"Dad is going to kill you," Celia told Evie once they were back in the car this time with the twins as well as Evie just couldn't find it in her to say no to Ben about taking them in. "Well he does always complain about being in a house full of just girls," Evie told Celia who just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah but you're adopting two more kids and didn't even talk to him about it," Dizzy told Evie who just sighed as she knew that was true. Carlos was going to be furious, but she just couldn't look at the two kids and say no.

"It'll be fine. He'll get over it. Now come on we're home now let's go. Oh and I want all four of you to come in and go straight to your rooms okay. Maybe he won't notice," Evie told the four kids as she parked the car and unbuckled Mal from her car seat.

"Dad is still going to kill you," Celia told Evie as they quickly went inside and went to their rooms. The boys following after Celia and Dizzy as they didn't know where to go yet.

"Hey you're back finally. I thought you were just going to get the girls. Where are they by the way?" Carlos told Evie who just laughed nervously as she handed Mal to him.

"Oh you know preteens. Anyway come on let's go watch some tv and relax," Evie told Carlos hoping to keep him distracted enough to where he wouldn't ask too many questions.

Before Carlos could respond though the twins came out as they didn't have a room yet and were curious on where they were supposed to be staying.

"Where are we supposed to sleep?" Squeaky and Squirmy asked, causing Carlos to quickly look up and glare at Evie as he knew she was hiding things from him and he wanted to know what was going on.

"Evie, why are the twins here right now?" Carlos asked as he placed Mal down and she crawled away with the twins quickly following as they could tell Evie and Carlos needed time to talk alone. Once the kids left Evie looked down nervously as she knew that Carlos was upset. "Umm okay so um. You see um," Evie stumbled out as she couldn't seem to get any words out.

Carlos just sighed as he looked at the scared twins who were slowly following after Mal to her nursery and then back at Evie who was still looking down and trying to get her words out. "Let me guess you adopted the twins without asking me first! Evie you can't just adopt kids without asking me too," Carlos cried out to Evie as he wasn't stupid and he knew his fiance.

Evie always had a soft spot for people, especially children. It's what made her a huge target back on the Isle, but Evie didn't care. She loved helping people no matter what it's one of the reasons Carlos loves her so much.

"You're mad at me, I can tell. I know I messed up. I should have talked to you before about it, but you know children are my weakness. I just couldn't help it. I'm really sorry Carlos, please forgive me. I just know the twins and how shy and vulnerable they are. And Ben said if we didn't take them in they would get put in foster care and I just know they couldn't handle that. I just wanted to protect them. I'm so sorry again Carlos! And I promise no more kids for now on 5 is the limit I promise," Evie cried out to her fiance as she hated upsetting people, especially the people she loved, but she just couldn't let the twins get forced into the home of some stranger. They were very vulnerable and shy. They would never survive in a home with a bunch of strangers.

Evie's rambling was interrupted when she felt a comforting and warm pair of arms embrace her and bring her close, making Evie smile as she melted into them knowing right away who it was.

"Evie it's okay. I understand why you did that. I know you have a soft spot for people and especially children. Your kindness and your loving heart is one of the reasons that I love you so much. I love how much you care about people. I'm not mad at you. I just would prefer to be involved in the decisions, especially such a life changing decision like this and I agree 5 kids is the limit," Carlos told Evie who just laughed a little as she felt better knowing that Carlos wasn't mad at her.

"Aw and that's why I love you too. And of course I promise no more life changing decisions without asking you first. I'll never do that again and I promise yet again no more kids. 5 kids is definitely our limit," Evie told Carlos who smiled as he hugged her closer.

"Okay good well now that we've settled that, let's get the boys and get them settled in," Carlos told Evie who smiled before getting sad again as some doubt hit her. "Yeah we definitely should, but you're sure that you're not mad at me," Evie told Carlos who smiled as he kissed her.

"I'm sure I mean yes I was upset at first that you didn't ask me first, but I think they'll make a great addition to this family," Carlos told Evie causing her to blush. "Good and I think they will too. I love you and thanks for not being mad at me," Evie told Carlos who put his arm around her again.

"I love you too and how can I be mad at you. Like you said you just like helping people. I can't be mad at you for that. Besides, I finally get to have sons and not be the only boy anymore," Carlos told Evie excitedly, making her laugh as she loved seeing Carlos happy.

"I knew you would be excited about that," Evie told Carlos who smiled. "Yeah and wow 5 kids now," Carlos told Evie who laughed as she nodded. "I know we're insane!" Evie told Carlos who laughed with her.

"Yeah we are but we can handle this," Carlos told Evie who smiled again as she was about to agree when there was a loud crash followed by wailing and four screams making the two young parents quickly drop everything as they went running after the loud sound as they recognized that wail of pain anywhere it was Mal's.
