Thomas Fights Back

Thomas is watching a Boot Pig video in the computer room when Muscle Man comes in with laundry. "Hey, Thomas!" Muscle Man said. "Hey, Muscle Man. What's up?" Thomas asked. Muscle Man throws laundry on Thomas. "Make yourself useful by taking my clothes to the dry cleaners. And no starch this time. It wreaks havoc on my pepperonis." He said. "Oh. Sorry." Thomas said. "Don't be sorry, be aware!" Muscle Man scolded, and Thomas glares at him. "Okay. Thanks, Muscle Man." Thomas walks into the hall.

"Aw, man..." he picks up a piece of underwear when he hears Skips in the other room. "So you wanted to talk to me about Thomas?" Thomas begins listening through the door. "Yeah. Well, don't get me wrong, Thomas is a good kid. But, man, I've been spending so much time on this internship program!" Benson said. "Oh, yeah." Skips said.

"I think we're gonna have to let Thomas go." Benson said. "That's a shame. And (Y/n) might be pretty upset, but I can see where you're coming from." Skips said, and Benson sighs. "I know. I kinda had a feeling (Y/n) wouldn't be too happy about me firing him, they've gotten pretty close recently and I'd hate to ruin that for her, and she's the only reason I've held off on firing him, but the last thing this park needs is another worker standing around doing nothing all day.

That's already Mordecai and Rigby's job, am I right? Sometimes (Y/n)'s too." Benson said. "Yeah, I heard that." Skips sips his coffee. "Speaking of which, have you seen her at all today?" Benson asked, and Skips raises an eyebrow. "You haven't seen her yet today?" He asked, and he shakes his head. "No, not really. Rigby told me he came into her room earlier to see if she had just been oversleeping but told me that she wasn't there." Benson said. "Has he checked the rest of the house?" Skips asked. "Yeah, he said he and Mordecai even checked outside." Benson said. "That isn't good, (Y/n) isn't the type to just disappear without any news." Skips said. "It is rather troubling. I'll ask everyone to look for her. After I give Thomas the bad news." Benson said.

This worried Thomas. 'Nobody's seen (Y/n) yet today? I hope she's okay.' He thought to himself. Thomas takes his phone out. "Mom, Benson says he's gonna fire me if I can't make myself useful! I may never see (Y/n) again! What should I-" Benson walks out of the room. "Okay, I'll try." Thomas turns to Benson. "Hey, Benson! How's it going?" He asked. "Not great, actually." Benson said.

"Well, glad to hear it! As for me, I was just going over all the duties I fulfilled at the park today." Thomas said. "Which duties, exactly?" Benson asked. "Well, for instance, Oh, uh, I put sawdust on the barf around the perimeter of the merry-go-round? And, umm... Stuff like that! You know, duties! You agree that stuff's important, right? You don't want barf in your park, do you?" Thomas asked. "Of course not. I'm extremely anti-barf." Benson said awkwardly, then removes Thomas' hands from his shoulders. "Still, Thomas, I have some-" Benson said. "Bad news! Benson, come in!" Mordecai said. "This better be important. I'm in the middle of something." Benson said. "It's the statue! It's gone!" Mordecai said.

"What??" Benson asked. Benson and Thomas join the others outside, and Benson slams the clipboard on the ground. "Ugh! I can't believe Gene did it again!" He shouted angrily, then face palms with a sigh. "Well, this explains (Y/n)'s disappearance." Benson said. "Wait, who's Gene? And what do you mean?" Thomas asked. "Gene's the prank obsessed manager from our rival park.

Every year, he and his goons steal the statue of Curtis Montgomery, and we have to go recover it. Not only that, but they also try to steal (Y/n)." Skips said. "So he and his goons have always been targeting her." Benson said, and Thomas' eyes widen. "Wait, what?! The statue is one thing, but (Y/n) is another, that's kidnapping." Thomas said. "We know that, Thomas!" Rigby shouted angrily. "What would Gene want with her anyway?" Thomas asked, and Benson sighs. "I don't know, Thomas.

