''Hii.... please come in, Nancy was just about to leave,'' I tell him and put away the ticket.

''I was nearby and thought I'd pass by and pay a visit and to apologize for the other night.''

''....and that is my cue to leave,'' Nancy says and walks out the office to her desk but not before turning to wink at me and mouth, 'hot.'

I ignore her and give my attention to the man standing in front of me, ''Hi...please sit. Although I was not expecting you today. The meeting is the day after tomorrow right?'' I ask him as I pull my schedule to confirm.

''Yeah it is, like I said before, I was nearby and thought I'd pay a visit,'' he replies.

''You were nearby, with flowers? Really? Because as far as I know, there are no florists around this area,'' I question him with a raise of my brows.

He chuckles at this, ''You're clever Athena. I must admit that I actually did come to see you and these....'' He hands the flowers to me, ''are for you.''

''Ohh you shouldn't have Leo. In fact, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I behaved like a jerk the other night. I shouldn't have. I'm sorry.''

''Apology accepted Athena. Though I want to clarify that I had no intention of bringing 'that' up. But a good thing came out of it.''

''What good thing?''

''At least I got to find out that you are single,'' he says with a playful smirk.

''Ohhhh.... uhhh haha yeah,'' I fluster breaking eye contact with him.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, he speaks up, ''So, would you like to maybe go for coffee?''

''Like now? Right now? Or-''

''Yeah Athena, right now.''

''Ohhh I'm sorry I can't today......I have a ton of work to do. I also need to finish working on some designs since they need to be presented in our meeting which by the way is in two days.''

''Well if you want, I could postpone the meeting. Say another 2 more days or maybe next week. Whenever you're comfortable. It could be our secret; I'll tell your board that we are cancelling because of some inconveniences from my end. I'm sure they'll readily agree.''

''That sounds nice but no thanks. I work well under pressure. Given the time limit, I can make it. You don't have to cancel the meeting for me.''

''Bummer. But I respect your decision. So I guess I'll see you in two days,'' he says in a polite manner and gets up to leave.

''Yeah.... see you then and umm.... thank you for these,''I gesture to the bouquet and flash him a smile. He mock salutes and leaves my office.

I guessing he might not have even reached the 16th floor and Nancy rushes inside. ''Oh My God!!! Who was that!! The whole office is talking about him!!''

''That....is Leo Grey. Scott's successor and our new manufacturer,'' I tell her.

''Who is totally crushing on you!! He got you flowers Athena!''

''As a sign to make peace.... we got into a little ummm how do I call it.... a disagreement if you will the last time we met, so he brought these.''

''Uhhh huhhh.... And what disagreement did you have now that he asked you for coffee huh?'' she folds her arms over her shoulders and looks at me accusingly.

''What the.....seriously! that's what you do sitted outside there? You listen in to my conversations??''

''Yes...I mean no....but yes I do, especially if the guy is as hot as this one! Don't you see it. He is so into you.''

''And I'm not Nancy....in case you forgot, I just found out I'm missing a year load of memories and I have a lot on my plate right now. There is no time for me to be in a relationship okay.''

''Who is telling you to get into a relationship with him? Just go out on a date or two and keep things casual.''

''I'll think about it okay......now leave.''

''Whatever you say boss,'' and she leaves the cabin.

''Keep it casual...goddess...if only she knew,'' I mumble and my hand instinctively moves to the mark on my neck, Ethan's words play in my head, 'don't you want to know how you got it?'

''Do I? do I really want to know?'' I whisper to myself.

''Ohh screw it.''I banish that thought from my mind and bury myself in work.

''Hey man, you alright?'' Ethan asks me as him and his mate, Michelle walk in my office.

''Ethan, I've been seeing you a lot in my pack, what happened? Not liking Crescent much these days?'' I joke and Michelle chuckles.

''It's good to have you back Theo,'' Ethan says with sincerity in his voice.

''it's good to be back. I couldn't have done it without you guys though. If you all hadn't helped I'd have really hit rock bottom.''

''How comes I never got this appreciation, is this because he is your brother-in-law? That's not fair man,'' Charles walks into the office.

''Man! Do you ever stop complaining? '' Ethan scowls at him. ''I wonder how Mila puts up with you.''

''That's for me to know and you to not Alpha Ethan,'' he mocks. ''Ahhh Michelle...it's so good to see you. Well settled as the Luna at Crimson?''

''What can I say Charles, it's a work in progress,'' the ginger replies.

''Ethan, how is Victoria? Is she still grieving?'' I ask him.

''She is trying man; we have to walk on eggshells around her. But she is beginning to accept it now. It's a good thing she has Michelle and Nadia. They try to get her to live a little,'' Ethan replies.

''Our only worry is that she does not go rogue, a death of a mate can take a toll on someone,'' Michelle adds.

''If there is anything we can do; you tell me okay? She is my mother too.''

''Well there is one thing you can do Theo and that is to bring Athena back. That will at least help Victoria in recovering,'' Charles says from his position.

''You think I don't know Charles!? I'm working on getting her back!''

''Really? By doing what? Drowning yourself in alcohol!!'' he shouts back.

''That was a one-time thing!! You wouldn't know what it's like for your mate not to remember you. You don't know how hard it is for me wake up every single day!''

''Okay you two......break it up. From what Ethan tells me, you guys have been at each other's throat ever since she left. I don't know her well but what I do know is that she wouldn't want this. So how about we all go to Ashton's and discuss on ways to get Athena back,'' Michelle scolds us.

''I'm sorry brother, I shouldn't have lashed out on you,'' Charles is the first one to apologize.

''I'm sorry too man,'' I tell him as I bro hug him.

''Aww look at you too,'' Ethan smiles and immediately drops it, '' now get your asses up and let's go. We need to bring my sister back!''

We are met with Ashton and Olivia at Eclipse pack, who lead us to their conference room.

''It's good to have you back Theo, the other guy was a pain in the ass, no offense,'' Ashton chuckles as he bro hugs me. ''None taken man.''

''So what's the first step of bringing my cookie back?''

''Uh...yeah about that you guys......she umm.... she doesn't want to come back,'' Ethan tells us.

''I'm sorry.... i didn't quite catch that, come again please?'' Olivia says.

''I said....... she doesn't want to come back.''

''Why? Why doesn't she want to? I mean this is her home.''

''Not according to her.... her home is now in Toronto. She is settled well there you guys.... her business is flourishing too.''

''And how do you know this Ethan?'' I ask him.

''I visited her a few days ago.... she kicked me out of her house. Said she wants nothing to do with any of you and that is her life now. I think part of her knows that she has lost her memory but it seems like she is in no hurry of getting it back,'' I explain to them.

''You visited her and you didn't even bother to tell me!!!'' I yell at him.

''Whooaaa there....... last I checked, I didn't need permission from YOU to speak to MY sister!''

''He is right Theo, you need to calm down...you've been acting out a lot lately,'' Ashton advises.

''yeah...yeah...okay...I'm sorry man!'' I apologize to him.

''It's okay......I understand your grief.''

''So what now?'' Michelle questions and we all look at each other blankly.

''Well it's simple isn't it?'' Ashton starts, ''if SHE doesn't want to come here, then WE go there.''
