some years are for growing, but this one, this one is for blooming
A MONTH LATER, THE SCHOOL year was over, and it was time for everyone to start going home. Well, except the Saltzman twins because it is their home. But, since Millie is still Liv's daughter, she is going back home with her, but she wants Hope to go with her, to meet everyone she holds dear to her heart. And of course, the twins were coming along but for only a week.
The pretty duo has been dating for a month and three days now, and they continue to be going strong, getting better each day. They never run out of things to talk about, to compliment each other about, and they are always there for one another. Of course, they have a few arguments here and there, because no one is perfect, but they always get over it by talking it over as partners.
Liv came to pick up her dear sweet daughter, smiling instantly and pulling her daughter into a tight hug, twirling her around in the air.
Caroline, Alaric, and the twins were there as well, watching with smiles on their faces as mother and daughter reunite.
Liv let go of her daughter and smiled her at the parents of the twins, and then her eyes latched onto Hope. "Oh, sweetie!" She rushed towards the auburn haired girl and pulled her into a tight hug. "You have made my girl very happy, and I couldn't be more grateful." She pulled back just to press a kiss to the tribrids forehead. "How have you been?"
Hope smiled up at the blonde vampire. "Good. Amazing, even." She licked her lips as she glanced at her wonderful girlfriend.
Liv looked between them and smiled, her eyes sparkling. She has found her soulmate just like her daughter has, and isn't that lovely!
Hope then frowned, "uh... you don't mind that I'm tagging along?" She nervously flitted her eyes between the two zombies.
Liv shook her head, "of course not. I'm the one that suggested it." She then smiled up at Caroline and Alaric, "and I'm happy we came to an agreement about the twins visiting for a week."
Caroline smiled, blue eyes sparkly. "I want my daughters happy. All of them. And the twins love Millie and begged to visit."
The twins were grinning widely, practically shaking in their spots. "We are so excited to leave Mystic Falls for a little while!"
Liv smiled, walked over to them, and pulled them into a hug. She squealed and started to jump excitedly with them.
Alaric shared an amused look with Caroline, "they act like we aren't going on a cruise for a whole two weeks when they get back."
"Oh, one on, daddy, that is different," Lizzie rolled her eyes as she turned and grabbed Millie by her hand to pull her against her. "This week, we get to share with our dearest sister and see where she was raised."
Josie shook her head and chuckled at her sister.
Millie giggled and stood up on her tippy toes to press a quick kiss to her sisters cheek before bouncing over to Alaric and Caroline, pulling them both into a tight hug. She pulled back just to only pull Caroline back to her. "I'll miss you... mom. I love you."
Caroline sniffed and wiped away a tear that escaped her eye. "I love you too, sweetie. I am so happy and relieved that you came back into my life, that you're alive and well. And that you found your soulmate in Hope. It's everything I could wish for."
Millie smiled up at her, tears gathering in her eyes. "I'll be back for the next school year."
Caroline smiled and ran a gentle hand across Millie's cheek. "See you soon, darling."
And with that, the Moore girls left the building with Hope Mikaelson and the Gemini twins following them.
MILLIE SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT her mother was a little liar and had some sort of surprise waiting for them at the apartment. She just didn't expect Ravi, Clive, Peyton, and a mystery guy that must be Lowell.
There was a bunch of pink balloons and a banner that said 'Welcome Home Millie', and there was even a pretty pink cake that was Barbie theme.
"Surprise!" Ravi shouted and jumped up and down while clapping his hands. He stopped his jumping only to run over and sweep Millie off of her feet and twirl her around. "Blondie is back!" He exclaimed and set her back down, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Welcome back, kiddo."
Millie giggled and wrapped her arms around his waist for a hug. "Missed you too, Ravi."
"Aw, my little niece is grown up!" Peyton shouted and ran towards Millie, hugging her tightly.
Lizzie and Josie shared a soft look, happy that their sister had this many people standing in her corner, loving her.
"Well, well, well, isn't it miss lil trouble," Clive grinned as he made his way over to Millie, rubbing the top of her head which he knows annoys her. He chuckled when she pouted and slapped his hand away. "Come here," he opened up his arms and smiled when she buried her face into his chest. "Miss having you around bothering me at the office and almost ruining crime scenes."
Millie grinned, pulled back to stare up at him, mock gasping and clasping a hand to her chest. "Me? Ruin a crime scene? Never." She giggled when he just rolled his eyes.
Liv cleared her throat and gently reached her to grab her daughter's hand, moving her over to the mystery guy. "Millie... this is Lowell. My boyfriend. Lowell, this is my daughter, Millie."
Millie smiled widely, shocking the guy when she pulled him down for a hug. "You take care of my mother or else." She heard him gulp and she giggled, pulling back to clap him on the shoulder. She turned to her mother, grinning, "I like this one."
Liv gave her a look before shaking her head and laughing softly. "Good. I think I might keep him."
Millie smiled genuinely, happy for her mother. She has always struggled in the dating pool, especially since turning into a zombie. It was about time she found someone for her.
Turning around, she turned around and gestured towards her sisters and Hope. "Guys... this is Lizzie and Josie, my younger sisters."
Lizzie smiled and waved, "we're twins."
"Fraternal," Josie added.
"Obviously," Lizzie continued and they locked arms together and tilted their heads in sync.
Ravi shivered, "creeeepy," he sing-sung which made the three sisters laugh.
Clive rose a brow, "she this one must be Hope, right?"
At the tone he used, Hope straightened her shoulders and gave a nervous smile towards the older black man. "Uh, hi."
Clive tilted his head and stared. "You better cherish our girl."
The tribrid's eyes couldn't help but slide over to stare at the blonde who was giving her a wide smile and an encouraging thumbs up. She softly smiled in return and slid her eyes back over to Clive. "Always and forever."
