Y/N POV

I was with a huge group of people from different alliances. We were working on fighting the next boss and I saw Asuna but she was more serious.

Asuna: Lure him into the village. That's how we get the boss.

Y/N: Wait Wait Wait! You can't be serious, Asuna! If we do that, the boss will go after the villagers!

Asuna: Yes, that's the idea. And while the boss is busy killing NPCs, we can attack it, and kill it.

Y/N: *Low Demonic growl* NPCs are not just objects! They're different from rocks and trees! Look they're-

Asuna: You think they're alive? Really?

That stopped but shadows then covered my eyes.

Y/N: I thought you out of all people would understand why I'm against this...

I then summoned my two scythes, Veliona and the Burial Blade, making mostly everyone jump.

Asuna: What? Are you going to attack me for having a plan?

Y/N: I made it a strict rule for myself to keep my blades away from the blood of the innocent, so no. But I do have a boss to kill.

Klein: Dude! Would you listen to yourself?! Defeating a boss all on your own?! there's no way-

Y/N: Have you Already forgotten about Christmas Eve?

That hit Klein to shut up but I then heard a voice that shocked me.

Argo: I thought you said you'd stop doing reckless things.

I then looked at Argo who wasn't happy.

Y/N: Argo...

Argo: Did our promise mean nothing to you?

Y/N: Argo, please! Truly alive or not, I can't just allow a bunch of NPCs be slaughtered just so that we have a better chance of winning. This isn't reckless! You know I can handle this on my own. I was able to beat Nicholas the Renegade on my own, wasn't I?

Argo: Yeah, you were, but the last time you fought a boss in your own, what happened to me?

Y/N: A-Argo...

Argo then hugged me and I felt Bad as soon as she started crying a bit.

Argo: What if he does it again? Then what?

Y/N: Argo...I-

Argo: Please... Just Listen to what they have to say. I've been learning about what you've done recently... I know that you need a break from all the fighting so please, spend some time with me. After the boss fight, we spend some time together, like we used to in the real world, Okay?

Y/N: Alright... I'll listen to what they have to say, but if I don't like it, I'm fighting the boss on my own.

Klein: Y/N...*sighs* DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO A SINGLE WORD ARGO SAID?! SHE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO GO AND FIGHT THE BOSS ON YOUR OWN, DAMMIT!

Argo: At least someone gets it...

I then looked to the ground ashamed.

Asuna: I'm this game, they are just objects, and even if they are killed, they'll just respawn.

Y/N: I'm still not okay with this plan. There must be some kind of negotiation we can come to...

Asuna: No negotiations. I'm running this operation, okay? In case you forgot, I'm still second in command of the Knights of the Blood Oath. You'll obey my orders. Like it, or not.

Y/N: *Growls then GIF below* To Hell with your orders!

Klein: Y/N. Didn't you jus-

Y/N: Shut the Hell up Klein, this doesn't concern you. *looks at Asuna*I wonder what happened to the Asuna I met at the very beginning of this game? The one who was happy and giggly..

Asuna's Eyes widened and I walked out of the cave we were in, discussing the plans.

Asuna: Y/N GET BACK HERE!

Argo: I'll go get him.

I then took off running with my superhuman speed since nobody can outrun a Reaper. I then made my way towards the boss and I came across it, in its cave: the Cave Of Karkinos. I then walked into the cave and I saw Karkinos resting in the ground so I sent one of its eggs at it with the power of my Reaper arms (These are the arms that Death used to open chests and doors.

Y/N: *GIF below* Your time has come to an end. Don't worry, this is what nature planned for you.

Karkinos ran straight towards me but I rolled out of the way and it knocked one of its eggs out of the ground so I ran over to it and pushed it into Karkinos, knocking it to the ground and revealing its weak spot, but also causing one of its babies to appear but I quickly took care if it and did some damage to Karkinos with a teleport slash.

I then broke Burial Blade into its sword form and attacked its weak point quickly before allowing my Phantom form come out and deal some damage.

