Yu Narukami is your average high school student. That is if your average high school student had helped catch a serial killer, could enter a TV set, and had special powers called 'Persona' when in the TV. So yeah, he and his friends were totally normal.

"Every day's great at your Junes..." he looked up from his book and saw his cousin Nanako singing along to the familiar slogan playing on the TV. Where she got her fascination for that store, he will never know...

"Hey big bro?" he looked up from his book again.

"Yeah Nanako?" he put a bookmark in the book and set it down.

"Can we play a game, big bro?" she asked innocently.

"Sounds like fun." He smiled at her and the two sat down at the table. Nanako brought out a deck of cards and the two started playing.

Yu and Nanako were on their fifth game of Go Fish when his phone rang. "I'll be right back Nanako. No looking at my cards. That's cheating."

"Okay." She said oh so innocently. Yu was pretty sure that by the time he got back, he would have no chance of winning this particular game.

Yu walked outside to take the phone call. He hadn't realized how late it was, they had been playing different games for hours now. "Hello?"

"Hey Senpai..."

"Kanji?" he asked recognizing the voice. "How are you?"

"I'm uh... I'm fine..." He didn't sound very convincing. "Actually I... I had a problem I was wanting your help with..."

"Sure. What's the problem?" he asked.

"I... well..." he could practically hear Kanji debating with himself during the silence. "There's this... there's this chick I like..."

"I thought you didn't like chicks?" He means well, but sometimes Yu can be a little blunt.

"YES, I LIKE CHICKS!!!" Yu held the phone away from his ear for his eardrum's sake. "At least... I like this one..."

"Is it Naoto?" Once again, very blunt.

"WHAT?!" He yelled again, "I mean uh... what gives you that idea?"

"It's very obvious Kanji. You're not subtle." He answered.

"Dude you have got to work on your people skills!" Kanji sighed, "But yeah... it's Naoto... I just... I've never had a crush on a chick before... do you think you could help me out?"

"Of course." He replied. "Come by tomorrow morning. We can talk things through."

"Thanks, senpai." He could hear the relief in Kanji's voice. "This really means a lot."

"Don't mention it." Yu smiled to himself. "See ya tomorrow."

"See ya." The two hung up.

Yu thought to himself. This was a big moment in Kanji and Naoto's lives. If this was going to work, he was going to need some help... He pulled his phone back out.

"Hey bro, meet at my house tomorrow morning, bring the bear."

"Good evening could I speak to- yes if you could put her on the line, thank you. Good evening, could you meet at my house tomorrow?"

"Hey, can you meet at my place tomorrow morning?"

"Hi, can you meet at my house tomorrow? No, it's not for a date..."

Once he was done on the phone, he went back inside to continue playing with Nanako. Tomorrow was going to be pretty busy...
