TW: talks of racism, denial
Hailey needed this girls trip. Kyle had warned her that their girl trips get a little crazy but Hailey was all in for this. Thankfully Melissa didn't have any modeling work lined up and was able to watch the kids. Obviously Justin would help when he wasn't in the studio working on new music. Hailey was sad when they eloped but was glad that they had planned a second wedding for family and friends. She knew they were also in talks of having their own documentary with YouTube. Hailey was all for it.
Hailey knew the amount of hate Melissa still got on a daily basis because fans of Jelena wanted Justin and Selena to get married. They thought they were "goals." But little did they know they were further from that. That relationship was toxic and she was glad that Justin got out of that relationship when he did and found her sister. Hailey felt bad for her sister though because it seemed like no matter what people judged her as a person and her relationship with Justin. She was proud of Melissa for finally not giving a shit what others thought.
Hailey was getting ready to go meet Dorit at her favorite spa as they were going to get Brazilian waxes and their nails painted for the girls trip. Then they were going to Dorit's choice of restaurant for lunch afterwards. This would be the first outing without the kids in forever for Hailey and she was actually excited about it.
*
"Hi baby," Dorit greeted the brunette as she got up to give her a hug.
"Hi," Hailey greeted the blonde with a smile and then greeted the front desk receptionist at the spa.
One thing that Chris always treated his wife to was a day at the spa. She always liked to switch up what self-care package she was getting that day. They were at the Bossa Spa and the receptionist at the Bossa Spa greeted them as he checked them in. They had decided to be in the same room to get their wax because they needed each other for the emotional support.
After they were done with their spa treatment, they had paid and tipped generously, leaving to go to a restaurant of Dorit's choice.
"So, how weird was that the other day that Lisa didn't remember you?" Dorit asked her.
"I'm not the only one who found it weird?" Hailey let out a sigh of relief.
"No, of course not!" Dorit shook her head. "Have you spoken to Kyle about this?"
"No," Hailey told her as she ate her lunch. "I honestly haven't really felt comfortable talking about it with Kyle for some reason. Like something's physically stopping me from telling her. It's the first time this has ever happened."
"I love Lisa but she can definitely be a bit much sometimes," Dorit confessed.
"So she's kind of always like that?" Hailey asked the blonde.
"No, not always. Sometimes she worse," she said with such a straight face that made Hailey and Dorit start laughing.
"Great," Hailey joked. "What have I gotten myself into with this girls trip?"
"Oh girl, you have no idea," Dorit joked but was also slightly serious as she drank her wine.
Dorit gave her some pointers on who to be careful with, who to warm up more up and what could possibly end up happening with drama on the trip when the cameras were done filming them.
*
Though Hailey and Chris had been married for ten years and she was used to him being gone a lot for filming or being in commercials or modeling, it didn't mean she missed him any less.
She was making herself a watermelon salad that included cucumber and feta cheese. For the kids she was making chicken tenderloins and rice for them. She tried to have them eat relatively healthy, but they were kids and sometimes they wanted fast food or sweets. Both Chris and Hailey tried to limit their sugar intake since they were so young.
Hailey had just fed Buzz and Dodger for their afternoon snack. It wasn't a lot, especially because Chris normally only liked to feed them for breakfast and dinner but she always felt bad for them when she was on her own and the people ate but not the dogs.
She was jumping on the trampoline in their backyard with the kids while Aurora was sitting on it. They made sure not to hit her and she liked the bounciness and clapped her hands.
"Hi babies," Melissa yelled as she made herself known in the backyard. "Auntie's here!"
Charlotte let out an excited gasp and walked out down onto the ladder and ran to her aunt as she jumped in her arms. Melissa let out an 'oof' sound as she held onto her niece.
"Ohhh mommy's going to miss you four so much," Hailey cooed to her children as they all came huddled close to her.
"We goin' to miss you too, mommy," Mason said to her as he wrapped his little arms around her neck and hugged her. He gave his mom a sloppy kiss on her cheek and Hailey swore her heart melted into a puddle at how sweet the kids were being.