But he's always wanted (Y/n) as a member of his park and has always been trying to convert her to their side." Benson said. "There has to be a reason though." Thomas said. "Well yeah, that much is obvious, Thomas." Rigby snapped. "No, I mean... has Gene ever told you guys why he wants (Y/n)?" Thomas asked. "No." Benson shakes his head. "He's refused to share that information with us." He said. "I never understood that to be honest, why does he want her so badly?"

Rigby asked angrily. "Maybe they know something about her that we don't?" Thomas asked, and Mordecai and Rigby both cringe at this, looking at each other worriedly. Benson only scoffs. "Huh, oh yeah? Like what?" He asked. "Maybe something family related or something." Thomas said, and Skips shook his head. "(Y/n) doesn't have a family." He said. Thomas' eyes widened and he quickly turns to him. "What?" He asked in surprise. "At least, that's what she thought,

until those sisters of hers showed up recently. But she wasn't even aware that she had any family before they came along." Skips said. "So you're saying before all of this she was... alone?" Thomas asked, and Skips nodded. Everyone shares glances of sympathy for her. "Ugh!" Rigby grabs a rock and angrily throws it at the place the statue should have been. "You're right about one thing, Thomas. Taking our statue is one thing, but taking our friend is another! We have to get in there and get her back!" Rigby shouted.

"How can I help?" Thomas asked. "Thomas, you're just an intern. You're not necessary in this one. Besides, we already have a backup plan. Suit up, you guys, we're going with Operation Alien Strike Force." Benson said. "Yes! I knew we'd do one of mine eventually." Rigby said. "Can I come at least?" Thomas asked. "Look Thomas, I know you're worried about (Y/n), but we only have enough costumes for the six of us." Mordecai said. "Plus, there's no time to brief you and this plan is air tight! You'll just be dead weight." Rigby said. Everyone except for Thomas and Benson run off. "Just go take a seat in my office and wait for me there, okay? I still need to talk to you when we get back." Benson said. "I am necessary. I just need to prove it." Thomas said.

At night time at the park house, Thomas goes onto the roof and takes out a walkie talkie and binoculars. "Alright Muscle Man, go." Benson said. At the East Pines Park, Muscle Man runs to the gate. "Help, help! I'm stuck!" Muscle Man shouted. Gene and others run to Muscle Man. "What's going on here?" Gene asked. Mordecai, Rigby, Benson, Pops, Skips, and High-Five Ghost run over in alien costumes. "We are aliens! Surrender to us now!" Mordecai, Rigby, Benson, Pops, Skips, and High-Five Ghost said. "What? Aliens?" An East Pines worker asked. "You blockheads, it's just Benson and his men in cheap costumes! They're trespassing! Fire at will!" East Pine Workers click tomato shooters and start shooting, Thomas watches with worry, then fires a flare without anyone knowing it was him.

"It's a UFO!" An East Pines worker shouted. "Oh no, more aliens!" East Pines Workers run into their park, Mordecai, Rigby, Benson, Pops, Skips, Muscle Man, and High-Five Ghost run back into their golf cart and go back, later at the house, everyone is gathered into Benson's office. "We need a better plan to get (Y/n) and the statue back." Benson said. "How about we go in there dressed as zombies?" Rigby asked.

"No, no more costumes." Benson said. "I say we just demo the supply bunkers." Muscle Man said. "Sounds like a lot of people could get hurt." Benson said. "Yeah, that's the point! They shot us with tomatoes!" Muscle Man shouted. "Guys, I have an idea! I could go undercover as an intern and gather information. We'll take them down from the inside!" Thomas said. "Uh, Thomas... no. I didn't want to do this in front of everyone, but, you're fi-" Thomas cuts Benson off. "Wait! I know I'm not the most important worker around here and during my internship here, I've gotten to know each of you, and I finally feel like you've accepted me. I don't want to lose that. And I really want to help (Y/n)." Thomas said, and everyone smirks at each other slightly,

making him confused as he looks at everyone. "Why are you all looking at me like that?" He asked awkwardly. "Oh you know, it's just... the thing you and (Y/n) have." Benson said. "Yeah, it's adorable." Skips said, and Thomas raises an eyebrow. "Huh? What thing?" He asked. "What are you talking about?" Thomas asked. "Come on, dude! It's obvious. You really like her, don't you?" Mordecai smirks, and Thomas blushes a little. "What?! No, no! I mean... yeah, she's funny, smart, kind, and a great friend, but you're getting the wrong idea! We're just good friends, okay?" Thomas asked. "That's what they all say." Muscle Man said, and Thomas glares at him. "Dude!" He scolded, and everyone laughs, and Thomas face palms. He then sighs.

