"Hey." I said when Slick opened his eyes.
"Hi..." He said with a small smile.
"How are you feeling?" I asked picking up my head from the bed were it was resting.
"Better. What time is it?" He asked. I turned and looked at the clock hanging on the wall.
"Five a.m." I said.
"And your awake?" He asked. I managed a smile.
"Yeah. Peachy." He cracked his own smile.
"I'm going I get up. Shower and stuff." He said.
"Okay." I helped him up. He had an old t shirt on and his swim trunks still on.
"I'll get you some clothes from Wally." I said. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and my own went around his waist and together I brought him to the bathroom. "Just stay here. I'll get the clothes."
"Okay." I left him standing in the doorway.
"Wally. Got any spare clothes for Slick?" I walked into the his room and shook him awake.
"Umm. Yeah." He said sitting up. He go up, decked out in his pjs and tossed me a shirt and basket ball shorts.
"Thanks." I shot him a smile.
"Yup." I ran off back to the bathroom I left Slick at. The door was closed, with the sound of running water seeped through the crack on the bottom.
"Slick." I said knocking on the door. There was no reply. Probably couldn't hear me over the water. I cracked open the door. "I'm throwing clothes in."
"K." He said. I tossed he clothes onto the counter and closed the door again.
I flicked on the tv, but there was no point because I passed out as soon as my face touched the throw pillow.
I couldn't breath. I felt like I was drowning. I gasped for breath, but a water like substance filled my lungs. My tried to focus on my surroundings. Where was I? Was Cole okay? I could make out figures wearing white coats, which reminded me of lad coats. I couldn't focus, fear gripped my heart, refusing to release. But the water lowered. And I could stick my head above the water. Relived I took in deep fast breaths. I coughed up the water in my lungs.
"Project 626 you have failed this test." Test? The memories flooded into my skull. A man, scientists, and power. It was foggy, but there. The water drained completely. Gas poured from the draining holes instead.
"What's going on!" I shouted before coughing a fit, and finally passing out.
"Rose!" I shot up with super speed. "it's okay... You weren't waking up for some time. Got us worried." Superboy said.