This was her first time being away from the kids for more than two days so this was definitely going to be an adjustment for all of them. Not to mention that Chris wasn't here either so she was sure they were going to be very confused.
Like Chris, she also had tattoos, but hers were much smaller. She had seven total. There were two small paw prints from Buzz and Dodger. They were actually their paw prints that the tattoo artist was able to make smaller to her liking. In the back of her arm was an outline of the Cinderella castle at Disneyland along with some fireworks and some hearts. This was probably her biggest one, although it was nothing compared to her husband's tattoo's. She also had a Mickey Mouse ears balloon next to it. On her ring finger was the letter 'C' for Chris to show that she was married when she didn't wear her engagement and wedding ring. Chris had the letter 'H' on his ring finger for her. She had a congruence symbol on the side of her body that was in the same as her sister's.
When she got her first tattoo with her sister, Melissa, her mom cried. Literal tears. She wondered how she could ruin her beautiful skin with tattoo's. She just rolled her eyes playfully knowing her mom would get over it eventually and she did. When you have a sister like Melissa who has over twenty and then Justin with over sixty, its kinda hard not to be okay with it.
For her kids, she had four Disney balloons and the tails had their names on them - Charlotte, Mason, Nate and Aurora. That was on her left back shoulder and then lastly she had a small arrow on her forearm that was for her sagittarius zodiac sign since she was born December fourteenth.
"Mamamama," Aurora kept on saying and Hailey's eyes started to tear up. "Luh!"
"Oh my baby," Hailey said as she wiped her eyes and the camera crew caught it all on camera. Hailey knew she was trying to say the word love. "I love you too!"
She picked Aurora up her up and held her close to her as she kissed her daughter's forehead.
She kissed her kids goodbye and had given Melissa and her parents notes on where everything was for them before she drove to LAX airport but not before picking up Kyle. Hailey sent a text to her husband and her family members that she was on her way and how much she loved them.
*
"Ahh," Lisa screamed and Garcelle was excited that she wasn't going to be the only one left with Lisa anymore.
Hailey was wearing black skinny jeans, a black tank top, military style jacket along with a pair of booties and her black Chanel handbag. Both Hailey and Kyle had worn masks inside the airport but were able to take them off now that they were inside the closed area for them.
"Oh girl you look hot," Garcelle complimented Hailey as they greeted each other.
"Thanks so do you," Hailey told her with a smile on her face.
"How many bags did you bring?" Kyle asked the girls as they now sat down.
"I brought a checked bag and then I brought a carry on and then I have a duffle," Garcelle told her.
"I have the same amount of bags," Hailey agreed.
"Okay, I brought a checked bag like that," Kyle nodded in agreement. "A hanging bag with all my coats. A duffle, a carry on," she tells the three women and they let out laughs. "A hat bag and a grocery bag that has oatmilk and an espresso machine."
"You brought an espresso machine?" Garcelle laughed.
"So that I can make us latte's in the morning," Kyle explains.
"That's perfect," Garcelle agrees.
"That's amazing," Hailey agreed. "I love that."
Just then the Queen arrived and Hailey let out a sigh of relief.
"Hello ladies," Kathy greeted everyone as she walked in further.
Kathy gave Hailey a big hug after she hugged her sister.
"How are you, sweetie?" Kathy asked Hailey as she played with her hair.
"I'm good," she smiled at the older blonde. "How are you?"
"Good," Kathy squeezed her best friend's hand and they all sat down and continued to talk.
Thank God for Kathy was all Hailey could think. She was the only other one besides Hailey who never really went on girls trips.
"Missus Hamlin," Kathy addressed Lisa who leaned forward and listened to her.
"Yes?"
"Do we have any little treats to eat?"
"Kathy, I have made sure that there's a good chef and food," Lisa told her.
"The chef tonight is me," Kyle told them.
"Wait, where are we staying?" Dorit asked.
"It's a good home," Lisa told her and everyone listened. "It's gorgeous."
Then Erika came came finally and the whole group cheered for her since she was in a beautiful fur coat.
"Wow, wow, wow," Hailey said impressed. "This look is hot!"
