you are my heaven on earth

ITS BEEN A FEW days since Liv had left them; she had to get back to work. Millie has been happier — if that's even possible — since Liv's arrival. She had gotten much closer to Caroline and the twins after they all leaned what Caroline had to go through during her pregnancy with her. And not only that, Hope and her are almost inseparable.

The school spirit was picking up because there was going to be a talent show. They were all going to be grouped; the werewolves, the witches, the vampires. But, seeing as Millie wanted to enter but there was no zombie group, she ended up teaming with the witches to be with her sisters.

Right now, Millie was in Hope's room, laying on her bed, watching as Hope painted. She was crocheting a shirt for Lizzie seeing as she saw the one Millie was wearing the day before. It going to come out as a diamond shape crop-top that is light blue and pink.

Hope glanced over at the blonde, her heart feeling full at the sight of the girl on her bed doing something out of the kindness of her heart. The two of them couldn't be more opposite, but they clicked so easily. Now that the blonde zombie is in her life, she couldn't imagine a life without her. She wants to make sure to cherish all the moments, especially small ones like this. And that's why she's painting her.

MILLIE WAS WATCHING Hope throw dodgeballs at the wall, and Jed was dribbling a basketball and throwing it in the hoop. They seem to be revving up, and the small blonde doesn't know why, she just enjoyed the view of Hope Mikaelson in shorts and a tank top.

Jed was panting and smiling widely as he turned to face the small blonde, basketball in hand. "I just got an amazing idea." He rose his brows and then tilted his head toward the basketball hoop.

The zombie's eyes widened. "No, no, no." She shook her head. "I am totally not an athletic person."

He tilted his head like a puppy. "Not even the brain you ate?"

She pursed her lips and shook her head. "No. But, the person used to be real big on veggies and smoothies. Doesn't seem go eat or drink anything else."

He hummed and then grinned. "Okay, but like..."

He told her his new plan, and she was instantly shaking her head. "Okay, you may be a werewolf, but I am not going to let you throw me up towards the ceiling in hopes I will latch onto the basketball hoop."

"But it'll be fun!" He practically whined. She giggled at his cuteness, but was still shaking her head. "Oh, come one, please!" He jumped at her and she squealed loudly, running around him, but he caught her with one of his arms, and started going in a circle. Her legs kicked out and her hair blew in her face, and she was laughing loudly. He slowly came to a stop and placed her back down on her feet, both of them laughing and out of breath as they fell to the floor in heaps.

Hope smiled fondly and shook her head. "You guys are idiots." She walked towards them, eyes twinkling down at Millie, the blonde looking up at her with a full blown smile. "Dizzy?"

The blonde nodded her head. "Yup." She began giggling again, turning her head to look at Jed who was softly laughing with his eyes closed and his hands over his stomach. "Tien? You good over there?"

He hummed. "Yeah. Just relaxing."

Hope held her hand down to Millie, pulling the girl up to her feet once their hands latched. She smiled and gently swept a piece of hair behind Millie's ear. "I was thinking... we should do a talent."

Millie was caught off guard that she started coughing on her own spit. "Huh?"

Hope noticeably swallowed thickly and nodded. "I never wanted to before 'cause I would have had to do it alone. But now I have you." She boldly reached out to grip Millie's hand. "And we make up our own faction. The tribrid and zombie."

Millie wanted to say yes. She really wanted to. But, she already agreed to be a part of the witch fraction. "Hope, I— I love the idea, but—"

Hope frowned, removing her hand. "You don't want to."

"No, no, it's not that!" Millie softly exclaimed, shaking her head, moving forwards as Hope moved to leave. She grabbed the tribrids hands, keeping her firmly in place. "I already agreed to join the witches."

Hope furrowed her brows. "But you aren't a witch." Her blue eyes widened at how that sounded. "Not that that's bad or anything. Being a zombie is cool. Well... I assume so, maybe not so much with the eating brains thing. But—"

Millie giggled, cutting the rambling tribrid off, "maybe... I will speak to the twins and see what they might think about you and I making our own team. Seeing as we're so unique and all."

Hope smiled. "Weirdos stick together."

Jed looked over at them from where he laid on the floor, a small smile on his face. He then furrowed his brows and looked up at the ceiling; he wants what they have. But everyone thinks he's a douchebag except for Millie and now Hope.

Ever since Millie showed up at the school, she has went out of her way to bring him snacks when he's working out or after he shifts. Soon enough, she somehow found out his favorite foods and favorite color, and then she would go to the wolf dungeon to talk to him and the others wolves. They became friends pretty quickly. He wouldn't know what to do if he didn't have her in his life.

MILLIE WALKED INTO her shared room with the twins, wringing her hands together, chewing on her bottom lip until it was chapped. She was nervous on how they were going to react to her possibly being in the taken show with Hope instead of them.

"What's wrong?" Josie immediately asked once she spotted the zombie. "You get the face Lizzie has when she is about to explode. What is it?"

Millie frowned at her wording, but pursed her lips. Things were finally settling between the trio, so she didn't want to cause more problems. "Where Liz?"