"Plus, I feel like I owe her one for what she did for me back during the whole Exit9B thing..." everyone stiffens. "She was willing to sacrifice herself just for my sake, she wouldn't have accepted his offer of leaving you guys alone unless he didn't hurt me either. Please, just give me this one chance to show that I can be a valuable member to this park. Plus," Thomas takes out a flare gun. "I'm the one who shot that flare that saved you." He said. "Where'd you get that?" Mordecai asked. "My mom works for an in-flight magazine. She gets stuff like this for free." Thomas replied quickly. "Ugh! You see, that's just it, Thomas. You're too much of a mama's boy to pull this off. I don't even know what (Y/n) sees in you." Muscle Man said.

Rage fills Thomas from that remark, and he runs to Muscle Man and knocks him down with a kick move. "Still think I'm a mama's boy?" He sneered. "Uncle! Uncle!" Muscle Man shouted. "Alright, what's your plan?" Benson asked. Thomas helps Muscle Man up. "Alright, the way I see it, it'll take me 30 days to integrate into the park." Thomas said. Pops and Thomas head to the rival park on Carmenita. "I'll infiltrate the park from the air." Pops and Thomas nod at each other before Thomas parachutes out of Carmenita to the ground. He started walking toward the park, changing into a costume. He takes out a piece of paper. "I'll forge an intern ID and create a whole new persona. My name will be... ..Nicholas." Thomas said. "I said, "That's not my landlord, that's my lamblord!" Thomas joked. Gene laughs and shakes hands with Thomas. "You're alright, kid."

(Day 2.)

"I'll embed myself behind enemy lines and play the role of an East Pines intern." "Nicholas" and a bunch of other interns get their heads shaved. They are shown standing in line while Gene paces with a grin. "I'll gain the other interns' trust by getting them snacks and doing all their work for em'." Thomas gets an intern a coffee and asking them to do their walkie talkie job.

He then fills up gas for the carts to cover for two other interns. He then cleans the East Pines phone for another intern. "Once everyone's comfortable with me, I'll be free to wander the park and get a lay of the land, to figure out where they hid the statue and where they're keeping (Y/n)." "Nicholas" opens the door releasing three chickens coming out, Later "Nicholas" was shoveling as Gene walks in. "How you liking field work?" Gene asked. "It's just fine, sir." Thomas said.

"Wanna know a secret?" He gives Thomas a secret and points at the silo and then laughs and so does "Nicholas" "Good one sir." Thomas said. "Oh, and also, I was wondering if you could help us with something." Gene said. "And what is that, sir?" "Nicholas" asked curiously. "We've captured an enemy rival from the other park." Gene said. "Oh really?" "Nicholas" asked, trying to act as if he was oblivious to everything. "Yes, I've wanted her as a member of our park for years now,

but she's very stubborn and refuses to listen to anything I say." Gene said. 'For good reason.' Thomas thought to himself. "I was wondering if you could maybe... talk some sense into her." Thomas gasps and his hands turn into fists. Was he asking him to hurt her? "You know, to get her to cooperate. And it wouldn't hurt to be hostile." Gene said. Thomas growls slightly at that. "You alright, Nicholas?" Gene asked with slight concern, raising an eyebrow. Thomas soon realized that he was letting his emotions show and quickly hid them with a shake of his head. "Sorry sir, so you want me to hurt her?" "Nicholas" asked in a serious tone. "Only if she doesn't cooperate." Gene said. And "Nicholas" nods. "You're going to have to tell me where she is though, sir." "Nicholas" said. "Oh, of course. She's in there too." Gene said. Gene then whispers something and walks off. Thomas snaps the photo of a silo.