"Well thank you hun," Erika let out a chuckle as she hugged the socialite and kissed her on both cheeks. "Your outfit is so hot."
"Thank you," Hailey smiled.
"Tahoe here we come," Garcelle yelled.
*
"I'm so ready for this girls trip," Hailey commented as she sat down in the chair at the airport.
"Girl you and me both," Erika chimed in agreement with the socialite.
"When was the last time you had a girls trip?" Lisa asked.
"Eight years ago," she told Lisa. "I've had the occasional trip with Kyle and few other friends but not a big girls trip like this."
"Oh wow," Lisa said shocked. "Well we're going to have to really celebrate when we get there."
"I hope that means a lot of alcohol," Hailey said.
"It's like you're speaking my love language," Erika said and Hailey laughed.
They were all drinking a glass of wine on the plane.
"Are you having a meltdown, Garcelle?" Erika asks in concern.
"I don't like small planes," Garcelle confessed.
"I have Diazepam," Hailey told her. "You need one?"
"Girl yes please! You are a life saver."
Hailey reached over and handed her the pill and she took her water and swallowed it.
"No problem," Hailey smiled at her. "I get it."
Because truth was she did. Her husband, Chris, had anxiety and over the years after going to a therapist and his primary care doctor they found things that worked for him.
"Here we go ladies," Lisa yelled and they all cheered while Garcelle closed her eyes and tried to have the medication work its magic on her.
*
"Garcelle we did it!" Dorit yelled when the plane touched down and the women all cheered.
"Cheers to a successful, classy trip," Lisa said with her toast and the women laughed when she said classy because they knew that they were anything but classy and they clanked their glasses to each other's.
"Who wants to drive back with me in an RV?" Garcelle yelled and they laughed at her comment. "Anyone?"
*
"It's so beautiful here," Hailey commented to the group.
"It's the best," Crystal agreed. "I love it. You know when you're raised in LA you grow up with friends and its like all the parents go and they all get condos."

"I have never been to Tahoe," Garcelle confessed. "When I think of Tahoe, I think of bears. Cold."

"To me, Lake Tahoe is one of the most magical places in the United States," Kyle said.

"I don't have any good stories to tell about Tahoe to be blunt. Um, it's pretty," Erika confessed.

"Chris and I brought the kids one weekend to Lake Tahoe with Kyle's family when we all wanted to get away from the LA busy lifestyle. It's really beautiful here," Hailey said.

"Oh my God, it's right on the water," Hailey marveled as she looked at the beautiful home that was an Air BnB.
"I'm excited now," Sutton agreed.
"Welcome to Lake Tahoe," the host of the house greeted the women.
"Thank you," they said back.
"I'm Mark. I'm the host of the Sherman Estate. Lets go check it out," he said to the group and they agreed, excited to see the house and the rooms.
"Wow, this is a house," Crystal said amazed.
"Oh my goodness," Hailey exclaimed.
"This is very pretty," Kyle agreed.

"The house that I booked for this trip is huge!" Lisa explained. "It's seventeen thousand square feet.

"This is your chef for the week," Mark introduced her to the women. "Auset."
"Hi, nice to meet you," Hailey smiled at her.
"Alright ladies, we're going to head downstairs," Mark continued on with the tour of the beautiful home. "You can see oversized game room."
"Game night," Erika commented.
"Your on," Hailey smirked.
"Movie theater," Mark told them and they ooed and awed.
"Our own sports bar," Erika told the group.
"Yes!" They cheered.
"There's an indoor pool?" Hailey said amazed.
"And a hot tub and a sauna," Kyle told her.
"This might be the best view I've ever seen from a house," Crystal commented and Hailey took her phone out to take a picture of the sunset.
She sent the picture to Chris with the text message that read:
thinking of you.
Just then it was her husband calling her on FaceTime and she let out a smile as she answered her phone.
"Hi love," she said once she answered his call.
"Hi bubba," he greeted her with a charming smile that made her weak in the knees even after all this time together. "Your at the house now?"
