Physical Therapy Part 1
I woke up this morning wishing to get out of this recovery room. I've been stuck lying on my hospital bed for three weeks! I mean, it's not that boring when your'e with Ivan. He makes everything better. Gosh, I would of been dying of boredom if Ivan wasn't in here with me, but..still....I want to take a walk outside or do something other than just lay here and talk to Ivan.
"Olivia?", a woman peeked into the room.
"I prefer to be called Liv.", I said. The woman walked towards me.
"I'm Dona, your physical therapist.", she said, holding out her hand for me to shake it. Dona had blond hair, blue eyes, and smooth pink lips. She was no doubt the prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life. Her face is glowing. She just so...freaking...pretty. I shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you. You are so pretty. Gosh, I wish I was as pretty as you.", I said.
"What are you talking about?? I'm so ugly! YOU are the pretty one.", Dona said.
"No way! I'm like Godzilla compared to you.", I said.
"I think it's the oppisite, but....whatever. Anyways, I came in here to take you on a walk. Oh, jesus christ...I sound like I'm talking to a freaking dog. Let me rephrase that. I would like you to practice walking through the halls of the hospital. Please tell me if your back hurts, ok?", she said. Oh, yeah..I forgot to mention that the other day, when I got my weight checked, Dr. Norman had to hold my arm to help me keep my balance and walk.
"I would love to go on a walk! Yes!! I'm finally getting out of this freaking hospital bed!!!", I said.
"I forgot!", she said wide eyed, "You were lying in this hospital bed for three weeks now!"
"If he wasn't here," I said, pointing to Ivan, "I would have already died from boredom." She laughed.
"Alright, let's get you off this darn bed!", she said, pulling me up from my arms. I turned to the side of my bed.
"Wait...let me get your shoes.", Dona said. She ran over to where my shoes were, picked up my shoes, and ran back to me. She put on my shoes, and tied them.
"Oh, yeah...I forgot. I can't tie my own freaking shoes. I will forever not be able to bend, and someone will forever have to tie my shoes for me.", I said, grumpily.
"What? That's not true. You just aren't allowed to bend right now. You can bend in the future, don't worry.", she said.
"What?! I completely misunderstood that!! Oh my god, I'm SOO happy!", I said.
"Alright, let's get you standing up.", she said. She took my hand, and I stood up. She then held my arm.
Ivan woke up.
"Where are you going, Liv?", Ivan asked.
"I'm starting physical therapy. I'm going for a walk with my physical therapist, Dona.",I said. Ivan's eyes went wide. I could tell he was having a crush on her. I rolled my eyes.
"Can we please leave now, Dona?", I asked.
"Yeah. Bye, boy.", she said.
"B-b-b-bye.", Ivan said.
Dona held on to my arm as I practiced walking down the halls of the hospital. There were tons of pictures on the walls from all over the world. I walked by a picture of the skyline of Chicago, a picture of houses in China, and a picture of a beach in Ireland. Then, I saw the most beautiful picture of all: a picture of The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I stopped walking and turned towards the picture. In the picture, it was almost night time. You could a sliver of the sun as it was about to go down and the moon was about to rise. The bridge lit up with lights, and it reflected in the water below it. You could see San Francisco in the background, and it was also lit up with lights. Lights remind me of hope. Lights remind me of happiness. Lights also remind me of love.
"It's a beautiful picture.",I said.
"Yeah. It really is.", Dona said. "Hey, um...do you think the boy in your recovery room liked me?"
"I'm sure of it. You really are pretty, Dona.", I said. '
"I'm not, though. I'm actually like Godzilla. You...you're an angel.", she said.
"Thanks.", I said.
How could I be so pretty to her?
I have no idea.

Hey guys! I know I haven't updated this in while, and I'm sorry about that. I kind of forgot about this book. I never want to the kind of author that leaves a book unfinished. Never.
Bye,
Madz!