(Day 11)

Thomas approaches the silo, he knocks on the door to make sure nobody is there. "Hello?" When he gets no response, he opens the door and enters. "(Y/n)?" He whispers. "(Y/n), are you in here?" He asked quietly. He walks in further. "Leave me alone!" (Y/n) swiftly throws a right hook right to his face, and he doubles back in pain. "Ah! Ow!" He cries out in pain. (Y/n) quickly covers her mouth in surprise. "T- Thomas?!" She asked in shock. "Yeah?" He asked, rubbing his sore cheek. "Oh- oh my god! I'm so sorry! I thought you were Gene or an East Pines employee or something!" She apologized quickly, and Thomas shakes his head. "Well, I sort of am right now." Thomas said, and (Y/n)'s eyes widen, then she steps back. "Wait, what do you mean?" She asked. "Wait, it's not like that!" Thomas persisted. "I'm not a traitor (Y/n), I promise! I would never-" Thomas stopped himself from what he was about to say, but finishes anyway. "Betray you..." He said quietly.

"I'm working here for your park, I'm only working as in intern for these guys so I can help your friends get their statue and friend back." Thomas said, and (Y/n) looks at him with concern. "That's really risky, Thomas. You could get in big trouble if you're caught." She said, and Thomas smiles at her. "You don't have to worry about me, okay?" He asked softly. "I'll be fine." He said.

"How did you find out I was here? I'm assuming Gene sent you to try and force me to join him, right?" She asked, and a playful smirk forms on Thomas. "That's right, (Y/n). So you better do everything I say." He said playfully, and (Y/n) chuckles. "Oh yeah? Or else what?" She asked. "Or else I'll have to tell Gene what a bad girl you're being. You wouldn't want that, would you?" Thomas said. "Oh, hate to disappoint, but I'm not really scared of Gene, so you can do me a favor and tell Gene that he can go suck a-" Thomas quickly put his hands up.

"Whoa, let's keep this PG." He said, but (Y/n) knew he was still joking and laughed a little. "I think you already broke that with the "tell Gene what a bad girl I'm being" joke. (Y/n) smirks. "I didn't mean it like that." Thomas said, then smirks. "I didn't know you had such a dirty mind, (Y/n)." He said, and she blushes a bit from embarrassment. "I- I don't. I was just kidding." She said, and (Y/n) chuckles, but then her face saddens.

"I'm sorry about all of this." (Y/n) said, and his eyes widen. "You're sorry? For what?" He asked. "I didn't want you to get dragged into this." (Y/n) said. "I wanted to do this!" Thomas said, surprising her. "You mean a lot to me, (Y/n). And I'm going to get you out of here, you just have to trust me." Thomas said, and (Y/n) looks at him. "Do you trust me?" Thomas asked, and she nods. "I trust you."  Thomas smiles at her. Later Thomas jumps inside the observatory and removes the white cloths to see the statue.

(Day 25)

Thomas is behind the rock holding a binocular to see the training ground. "I won't lie to you, this mission is highly dangerous, If I'm found out they'll almost sure to prank me mercilessly, but for the park and for (Y/n), I think it's worth it." Thomas said.

(Day 30)

"I'll keep a close eye on what they do and memorize the schedule, so I can pin point the perfect night to steal the statue and free (Y/n). At the end of the 30th night watch for my signal." Thomas fires a flare gun straight at the sky releasing the flare. "He pulled it off. Let's go." Benson said. The park employees see the box, Benson picked it up to see the East Pines uniform. "Look a note! Put these on and meet me by the front gate of Gene's park, and hurry, there isn't much time." Rigby said. The gang in their East Pine uniforms run out of the bush to see the East Pine van, Thomas opens the back door of the van. "Let's go get our friend and statue." Thomas said. They drive to the East Pines Park. "Alright, Gene and his men are at the Park Managers Formal. That should give us about an hour to retrieve the statue and get out." Thomas said.