"Yeah, want to say hi to the girls?" Hailey asked him and he let out a chuckle as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"Sure."
"Everyone say hi to my husband," Hailey showed them the screen on her phone and they all waved at him.
"Hi Chris!" They shouted.
"Hi Captain America," Erika yelled which he laughed at.
"Who said that?" He joked.
"Me, Erika!" Erika said and the women laughed.
"It's nice to meet you all," he told everyone as his Boston accent came through a bit. "Have a good time, alright, Hails?"
"I will. I love you," she said to him.
"I love you more. Send me pictures."
"Definitely," she agreed and they hung up.
"Lets go choose our rooms," Lisa told the women and they agreed. "Let's just see everything and then decide."
Hailey was so ready to have her own room.
"I'll just take this room," Crystal told Lisa, Garcelle and Hailey.
"I'll take the room across from Crystal," Hailey told Lisa.
It was a beautiful room and she loved the view she got. That was the main reason she chose it.
"I will give you both some guidelines to being as your on ground floor," Mark told the women. "Bears have access to ground level."
"Wait, hold on," Crystal said. "There's a ground room floor issue with bears."
"Oh shit," Garcelle said not liking this at all. "Get the fuck out of here," she ran away and the girls laughed.
"You can't just leave the sliders," Mark finished.
"You don't tell a black girl that twice, honey," Garcelle told him and the rest of the group left to go upstairs to see their bedrooms.
"Who is in charge of the bags?" Kathy asked. "Did anybody see a fan? I'm just looking for my fan."
"We bring our own suitcases down?" Sutton asked. "Oh no."
"You can't tell me you've never carried your own bags before," Hailey asked the blonde who stayed quiet. "Sutton! Are you serious?" She laughed.
"I don't roll like that," Garcelle agreed with Sutton.
"Really?" Hailey asked and wondered if all these women were helpless.
"Where's the valet?" Dorit asked anyone. "Do I have to carry my own bags?"
"Yes," Lisa told her.
Hailey got her bags with ease as she had been doing this for a long time. With as many trips as she and Chris took whether it was for work or vacations, they didn't always have someone who was there to help them, so they often times carried their own bags.
"I'm sorry I don't have bell man's but Covid won't let me," Lisa told Kathy. "You guys have to have some grit."
"Aye yai yai," Dorit commented as she tried to bring her suitcase down the stairs with her.
"You need help Dorit?" Hailey asked.
"Yes please, love. Thank you so much."
"No problem," Hailey told her and got one of Dorit's suitcases and helped her downstairs.
"Oh my God this carpet," Dorit groaned. "This is fun," both women laughed at her comment as they struggled to get it across the carpet.
*
Hailey had just gotten off the phone with her kids as they had wanted to FaceTime her before they went to bed.
"How are my nieces and nephews?" Kyle asked her best friend.
"They're great. They say hi to you and Kathy. I miss them already," Hailey let out a small pout.
"I know but I think you really needed this trip," Kyle told her as she placed a gentle, caring hand on her arm. "It'll be good for you," she said to her as she got the lighter for the candles and lit them. "Okay, let's get started. Can I get the salmon out?"
Hailey helped Kyle where she needed assistance. and currently she was cutting the romaine lettuce.
"Is the salmon cut?" Kyle asked the chef.
"I'm doing it right now."
"So I'm boiling the pasta in here, correct?" Kyle asked Auset.
"Correct."
"Do you know where I can find a cheese platter?" She asked.
"I'll get one now," Auset told both women.
"Thank you so much," Kyle thanked her as she left.
"Alright, how can I help?" Crystal asked. "What do you want me to do?"
"I need like a drink," Kyle told her.
"That sounds so good right now," Hailey agreed.
"Do you want me to make you two a drink? That I can do," Crystal told them.
"Do you know how to make a margarita?"
"Yes."
"You do?" Kyle asked shocked. "I mean I don't know how to make a margarita."
"Yeah, easy," Crystal told them and started making them.
"Thank you," Hailey said to her.
"Here, cheers," Crystal said to the women as she handed it to them. "If you don't like it I can adjust."
They both took a sip of it to try it out.
