So I

 was looking at some Jiang Cheng cosplayers yesterday for...Reasons. 

And the one thing that bugs me, is no one has a good version of Zidian, so I did a little thinking, and if you got maybe three of these things.

If you twisted them together to make one big cord, then reinforced it a bit with either a thin layer of hot glue or maybe clear silicon, and then rewired the battery pack, so it could fit inside a cylinder.

Then you could get a PVC pipe, decorate it to look like Zidian's handle, then place the fairy light battery pack inside the cylinder, you would have a Zidian that actually looks like purple lightning

Just a thought if anyone wants to try it one day. I might do this next Halloween.