"Nobody invited me to the park managers formal!" Benson said. Thomas turns the van to the left in front of the gate. "Shh, quiet, we're here." Thomas said. The gate opens, and Thomas starts the van then stops to talk to one of the East Pine workers. "Nicholas, what are you doing? Interns' lights out at nine P.M. and you know that." Jeff said. "Yeah, well you know, the boss had me out running errands. It's always something, right?" Thomas asked.

"Heh, you can say that again, you have a good night." Jeff said. "You do the same boss." Thomas said. The van drives off. Thomas checks the mirror view to see the guard closing the gate. "I still can't believe that they didn't invite me to the park managers formal!" Benson said. "You need to work on your networking skills bro." Muscle Man said. Thomas pulls the van over next the observatory,

Thomas pulls a tree branch placing it on the van. "Alright, you three stay here and wait for my signal, the rest of you follow me." Thomas, Mordecai, Skips, Benson and Muscle Man run to the silo as Thomas throws the rope hook on top of the window of the observatory. "The statue and (Y/n) are in the silo," they climb all the way on top. "And the only way is through the top." Thomas said.

"Full house baby, read em and weep." Jeff said. "Aw come on man! I'm gonna go prank the interns." A guard said. "Alright, better luck next time." Guard #2 walks outside with the flashlight, next the gang are inside the silo where the statue and (Y/n) are, then the East Pine workers sleeping in their beds then Guard #2 opens the door, holding a garbage lid and a spoon he hits the spoon with a garbage lid waking the workers up.

"Rise and shine ladies!" The guard laughs. "Yeah heh heh, I just pranked you guys good." The Guard #2 walks next to "Nicholas'" bed and discovers it's not him. At the park managers formal, all park managers are dancing with their girls, Gene was seen dancing with his girlfriend and suddenly his phone rings. "I'm sorry sweetie, just give me a minute will ya." He picks up his phone. "I told you not to call me tonight!" Gene shouted.

"Sir, it's Nicholas!" Gene was in shock, he went back to the park fast, removes the covers to see it's not Nicholas, it was just a bunch of pillows and a basketball attached with two toilet paper rolls. "Oh my!" Muscle Man is riding a moving vehicle and carries the statue, the gang push the statue safety and almost fall down. "I got it, I got it." He drives the moving vehicle with the statue.

"We gotta hurry! He'll be back any minute." Thomas said. Thomas opens the door and they see Gene and his men are here. "Uh oh..." (Y/n) said. Thomas steps in front of her protectively and glares at Gene. "You almost had me fooled, Nicholas." Gene said. The gang is shocked. "Now do me a favor and hand (Y/n) over." Gene said. "Like hell!" Thomas growled furiously. "My, my, Nicholas. Looks like you need to learn a lesson about respect." Gene said. "Someone like you doesn't deserve respect!"

Thomas shouted, and Gene steps closer to him menacingly. "Thomas!" (Y/n) said worriedly. "I'd watch your mouth kid, or you'll be in big trouble." Gene hissed, and Thomas glared back at him, unfazed by his threat. "Now, I won't say it again. Hand her over." Gene said. "NO!" Thomas shouted. "What do you even want with her anyway?" Rigby demanded. "That's none of your business." Gene said. "It actually is our business, considering she's our friend." Mordecai said angrily.

"Yeah! (Y/n) and the statue are ours, Gene!" Benson shouted. "As long as they're in my park, they're mine, maybe I should just call some back up to teach you that lesson." Gene picks up a device. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Thomas said. "No intern tells me what to do!" Gene shouted, and (Y/n) growls at him. "I'm not your intern, I'm their intern." Thomas said, looking at his friends. "Hmph. Touching."

Gene press the red button, which explodes the barrels. "Come on, let's go!" Thomas shouted. Thomas grabs (Y/n)'s right paw and they jump on the moving vehicle with the statue and take off, they made it towards the van. "Just get in the truck and stay down!" Thomas said. They put the statue inside the van and Thomas accelerates the van. "Get to the golf carts!" Gene shouted. They run to their carts, and Guard #2 tries to drive but suddenly it's not moving.