"That is so good," Hailey told her as she continued to drink the margarita and help Kyle with the food.
"So good," Kyle agreed and they thanked her again.
Hailey liked Crystal so far. She liked that she actually jumped in there to help them and didn't just wait on them to finish making the food. They all started to set the table.
"It smells good," Garcelle told the three of them as she and Kathy walked in together.
"Doesn't it smell good?" Kathy agreed.
Hailey was dressed into a new outfit since she wanted to be out of the one she wore on the plane earlier. She was now in a pair of black leggings, a grey chunky knit sweater that she loved to wear whenever it was cold and she had her hair down in soft waves.
"You look beautiful," Kyle told Garcelle.
"Thank you, you too," she complimented Kyle back. "What are you making?"
"I'm making salmon, pasta, there's a cheese platter and some salami's over there. And we'll have a little happy hour first."
"Okay, let's do it," Garcelle agreed, liking this menu.
"Hello gorgeous," Kyle greeted Erika.
"What are you doing over here?" The blonde asked her. "Oh my God look at how pretty this fish is."
Hailey let out a laugh at Erika's comment and the blonde had to admit she took a liking to Hailey right away. She seemed like a cool chick and could see why Kyle was best friends with her. They weren't just best friends for the camera like she was sure fans of the show would think they were. No. They were genuine friends.
"Okay, I need twenty minutes for the salmon and then we'll boil the noodles after," Kyle said to Auset. "Thank you," Kyle thanked the chef and then joined Hailey and everyone in the living room.
"You look really good," Garcelle told her.
"Yeah you do," Hailey agreed.
"Even with the swelling? I feel like I blew up on the plane."
"Girl, what swelling?" Hailey asked her friend.
"On the plane I noticed a little swelling too. You know it does that too," Kathy told her younger sister which had all the women laughing.
"People think I look younger with my nose like this," Kyle told them all.
"And then next year we'll snip a little bit more off and then you're gonna start with the ears," Kathy said to her.
"You don't have to worry about it when you're dead though," Sutton told Kyle.
"Yeah, but until I'm dead I wanna be cute Garcelle," Kyle accidentally called Sutton a different name. "Why do I always do that?"
"What?" Sutton asked.
"I just called you Garcelle," Kyle said as she started laughing and so did Hailey.
"This is Kathy. This is Kathy," Kyle said and got up from her seat doing an odd walk. "Kyle? Kyle?" She asked squinting her eyes. "Oh my God. Hi honey," she spoke to Garcelle that had the women cracking up with laughter. "You look so much like Kyle! With the long dark hair. Unbelievable."
"That is so Kathy Hilton," Lisa laughed out loud.
"Somebody says hi to me and I can't see who they are," Kathy explains.
"My husband does that too," Erika tells Kathy. "Someone will come up and have a full conversation and I know that he doesn't know who they are because he doesn't say 'hey have you met Erika?'"
"Right," Kyle said understanding it.
"Do you ever just be like 'Hi, I'm Lisa,'" Lisa asked.
"Yes, and then I save him and then he goes 'oh yeah' and then he'll walk up and say 'whose that because I have no idea.'"
"That's Harry!!" Lisa yelled.
Hailey let out a loud laugh as she and Dorit shared a look at each other. Just then the alarm went off and Kyle let out a loud gasp and shot up from her seat real fast.
"Oh my God, my food!" Kyle started freaking out and Auset was there to help her.
"It's burning!" Garcelle yelled.
"Do you need some help?" Lisa asked.
"Oh shit," Kyle said in frustration. "I cannot believe this happened."
Some of the girls started helping with the smoke.
"So glad you cooked tonight," Dorit joked and the women let out a loud laugh.
"Well, it's smoked salmon," Hailey joked.
"Everybody dinners ready," Kyle called the group over. "I made blackened salmon."
"The pasta looks great," all the girls agreed as they fixed their plates.
"It's olive oil, garlic, basil, lemon zest," Kyle read off the ingredients to them.
"Oh perfect," Garcelle agreed and they went to find their seats.
Hailey sat next to Kathy and Crystal.
