Chapter 43: My Biggest Fear

There Jimin sat in front of Jungkook, smirking at him as he placed on his gloves once more and crawled over the boy until he hovered over the human's breathless body. Jungkook was still as red as blood as he looked into the eyes of the fearsome wolf and couldn't help but to keep blushing through his breathless pants.

"Oh, Jimin..." Jungkook breathed softly and looked at the older man just above his naked body.

"I knew you would enjoy it~" Jimin whispered and kissed the side of Jungkook's head right after. "Come on, I can help you to the bathroom so you can wash up..."

"Why don't... why don't you join me?" Jungkook asked into a soft whisper that left Jimin letting out a slight chuckle as he looked him in the eyes.

"I've already showered, my little raven~ so, let me help you there... I know you won't be able to walk with such pain," Jimin looked Jungkook in the eyes and finally got off of the boy and stood by the bed, waiting to assist Jungkook into the shower and allow him to wash up after such a memorable night.

Jungkook slowly sat up and furrowed his brows at the sting from his entrance as he finally got up with the help of Jimin. The man guided him to the bathroom and set him into the shower where he stood in place and watched Jimin close the shower curtains for him. Jungkook smiled just knowing how thoughtful the dominant was towards him and blushed from the thought of it all. Jimin's actions did speak louder than words; the way he smiled and took very good care of the boy, were memories that didn't go without praise from Jungkook.

The boy stood in the shower all alone while Jimin brushed his teeth at the sink close by. They were silent for the moment as Jungkook pondered asking Jimin if he could leave just for a moment, but he was sure to promise Jimin of his return. However, there Jungkook stood, washing his body and allowing the water to trickle down his perfectly chiseled body as he hesitated to ask Jimin this question.

"Maybe... maybe he wouldn't mind it. He trusts me, doesn't he?" Jungkook thought and listened to Jimin brush his teeth just beyond the shower curtains. "I can't ask him now... I need to face him, I need to look at him, I need to see how he reacts to this. I'll ask him after," Jungkook concluded his thoughts as he continued to wash his body and his hair out.

His quick shower felt like eons; he became anxious about asking Jimin about this especially when he promised he wouldn't leave. But Jungkook wanted to believe Jimin wasn't too possessive; this alone was giving him hope. Hope of telling Jimin and listening to his words as he understood. Jungkook could see it now, he anticipated Jimin's approval just so he could handle things that should've been handled quite some time ago.

After the shower, Jungkook stepped out and began to feel slightly better about asking Jimin. He was confident now and hoped for the best as he dried himself and placed on a white robe Jimin left behind so he could wear afterwards. The boy limped out of the bathroom and tossed his thoughts around while he tied the belt around his small waist.

The moment Jungkook stepped out and looked over to the man sitting on the chair; writing away in his book. Jungkook's heart began to pound anxiously since he longed to know the answer to his question, but he didn't want to bring the question up so suddenly. So, Jungkook approached the bed to find his clothes already set out for him and longed to speak about anything first.

"Jimin..." Jungkook whispered as the older stopped writing and closed the book once more to look at him. Giving Jeon Jungkook all of the attention he could ever want.

"Yes?" Jimin asked and smiled at the boy. Carefully, he leaned back and placed his hand over his plump lips while his right leg crossed over his left; watching Jungkook's every move to give him his full attention.

Anxiety burned through Jungkook's soul like a powerful ray from the sun. Jungkook was beginning to confront anyone now, so this wouldn't be much of a hassle, right? Jungkook wanted to cling onto that thought and took a deep exhale before attempting to build up the conversation leading up to the big question.

"What are you... writing in there?" Jungkook asked and dodged the path leading to the question he desperately needed to ask. Right now, Jungkook just didn't want to bring it up so suddenly and hoped to smooth out the conversation before anything unexpected occurs.

"Ah, it's nothing bad... like I said before, I just tend to organize my thoughts by writing them down. Being alive for so long really tends to fill my mind up of many things I've lived through. So as it goes on and on in my head, I write it down to at least have a bit of control in my mind," Jimin answered and watched Jungkook loosen the bathrobe belt along his waist.

"Oh, that's good... you must have a lot of those journals, don't you?" Jungkook mentioned and heard a chuckle coming from Jimin.

"I have about ninety seven books in total. This one... is my most recent one, starting from even before you were ever born..." Jimin mentioned as he set the book over a small table close by. "It helps a lot..."

"I wonder... if you will ever talk to me about anything that wanders on in your mind for far too long," Jungkook mentioned. Instantly, he removed the bathrobe and allowed it to fall from his shoulders and drape from his elbows right after. "I could tell you anything and you will do the same, right?"

"Of course. I trust you, Jungkook! I will tell you everything but not at once. Oh god would that be terrifying; to tell you all of my pain in one sitting and risk you losing your mind from the stories I'll tell," Jimin added on and smiled as he watched the bathrobe fall from Jungkook's elbows so swiftly and touch the ground right after. "Being alive for over one-hundred years, I tend to have a sharp memory of everything I've lived through... but more older mistakes always tend to stick around longer than the recent mistakes... which means that my mind is always hung up about the past. I tend to dwell on it more."