"There is no gas on these things!" Guard #2 shouted. "What?!" Gene asked. Thomas stops at the gate. "Play it cool, Muscle Man." Thomas said. "Give me your walkie talkie, Jeff! Come in Jeff." Gene looks behind his walkie talkie and finds out there are no batteries. "There's no batteries in here!" Gene shouted. "There's no batteries in mine either, sir." An intern said. "We're gonna have to use the emergency phone." Gene said. At the gate, Jeff walks in and turns on his flashlight.

"Nicholas what are you doing out again, and who's this?" Jeff asked. "Uh... I... uh?" Muscle Man asked. "He's the maintenance guy from this morning, and Gene just called me and asked me to give him a lift home. It's always something, right?" Thomas asked. "Yeah, it's always something, right?" Muscle Man repeated. "You have to verify this with Gene cause this is the first I'm hearing this." He picks up a walkie talkie. "Gene, this is Jeff, coming over." Jeff said. "He knows!" Rigby said, and Mordecai punches Rigby. "This is Gene calling all personnel, hello?"

Gene finds out the wire on the phone is cut off. "Wait a minute" Gene started to realize what Thomas had done, in his flashback, Thomas cuts the wires of the emergency phone off with a knife, he then puts batteries in the walkie talkie, then throws the batteries on the floor, next using the knife to cut the wires of on one of the East Pines cart. After the flashback ends, Gene drops the phone and it smashes into pieces on the floor. "NICHOLAS!!!!!!!!!" He shouted. "Hello Gene? Uh he's not answering." Jeff said. "Look, the guys tried he's been working all day, just let me take him back and I'll explain to Gene later." Thomas said. "Nah... There's something funny going on here. I want both of you step out of the vehicle right now." Jeff said.

"Forget the statue, at least we have (Y/n) back right? Let's get out of here." Rigby said. Jeff picks up the gun. "What was that?!" He asked. "What was what?" Thomas asked innocently. "I heard something." Jeff said. "I don't know what you're talking about? Just let me call Gene on my phone and he'll verify this." Thomas said.

"Alright, go ahead, but don't try anything funny." Jeff said. "What's he doing? It's not gonna work!" Mordecai whispers. Gene and his men are seen running after the van, then Thomas picks up his phone. "Hey Gene, it's Nicholas requesting clearance for the maintenance guy," Thomas giggles. "Yeah, he's being difficult. Here he is." He shows his phone to Jeff. "Let him through, you blockhead!" Gene shouted.

"Oh uh.. I'm sorry sir, my mistake." Jeff runs in the park gate and presses the red button and opens the gate. "Stop! Stop! Don't let them through!" Gene shouted. "It's Gene!" (Y/n) said. "Oh no!" Jeff presses the red button again trying to close the gate but Thomas accelerates the van passing through the gate as the gang scream except Thomas, and the van gets a few scratches from the gate closing as Jeff watches Gene and his men running. "No!" Gene and his men try to get to the van but are too late as it already got out and they get away with the statue as Gene kneels on the ground. "NICHOLAS!!!!!!!!!" Gene shouted. The tow truck lows the statue back where it belongs as the gang cheer. "Sit tight, Curtis Montgomery, you and (Y/n) are safe at home,

I'm sorry I doubted you, Thomas." Benson said. "Ah. Don't worry about it." Thomas said. "How did you do that when Gene answered your phone call?" Rigby asked. "Oh, I had his voice recorded from earlier." He picks up his phone and plays the voice again. "Let him through, you blockhead!" "Impressive." Skips said. "Yeah, you really had them fooled Thomas, you should be an actual spy." (Y/n) joked,

and Thomas tensed for a moment, then laughs. "Yeah? You think?" He asked. "Pretty cool, but you'll always be a momma's boy to me." Muscle Man said, and (Y/n) sighs. "Muscle Man, come on." She said in disappointment. Thomas does his fighting stance, and Muscle Man squeals and then everyone laughs as Thomas' phone rings. "Alright guys, I gotta get this. See ya later." The gang say bye to Thomas as he answers the phone. "Hey Mom, good news. They want me to stay at the park. And I think I earned (Y/n)'s trust pretty well. Yep, mission accomplished." Thomas said.