"Thank you for cooking Kyle," the women said to her.
"Any complaints let me know. I'm open to criticism," Kyle told the group.
"There's no criticism," Lisa told her.
"Doogie knows her stuff," Kathy said as Kyle and Hailey laughed at the old nickname. "Doogie, without you, what would we do?"
"So you two are ten years apart, yes?" Lisa asked the two sisters.
"Nine and a half," Kathy corrected.
"That's a big chunk," Dorit said.
"And she never annoyed me," Kathy told them.
"Never?" Lisa asked.
"Kim would come in and love to torture me," Kathy explained. "We get along really well. But she would love torture me."
"That's Kim," Lisa joked but there was also some realness to the comment too.
"And you've known them for how long?" Lisa asked Hailey.
"We've been best friends for over ten years," Hailey tells her even though she's heard this story before.
"Yeah we go wayyyy back," Kyle said with a smile on her face, happy that her best friend was on this journey with her. "Were considered the three musketeers."
It was that sentence right there that made Lisa jealous. Though she would never admit to it and own it. She had way too much pride to do that.
"Sutton did you bring presents?" Lisa asked with excitement to change the subject.
"She always brings presents," Kyle commented.
"Your so generous."
"Garcelle do you want to play Santa?" Sutton asked her best friend.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Garcelle agreed with excitement.
"Okay, because of Covid this is a really important thing for us all to have," Sutton explained as Garcelle got the gifts and passed them out to everyone.
"Erika, Lisa, Hailey," Garcelle called their names out and they thanked her.
"And I think especially going into our election week next week, it might be even more important to have."
Kyle was the first to pull out the flask and they were all excited.
"You guys it's our initials on it," Hailey pointed out. "Thank you so much Sutton," Hailey told the blonde as she got out of her chair and hugged the blonde.
"Now what do we put in this?" Kathy asked confused and Hailey let out a loud laugh.
"Kathy, you use it for alcohol," Hailey explained to her.
"Alright, let's go downstairs," Lisa told the group and they agreed and put their dishes in the sink while Kyle was questioning why no one ate the salmon.
*
"Guys why don't we play this game where we say three things," Dorit asked the group.
"Okay," they agreed.
"Two truths and one lie. And we have to guess what's the lie. Crystal you go first."
"Okay. Ready? I've been arrested. I worked at an escort agency. I've been propositioned to become a madam."
"You being arrested is the lie," Hailey said while everyone else remained quiet.
"Yeah," Crystal agreed with a smile on her face. "I worked at an escort agency however I wasn't an escort."
"You worked as a phone operator," Erika pointed out.
"I worked as a phone operator," Crystal agreed.
"You set the bar really freakin high Crystal," Dorit complained.
"Sutton next," Kyle said.
"I was a barista at Starbucks," she started out and the women were all saying 'no.' "I have stolen something. I was a virgin when I got married."
"She did not work at Starbucks," Erika told the group.
"That is rude because I have worked at Starbucks as a barista."
"You worked at Starbucks?" Crystal asked as her mind was blown.
"Yeah! I wasn't a virgin when I got married."
"Whose next?" Dorit asked.
"Alright I've got mine. You ready? I wore a wire and was a witness in a government case. I have been adopted and I used to work for the mafia."
"Shit, Erika. I can't tell with you," Hailey commented and Dorit and Erika laughed at her comment.
"I'll take that as a compliment," the blonde singer smiled.
"It definitely is."
"Well, you clearly weren't adopted so everything else you've done," Dorit said to her.
"I am adopted," Erika told her. "My stepfather adopted me but my mom is my mom."
"What's the answer?" Lisa asked.
"I'll tell you privately. I've told too much."
"That's a cheat," Dorit frowned.
"Rinna your turn," Kyle told her friend.
"Okay let me think. I am not a good liar. I am not," she told the group.
"Your an actress," Garcelle pointed out.
"I'll go," Hailey spoke up and adjusted herself to get more comfortable in her seat. "I used to be a stripper to help pay myself through college. My husband and I met at a Dior fashion show. And I am a socialite."