"That's not right, Jimin... please don't think like that. It's not healthy," Jungkook replied and slipped on his white underwear before walking towards Jimin to sit over on his lap and look at him in his eyes.

Jimin tried to hold in his smile as he wrapped his gloved hands around Jungkook's waist and kept them locked in. Looking at the boy as he sat over his partner's lap.

"I want to help you Jimin... you've helped me in so many ways! I want you to be able to open up towards me... let me in, please..." Jungkook told his partner and wrapped his arms around Jimin and hugged him. Feeling the warm points of his body. Yet, still motionless as he kept a good posture on the chair.

"Oh Jungkook, what good in this world did I do to deserve you?" Jimin asked and let out a soft chuckle before leaning back and hugging Jungkook in his arms. "Darling... I'll be letting you in little by little. But just so we're clear, it takes a lot to get to me... it takes a lot to see me open up but once I do, please understand me and why I tend to open up later than usual," Jimin advised and of course, Jungkook accepted. He always accepted Jimin for who he truly was and didn't think this was going to trouble him at all. They had each other and honesty boomed within the two.

Right now, the gentle warm feeling burned between their bodies. Jungkook felt safe and calm with the man and finally knew what he had to do next.

"Jimin... you trust me, right?" Jungkook asked so innocently as his body clung onto Jimin's. Resting his face against the older's shoulder so carefully as the fear he kept within began to make him tremble and lose track of his thoughts so suddenly.

"Yes, I do, Jungkook. Why would you ask that?" Jimin asked. Running his hand down the boy's shoulder and continued to rub his skin softly, feeling Jungkook exhale against his black turtleneck shirt. "Are you thinking about something?"

"I... I was thinking about what you said before and I... I wanted to... I wanted to ask..." Jungkook whispered before pulling away from the careful hug before looking him in the eyes and growing anxious. "I wanted to ask if I could... leave..."

      "Leave?"

"Y-Yes..." Jungkook answered and watched Jimin's brown eyes fade into a bloodshot red hue that brought out the serious tone to his face. "I... I want to go back and talk to my parents... and talk to my friend! I want clarity and I want to make things right." He spoke with a tremble erupting from his innocent voice as Jimin only carried on his judging glare; his red eyes vibrated in unexplainable anger that shot through his dead body. Jimin couldn't think of anything else to say but suddenly began to laugh.

Jimin laughed and ran his hands up to cup Jungkook's naive and confused little face. Looking him in the eyes silently while his own were still shining in such a red hue.

"Leave... Why do you want to do that? Wouldn't you want to stay here with me, my little raven?~"

"I... I just want to clear things up with my family and my friend. After, I'll come back to you, I promise!"

"My weakness... my only weakness...I can't.. I can't let you go, not like this, my little raven. Having you leave me is my biggest fear. If you go, I won't be able to think correctly! I won't be able to tell if you'll come back for me..." Jimin whispered. "Please understand me when I say no."

Jungkook understood why Jimin felt this way. No matter how much trust Jimin had for the boy, he would close his eyes and recall the jarring moments he was left alone by his beloveds in the past. Jimin didn't have a good history with that and wanted to trust Jungkook with his all, but he was too afraid he would be harmed once again. Jimin just didn't want to be alone in a world filled with people.

"But... but I promised you I would come back! Jimin, please... I just have to set things right before I choose to spend my time with you here. I never got into contact with them since the night I came here, they must wonder where I am, especially Namjoon..." Jungkook continued and just then, he watched Jimin tilt his head and loosen his touch from Jungkook's soft face. "Please, I need this..."

"I don't want you to leave me, please don't go. Jungkook, I'll let you have anything you desire but please, don't go!" Jimin told the boy continuously, but Jungkook wasn't going to drop this until he was allowed to return home for just a while. For just an hour or a minute, Jungkook wanted to take anything he could just to make things right.

Just then, Jungkook got off of Jimin and walked towards the bed where he began to put on the remaining clothes. His white dress shirt with frills along the cuffs and the neck hole, hugged his body perfectly as he buttoned up the dress shirt after and allowed it to tent over his underwear. "Jimin, I will be back! I promise you... I promise you with my life and if I lie, find me and kill me there! I just want you to know that I won't ever leave you alone forever. I just need to see them and I-"

"You're... not going... anywhere...." Jimin spoke into a slight growl and got up after Jungkook. Approaching the boy with such an uneasy glare. "I can't help but to think you won't ever come back, listen to me..."

"Why... why can't you trust me? I'm not like Hyunwon, I'm not like everyone who left you before! I'm different... please, Jimin..." Jungkook begged as he walked up to the man and slid his hands up Jimin's chest. "I don't want to argue... please, don't make us argue... I'll prove it to you and I'll come back I promise I-"

"Jungkook, please! I don't want to see you leave me for even more than one second. I trust you, I trust you with my all, darling... but this fear that I have, I just can't face it right now. Not now..." Jimin told the boy. Trying his best not to raise his voice and make Jungkook feel horrible. Jimin refused to harm Jungkook and argue after, so he slid his own gloved hands up and held Jungkook's hands by the wrist abruptly and looked him in his gleaming eyes. "Don't make me repeat myself. If you leave, I won't forgive you at all... so don't you ever leave me, Jeon Jungkook. That's a warning."
