First impressions:

Cover wise:

A cover is supposed to paint a visual of the book in the reader's mind. When I saw the bright cat eye glasses, I assumed that I would be reading about a person who doesn't have a care in the world and lives in her own world.

The small segment of the book was a girl laying carefree on what I assume is an inflatable bed. That's very cool.

The tagline is barely noticeable on first glance. Putting everything together, your cover is nice but a little dull. There is always room for improvement.

Blurb wise:

The blurb is not very satisfying. The description of Ava was a little dull. And there are only other three lines describing the story. You can definitely do a better job.

Writing style:

Every writer has a different and a unique writing style.

I love how Ava thinks. You definitely know how to make a reader interested. I really got hooked up from the very beginning.

The first chapter is all about how the character sees herself and it's very good.

Plot:

Your idea is very interesting and exciting. From the blurb I assume that the best is yet to be discovered. I read five chapters but the bet mentioned in the blurb is yet to be placed.

Character development:

The growth of a character is very important to make a reader connect with him or her. I think you have done a great job describing each and every one. Ava, Ben, Tristan, Shay. The way they act is described perfectly. You have done a great job on character development.

Grammar and typos:

I had to check multiple times to find one proper mistake but I got nothing. Your vocabulary is good too.

Final impressions:

The plot is very interesting but the best is yet to come and so I have decided to keep reading the book. The story makes a reader curious. I would really like to know about the bet. Your work is commendable.
