before, but I can't wait to try it." Glory glees.

"Ooh ooh ooh! Let's get a move on! We're gonna pick chestnut after chestnut after chestnut!" Grim chirps.

"You sure changed your tune quick." Glory remarks.

"There should be plenty of chestnuts trees in forest behind the campus botanical garden. That's where we'll be Glory once you're done volunteering at the infirmary." Trey reminds her and she nods.

"I'll do everything I can to be there on time." Glory replies.

"Then we meet after class in front of the botanical garden." Ace rejoices.

"Go! Go! Chestnut picking!" Grim cheers making Glory giggling at his cute cheers.

"Ms. Corbett."

"Hm?"

Glory soon turns around to a student in front of her.

"Yes? Is something you need?" She asks.

"The headmaster and Merlin wants to talk to you in his office." He informs causing her to sigh.

Welp, I was right when I said I was screwed...Damnnit.
