Bree's pov.
I'm still having a hard time believing that I'm Aiden's girlfriend now. I told Jackson and he was really happy that I was finally moving on.

I put on a pair of ripped jeans and a designer crop top. I'm not the girl who goes all chic on her first date. I put on some make up and brush my hair.

I take my wallet and phone before walking out of my room. Aiden would be here any moment. It was 5:28pm already.

The door bell goes off and I open the door. Aiden. He just looked at me with a smile.

"You look beautiful baby doll, " he says making me blush. We say our goodbyes to Maria and Brad.

I get into the passenger seat of the car while Aiden takes the driver seat.

"So where are you taking me?" I ask him.

"It is a surprise, " he says and leans over to kiss me. It was a short yet sweet kiss.

Aiden starts driving with a smile on his face. I start going through the music he had and play sleeping with sirens. It's one of my favourite bands.

I close my eyes as Jared comes to my mind. It seems so unfair to Aiden cause I still think about Jared.

"Are you alright? " I hear Aiden ask.

"Yeah, " I say with a smile which he returns. He stops at a place I didn't recognise.

"Come on princess, " he says taking my hand. Princess. Only Jared used to call me that.

I push the thoughts away and get out of the car. Aiden's wraps one arm around my waist as we walk.

"Go carting? " I ask him raising my eyebrows. I smile at the idea.

"Yeah, " he says giving me his best smile. I haven't done this in a while since.......stop there. Stop fucking thinking about Jared.

"Thank you so much Aiden. I really enjoyed it, " I say with a smile as we get out of the place.

"Don't thank me baby doll, " he says and turns to face me. He kisses me and I kiss him back.

He breaks our kiss and gets to the drivers seat while I get into the passenger seat.

"Do you like Chinese food?" Aiden asks as he starts the car and I nod smiling.

He stops at a Chinese take away. "I'll be right back, " he says after asking me what I would like to eat.

He comes with our food and starts driving again.

"Where are we going ?" I ask him.

"The beach, " he says with a smile. I nod with a smile and look outside the window.

"What's bothering you? " Aiden asks me. I couldn't tell him he reminds me of Jared.

"Nothing, " I lie and he nods but he looked like he was not convinced by my answer.

I felt so horrible all of a sudden. Why was I even thinking about Jared with Aiden next to me?

Aiden stops the car and I look around . I realise that we were no where near the beach.

I look over to Aiden with confusion. He cups my face forcing me to look into his eyes.

"Just tell me what's bothering you. ", he asks me with pleading eyes boring into mine.

"It's nothing Aiden. I'm just having an head ache, " I lie and look away.

"You're a bad lair," he says .

"I.....I don't want to talk about it. ", I say.

"Is it Jared? " he asks me and I look at him. I don't answer.

"I...I'm sorry Aiden. I...I'm trying to make things right . I haven't been in a relationship since he left and it's so not fair to you. I feel like I ruining everything, " I say as tears roll down my eyes and he sighs.

"Look at me Bree, " he says forcing me to look at him.

"Stop feeling guilty. I'm really fine with you thinking about Jared and I don't expect you to get over all of your past at once, " he says with a small smile.

"Thank you, " I say wiping my tears. He doesn't answer and kisses me and caresses my cheek.

We break our kiss when we finally got breathless. He leans his forehead against mine and kisses the tip of my nose.

"Everything is going to be fine baby doll, " he says and I nod. He gives me one last kiss before starting the car.

I was happy that he understood. He stops at the beach. I unbuckle myself and get out of the car. Aiden comes up with the food and a blanket .

He smiles at me as we walk to a place where there was barely anyone. He puts the blanket and sits down.

"What? Come on sit, " he says giving me an award winning smile.

"Why do you have to be so perfect? " I ask sitting down next to him.

"I'm not even close to perfect Bree. It's how you see me, " he says pulling me closer.

This time it was me who kissed. "I really like you Aiden, " I say in between kisses.

"I like you too, " he replies and deepens the kiss.

"I don't think a make out session on the beach is a good idea, " Aiden says with a smirk. I blush hard and dig my head into his chest.

"You look so adorable when you blush, " he says making me blush harder.

We then have our food in silence. It was really pleasant. Aiden didn't say anything either. We finish our food and Aiden lays down.

"Thank you Aiden, " I say and turn to look at him.

"For what?" he asks me sitting up.

"For everything. You're the reason I'm smiling Aiden..... You've helped me get back to who I was, " I say smiling.

He pulls me closer and I place my head on his chest. "You know what, I'm really thankful to Ricky for throwing that bet, " he says.

"Me too. That night on spring dance he told me something, " I say and he looks at me.

"What?" he asks me.

"He fell for Rachel, " I state and gives me a surprised look.

"He's trying really hard to make her believe he changed, " I tell him.

"I've got to admit , he's been really good these days. He changed for her and that's really something to appreciate, " he says with a smile.

He wraps his arm around me and just stares at me. He pulls me into a kiss. A short yet sweet kiss.

"I need to drop you home. It's late already, " he says as we get off the blanket.

This day turned out to be better than I thought.
