Theo is roughly 5'6 and is relatively skinny, mainly from living in a poor district for most of his life where food is difficult to come by. His skin is pale with pink undertones, though he is able to tan, and normally does during the summer months. He has freckles scattered around both his face and his body. He also has a permanent burn mark on his left leg from a trap from the games. His eyes are round, a bright blue color, and they have slight bags under them. His nose can be described as a "button-nose", being both small and upturned slightly. His lips are fairly average sized, though his top lip is slightly bigger. His hair is on the short side, and is ~fluffy~. It is also a dull red-orange color, with slight hints of brown.

PERSONALITY

Before the games, Theo was a reserved and anxious boy. He worried all the time about if any of his family would be pulled into the games, and whether they would be able to make it or not. He also worried about living in one of the most rebellious districts, used to seeing executions happening on the street by the peacekeepers. He had even been hit by one before. After the games, he became even more anxious. He would jump at the slightest noise and could almost always be found backed against a wall, just to make sure no one was sneaking up on him. He would also never talk about the Capitol or the President, afraid of what they might do to his family. His personality really changed at 17, when his family was killed in a bombing from the capitol. After that incident, he started to become more vocal about his distaste for the government, not having anything else to lose except for his own life, but he really didn't care. Now, at 19, he is known for speaking against the Capitol, the only reason he hasn't been killed yet is because sponsors still like him and he is still seen as a cute, innocent child who just misses his family.

STRENGTHS

-SURVIVAL; He is intelligent when it comes to survival. He knows different types of food that you can and can't eat, how to avoid being seen, and things like that.
-WRITING; He is a talented writer, though he doesn't like to let people see his writing. He writes mainly to get his anger out.
-SELFLESS; He doesn't care much about himself, and puts the rebellion and other people first, especially since he doesn't have anything to lose.

WEAKNESSES

-STRENGTH; Physically, he isn't very strong. He can't fight very well unless it's a sneak attack and the other person can't really fight back.
-CARELESS; He is a bit careless when it comes to what he says and does since he has a "I don't have anything to lose so why should I care?" attitude.
-LOUD NOISES; Loud noises almost incapacitate him. Canons and bombs going off terrify him and will cause him to nearly go into total shut down, though he has found ways to try and power through.

BACKGROUND

Theo was born in District 8 as a twin. His parents were lower class, as were most families in his district. He and his sister would work after school to help their family make money, though it didn't do much. When he was 14, Theo's brother was called in the reaping, and in a moment of impulse, he volunteered, to the surprise and dismay of his family. He was able to win the games through hiding and outsmarting the other tributes, only killing one person, and that was the only other tribute left in the arena before he won. After he won, he was scarred, becoming jumpy and constantly worrying for his family's safety against the capitol. This all went out the window when he turned 17 and his family was killed in a bombing while he was away. He became rebellious and vocalized his grievances with the capitol. He would've been killed if it weren't for sponsors loving him and his child-like looks, making him seem innocent and like a little boy who just wanted his family back.

HOW THEY WON

He was only 14 when his younger brothers(12) name was called during the reaping. Theo was, of course, freaked out. His brother was young and weak, and he would surely die in the games, so what did Theo do? He volunteered. He wished he could take it back the moment he said those two words, but he couldn't. His family was against him volunteering but there was nothing they could do. Theo knew he wasn't strong and that he would never be able to win against the other competitors in a physical fight, so before the games, he decided to focus on what he could and couldn't eat in the arena, how to get clean water, and playing it up in the Capitol in order to get sponsors. When the games started, he avoided the cornucopia at all costs, sticking to the wooded areas. He was injured a couple times by different traps but he was able to heal himself and stay alive using gifts. He was, luckily, able to stay away from the other tributes for the majority of the games, till it was the end. Then, he killed the last tribute by strangling them, having snuck up on them from behind.

OTHER

He has a fear of loud noises due to the amount of bombings in his home district and losing his family to one.