Karkinos then ran back into the middle of the cave and buried itself into the ground and sent vines at me so I dodged them and once he came out, I finally knocked him down one last time before unleashing my Reaper Form I then slashed its child in half before slashing at it some more before finally making a plus cut into its stomach, and throwing my scythe into its stomach, spinning while cutting its organs into little bits. My scythe then came flying out and I caught it before dismissing my Reaper Form.

Once I had finished it off, I left the cave and was about to walk back to the town that was on this floor when I was stopped by a figure.

???: *Kneels* My master...

Y/N: Rosaria. How are things on the upper floors?

Rosaria: Nothing out of the ordinary. No new monsters to speak of either. I failed to notice any Laughing Coffin members unfortunately. Had I found them, I would've slaughtered them as ordered...

Y/N: It's fine. Good work Rosaria. I appreciate your help.

Rosaria: Your words humble me master. I shall return back.

Y/N: Alright. Thank you Rosaria.

Rosaria nodded her head before using her special ability to teleport without a teleport crystal and I walked back into town and relaxed under a tree. While I was relaxing, I noticed Asuna was standing above me.

Asuna: So~. Did you take care of the boss? Or are you waiting for the rest of us and willing to deal with the deaths of a few NPCs?

I then summoned the Masher of Karkinos which was the last attacking bonus, shocking Asuna.

Y/N: If you want it, you can have it.

Asuna: *Growls* YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE! DO YOU NOT CARE FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY?!

Y/N: To be honest, no. No I don't, I care more about Ago's safety than I care about my safety...

Asuna: DO YOU REALIZE HOW RECKLESS YOU ARE?!

Y/N: For Christ's sake. Stop yelling and enjoy the beautiful weather. It's not something you're going to be able to see everyday here.

Asuna was about to yell me but she then looked at the sky and saw what I meant.

Asuna: W-Wow...

Y/N: I'm sorry for the way I acted, but you wouldn't understand why I don't like the deaths of NPCs.

Asuna: Well you can tell me.

Y/N: You still wouldn't understand. It's just better to leave it at that I just don't like seeing NPCs dying... How's Argo? Did... Did she cry when I left?

Asuna: No... but she's very disappointed in you.

Y/N: *sighs* I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I can only hope she doesn't stay that way... but for now, enjoy the nice weather, unless you want to yell at me more...

Asuna: *Annoyed grunt but sighs* Fine. I'll relax.

Asuna then laid down and enjoyed the sunlight and I closed my eyes and decided to take a nap, but it was then interrupted by another girl.

Argo: Y/N?

I then opened my eyes and saw Argo but she looked sad.

Y/N: Oh.... Hey Argo. I want to apologize for the way I acted.

Argo: No... It's fine. I understand why you were against the plan and I know you could've handled the boss all by yourself and you did. I see that you're relaxing. You wouldn't mind if I join you and Asuna, do you?

Y/N: No, not at all.

Argo: Thank you.

Y/N: But on one condition.

Argo: W-Which is?

Y/N: *smiles* you have to remove your hood. At least until the sun goes down...

Argo blushed and sighed before hesitantly reaching for her hood and she then removed it, making me smile.

Y/N: There's the Argo I know.

Argo: *blushes* S-Shut up. You know I don't like having my hood down...

Y/N: I know.

Argo then laid down right next to me and I looked over at Asuna and saw that she had passed out. I smiled before going to close my eyes but then Argo spoke again.

Argo: Y/N?

Y/N: Yes?

Argo: You Remember that night, right? The one where I... You know... died?

Y/N: Yeah...

Argo: Thank you... for that, but I have another question.

Y/N: Yes?

Argo: I know I might sound pushy but...how are you feeling...about Sachi?

Y/N: *sighs* I still feel sad about it but I'm getting better. I know you want to ask.

Argo: So~?

Y/N: I'm willing if you're still willing to date.

Argo: Of course I'm willing to date you. I wouldn't have brought it up if I wasn't.

Y/N: Come a little bit closer, Okay?

Argo did as I asked her and I hugged her and I kissed her on the lips and she kissed back. She then laid down on my chest and smiled.

Argo: I love you.

Y/N: I love you too.

We then closed our eyes and enjoyed the rest of the day.
