The next day at the guild-

(Lucy's POV)

I approached mirajane "where is masters office?" She points to the left and I walk to that direction I knock on the door "come in my child" and I step inside "what is it?" "Master I want to leave the guild for a few years" "what? give me valid reason" so I tell him about my pregnancy and plan and he nods "just promise me that you will come back. Your guild mark is now erased, I hope to see you again and good luck my child" "thank you master" and I hug him "anything for my brats" he starts to tear up but I walk out of his office and go strait to levy and Wendy we all head to job post and pick a quest requiring crossing an ocean "Mira we are taking this job" she just nods her head as we walk out "now for part two" we walk to my house and they help me pack my things. the next day we go shopping for baby clothes and necessities, levy gives me a pink and blue sets of baby clothing as a gift "because we don't know the gender" she smiled and Wendy gave me a few plush toys and blanket "I think your child will love these!" I smile as I imagine my child growing up. the next few days we talked and packed my bags "so today's the day" levy sighs I nod my head as I feel a tear running down my face "Lucy-san don't cry or I'll cry too.." Wendy says as she starts tearing up and levy starts too "we will miss you Lucy.." They both sob in unison "I will miss you more" I say and take them in a group hug, I break the hug as I hear my driver honking "I have to go" I take my bags and they help haul them into the car "You're coming back right?" Wendy asks in tears "I promise you that I will" I wave to them as I get in the backseat and the car starts moving to my new future.

(Levy's POV)

I watched as Lucy's car had gone out of sight as I held Wendy while she sobbed "we have to get ready" she looked up nodded to me. We reached a small cliff right above the beach "it is small enough that we won't die" I assure Wendy then we jumped into the salty ocean, water splashed all over me as I hit the water with a splash I surfaced for air and saw Wendy gasping for air too and we dragged our selfs to the rocky shore "Oww, these rocks are sharp" "yeah" I whine as I felt the rocks cut through my skin. We reach the sand and sat rubbing our bruises and wounds "I think that should do the trick" I say "why did we do this again" Wendy cried "because we have to look like it happened" she just grunted at her bruised arms and legs, I grab a few seaweed strands and wrap them around my foot and stick one in Wendy's hair, and we ran to the guild. "Anyone please help us" I cried as I opened the guild doors and everyone rushed to us Mira and Carla had rushed next to Wendy and Gajeel rushed to me "what happened to you guys!" panicked Mira as she settled us in a chair Wendy and I kept crying and weeping as Natsu entered the guild with happy "Guys we are back from our job! Huh? What's all this about" Natsu said as he pushed through the crowd and saw us sitting and weeping "Did something happen?" He asked worried and confused "L.....Lu-Lucy" I stammered "is.....de-ad" I managed out and let a loud sob "WHAT?! No she can't be, I was talking to her before I left for my job a week ago" he shook his head as his pupils widened with fear "How...?" He whispered, I take a long breath and wipe my tears "Wendy, Lucy and I were at a job that was at another city across the ocean there was no boats to take us there so we rented one and sailed to the city.... But the first night there was strong winds and currents and the boat broke....Wendy and I grabbed on some floating shipwreck pieces but Lucy was was being dragged away quickly and she couldn't grab onto anything" I sobbed and sniffed "we couldn't do anything the current was too strong to swim in and we watched as each wave crashed on Lucy as she tried to swim back until a big wave crashed over her and we couldn't-t see her anymore......." Wendy sobbed even more and I began crying again. "We couldn't find her body and the water was dark and deep, and we swam back here after days of searching and diving for her" I mumbled as the whole guild starts crying. Master Makarov steps out of his office and stands on a table "My children today we have learned That we lost a friend of us all" master teared up "tomorrow we will hold a funeral for Lucy heartfillia" he announced and left back to his office "No...." Natsu muttered as tears fell down his face and he ran out of the guild. 'Mission accomplished Lu-chan, good luck wherever you go' I thought to myself as I looked to our empty usual table.

(Third person POV)

Natsu ran out of the guild with tears streaming down his face as ran across town to Lucy's apartment and entered through her window and found the landlady casually sitting there "Hey kid what are you doing here, this is private property" "I'm a friend of the girl who used to live here..." "She's dead kid, now scram" Natsu got angry as hot tears rolled down "she's not DEAD!" and he left running to his house and he had a breakdown 'I can't believe she's gone, this is impossible this is a night mare! We only have been dating for 5 months... And the anniversary of the day she joined the guild is coming up' Natsu screamed in rage as more tears fell down 'I should have protected her, like I always said i would do' he collapsed on his hammock as memories flooded his mind '....and I never had the chance to say goodbye....'. The next day happy shook Natsu awake "Natsu, everyone is waiting for you to go to the funeral" happy sniffed "leave me alone I'm not going!" "Natsuu?..." Then the blue exceed flew away to the rest of the guild "he said that he is not coming..." Happy sniffled "geez what softy" mumbled Lissanna under her breath "Eh? He won't come to his best friends funeral? That's low" said Gray "let's just leave him alone for a while, he must have got it rough....I mean he and Lucy were really close" said mirajane as she lead the guild to the church. At the funeral they each made a little speech to Lucy's grave, and then everyone left home except for gray, Ezra, happy and Wendy "Lucy......" Whispered gray as a single tear fell down his cheek, Erza put an arm on his shoulder as she bent her head down and silently cried then everyone followed, they linked hands and walked out of the graveyard away from Lucy's grave.

At sundown, Natsu shuffled out of his house and to the graveyard, he reached her grave and knelt down on one knee "my Luce....." "I'm sorry for not protecting you, I'm sorry for everything wrong I did to you but why did you leave so soon? I never got to tell you that I love you....." He smiled at her grave and placed his hand on the tombstone and leaned his forehead on it "it's always better when we are together" he softly whispered and left.

A few months later (Lucy's POV)

I continued my journey across Fiore I have visited the blooming capital, and have stayed at my cousin Michelle Lobster for a few days, I have told her about my pregnancy and she was quiet excited and she showered me with gifts. I have visited tons of towns until I came across a beautiful small town 4 1/2 hours away from magnolia and I instantly fell in love. The city was breathtaking and it felt like walking into some painting, I decided to live in it and I found a job at a local restaurant as a waitress. I have lived in a small motel for the first week and then moved in a spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bath, I was 2 month pregnant back then but I continued working and the pay was really good. I have worked at a small restaurant and I have made many friends, my co-worker Maddy and I had became best friends I simply adore her almost as much as Levy we have lots of common interests and she helped me finish my novel and successfully publish it under the name "Lu Heart" so my cover wouldn't be blown, Maddy's father owns the restaurant and her whole family treats me as a sibling I loved feeling of fitting in and being cared about. I sigh at the clock as my lunch break was over, I missed going on jobs with Natsu and happy I missed reading and discussing books with Levy and I loved the everyday drama in FairyTail. I rub my almost six month belly as I went back to my job, boss had transferred me to seating duty because of my stomach "How are you today?" Maddy asks as she cleaned up some tables "Same as yesterday" I reply "Three more months huh?" I nod and sigh slightly "Don't worry I'll be there with you" Maddy smiles "Thanks" and we go back to our tasks.