Obviously Kyle knew the answer to this but she didn't give the answer since that wouldn't be fair.
"You and your husband met at a Dior fashion show?" Garcelle asked.
"We did actually," Hailey smiled at the memory. "I was the model for Dior and he was the actor and we met after the show. The lie was that I was a stripper."
"Good one, Hails," Dorit smiled at her friend who smiled back.
"Okay Kathy, your turn," Kyle told her older sister.
"I worked as a dental assistant. I worked as a hairdresser cutting children's hair. And I worked as a receptionist at the Waldorf."
Hailey had to think about that for a moment when in fact the whole group needed to. She could have sworn that Kathy's worked all those jobs before.
"Wait, I think those are all true," Garcelle pointed out.
"I do too," Erika and Hailey agreed.
Kathy laughed which got all of them laughing.
"That was good though," Garcelle told her.
Everyone then told each other good night and went to go get changed into bed.
*
"I have gotten to know Garcelle and I do think if you're talking to her in a really real way she's gonna accept it. But if you try to be fake or call her out you cannot do that," Sutton told Kyle as both Hailey and Crystal were listening to them.
"Hold on, Sutton, hold on," Kyle stopped her friend right there. "Your not being honest by not acknowledging the stuff before. Because I did nothing until that moment."
"What was your wrong?" Crystal asked.
"I had a charity event. She had raised her hand to make a donation and then she didn't end up paying the donation. She has now but I brought up the fact that she raised her hand and didn't follow through and pay the donation," Kyle told Crystal and Hailey like it was no big deal but both women made cringe facial expressions.
It was not a good look for Kyle.
"It's been handled since then," Kyle told Sutton.
"Do you regret doing it or no?" Crystal asked Kyle.
"That's a good question," Sutton told her.
"I didn't until I sat down with her and we spoke and she said to me that it really hit her deeply because there's like a stigma with you know, she said with black people and not paying their bills," Sutton nodded her head in agreement with Garcelle. "I would never know the things she was referring to," but Hailey, Sutton and Crystal did know. Hailey knew because she had friends of all races and had witnessed one of her black friends get treated differently than her when they were out at a restaurant one night together. It took Hailey standing up for her friend for the manager to profusely apologize for the waiter's mistake and let them know the waiter was fired and he let their meal be free.
"I understood what Garcelle meant in that moment but I don't think that's where you were coming from," Sutton told Kyle.
"Obviously. You know me and you know me," Kyle said to both Sutton and Hailey. "You know I would never mean something like that."
"One hundred percent," both women agreed.
"But I love that y'all have made up now."
"From a perspective that's not white when it hits you from stereotypes it can be so painful that you can't see anything else," Crystal tells Kyle. "I've had friends who have said things to me - asian comments, stuff like that.
"I am sorry," Sutton started freaking out. "I am not going to do this! I am NOT doing this! I'm telling you this right now!"
"Your not doing what?" Crystal asked confused.
"I am not talking about racial stereotypes when I am -"
"Well it's easy for you not to," Crystal spoke up.
"See this is why," Sutton said and she and Crystal started arguing.
"Can I say something?" Hailey spoke up interrupting them and both of them quit arguing and listened to her. "I think it's important to have conversations like these to help see things from a different perspective. To be able to let them know that you aren't judging them and that you see them."
But then Sutton and Crystal started arguing again.
"Why? Because I'm a southern white girl? Do you want to talk about when I see dumb ass redneck's on the TV and that's supposed to be me?"
"Yes!" Crystal agreed.
"I also have a stereotype. But I don't want to bring it up. We are educated. We are traveled," Sutton said.
"That's insane," Crystal muttered.
"It is not insane! It is called 2021."

Just wanted to let you guys know comments will be deleted if they get too out of hand during this season that I'm writing. This is a safe place to voice your opinion so please be respectful of everyone's opinion and be open-minded.
There will be more Chris Evans in here just not right now since Hailey's on a girls trip.
What do you think about Lisa Rinna not coming back next season? I am so happy about that just hope Brandi doesn't return. Does anyone actually like/trust Brandi?