"Here!" Lizzie shouted, coming out of the closet with an armful of clothes. "Charlie's costume was burnt to a crisp somehow and now i'm trying to remake the outfit for them with something in my closet, but—"

"I have something to ask you both?" Millie interrupted, chest tightening with anxiety. She saw both of their attention on her and she gulped. "And it's okay if you say no, I just thought it would be cool and fun for me and Hope to do."

Lizzie furrowed her brows, hands on hips. "For you and Hope to do what?"

Millie closed her eyes and counted to five in her head. "Would it be okay if Hope and I made our own team for the talent show seeing as we are high unique creatures. Well... not unique on my count, but you know what I mean."

Lizzie sucked in a breath, and Josie's eyes were wide as she looked between her sisters. "Who's idea was this?" The taller blonde simply asked.

"Hope's. But she forgot that I agree to do it with you guys. I can... I can go tell her no." She frowned, fiddling with the little charms on her bracelet.

Lizzie closed her eyes and sighed softly. "No, no. Don't do that." She ran a hand through her hair. "We can use your outfit for Charlie, they'll love it. We can just reshape it to fit their figure." She smiled and walked toward her sister, pulling her into a tight hug. "I was really excited for the three of us to sing and dance together. But, I think it would be cool for you and Hope to do your own thing. Plus, it would be a good blackmail moment for Hope. I'm gonna be sure to record the whole thing." She grinned and skipped out of the room.

Millie stood there, flabbergasted with the whole scenario.

Josie sat on her bed, smiling at the blonde. "You should go tell Hope the good news!"

Millie grinned and skipped out of the room in a similar fashion as Lizzie.

MILLIE SLOWLY WALKED into Hope's room where the auburn haired girl was humming and looking at a pile of clothes on her bed. She grinned and began tippy-toeing in a play of startling the girl.

But—

Hope grinned, but kept her back to the zombie. She waited until the girl was within reach and turned around, hybrid face on display as she growled.

The blonde squeaked in surprise, jumping in her spot, blonde hair flying everywhere. "Crap!" She exclaimed, hands going to her chest even though her heart rate didn't change. That's one of the prices to being a zombie; heart rate is so slow that it's almost not there. "That's not fair!" She said, swiping her hand at Hope who was giggling.

"That was so funny though," Hope said in between giggles.

The blonde nodded, calming down. "You're right, it was funny."

Hope smiled, bathing in the sound of her laughter. And then she cleared her throat, glancing at the clothes on her bed before making eye contact with the tiny blonde. "So...?"

Millie grinned and reached forward, grabbing the girls hands as she began bouncing on her tippy-toes. "We can do a talent!"

Hope let out a breath of relief and pulled her into a hug. She lowered her nose into the crook of her neck and breathed in her scent, arms wrapping around her waist. She feels pathetic for wanting to do a stupid talent which is something she's never done at the school, but there is something about Millie that makes her want to live her life.

Pulling back, Hope smiled widely. "Okay, so I have many options for outfits which I stole from storage and a couple song options that I have heard you listening to within the past few days...."

Millie grinned, her bright blue eyes taking in all the options. "Oh, this is going to be so much fun!"

AS NIGHT ROLLED in, everyone was gathered in the main hall to watch the talent show.

The vampires went first; started out with Kaleb on the piano singing a song. His voice was like an angel and Millie was already clapping for him which had him winking at her.

Then boom, the beat hit and two vampires slid onto the dance floor as Kaleb jumped off of the piano bench and ripped off his cardigan. Kaleb was still singing as the vampire group started break dancing, Mg and a boy named Zach did a backflip.

"Get into it Kaleb!" Millie shouted, jumping up and down in excitement. From what she has heard, the vampires usually do protests or sit in silence but never actually participate in the actual talent part. "This is amazing! Good backflip Mg!"

As their act came to an end, Mg and Kaleb reached off of the stage to give Millie high-fives.

"Good job, guys!" She compliment, sending them a wink.

And when the next act was called onto the stage, Millie whistled and shouted even louder when her sisters stepped onto the stage into her spotlight. "That's my sisters! That's my sisters!"

Hope giggled beside Millie, shaking her head fondly at her. "You're adorable, you know that?"

Millie didn't seem to hear her as she was still shouting and jumping up and down for her sisters.

The twins started singing Take A Hint from the show Victorious that they have been watching for the past week. The other witches did their back ground dances while showing displays of magic. I.e floating and having glitter shoot around them, displaying Lizzie and Josie's name above them in a bright neon pink color.

It was amazing.

And then it was time for Millie and Hope's turn.

They made their way backstage to get ready and then made their ways on opposite sides of the stage.

Taking in a deep breath, Millie looked across the stage at Hope, the two of them sharing a heated look. The tiny zombie smiled and nodded.

They walked on stage in-sync and on beat to their song. It was a song to the first movie they watched together; Adventures in Babysitting.

They didn't do any complicated dance moves, but they wore similar leather outfits with crimped hair, some glittery eye makeup, and heeled combat boots. It was unlike Millie to wear something like this, but it didn't feel wrong, if anything it made her feel powerful.

By the end of the song, everyone was screaming, clapping, and whistling.

Hope and Millie, though? They only had eyes on one another.
