"Take care, Ellio." My mom and I hugged.

Dad placed a heavy hand on my shoulder. "I look forwards to that battle, Son."

I grinned at him. "I aim to please."

He laughed, then knelt down to pat Star, my Riolu partner, on the head. "Take care of Ellio for us, okay?"

Star began to cry and hugged my dad, nodding.

Mom sung her song, calming my partner, and then she handed me a special cloak.

"I made this cloak for you to help you keep hope in the darkest of nights. Your father embued it with his courage, so never feel alone."

I hugged her once more before stepping foot on the plane. "Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!"

They waved me good bye and watched as Star leapt onto my shoulder and I bolted up the boarding stairs. Sitting down in one of the many chairs, Star and I prepared for take off. Gazing out at shrinking Aurora, I felt a new feeling. Loneliness.

My thoughts drifted to my older sister, Luna. She is the reigning Champion of Hoenn, and she saved the world. Yes, she was seven years older than me, but I don't care. I will be the second Ransei citizen to change our entire world.

As night fell, an attendant tried to hand me a silky blanket, but I simply pulled out a tough and thick blanket my close friend, Christine, made for me. Draping it over Star and me, our eyes slowly drifted closed.

When they drifted back open, we were flying over Hoenn. Seeing Mega Latias fly through the skys, I chuckled.

"Glad my sis is having fun."

Star yawned his cute yawn and I chuckled. Taking a good look at my new cape, I noticed that it had the Titan logo from Destiny as the main design, with the backdrop being black. The logo was whit with grey splotches, like it's been tossed in ash.

Smiling, I put it behind me and gazed out at the massive sea.

"Just several more hours until we land in Alola..."

Star yawned again and that was when I realized how tired I was. Luckily, a flight attendant came up to me.

"Would you care for anything, young master? Tea? Cereal?"

I looked at Star, then at her. "Actually, yes. Two coffees, and two natural ham sandwiches, please. Swiss cheese."

She bowed, then hurried off to make our order. Star began to play with action figures of a Lucario we found along with Mewtwo. He banged them together multiple times, mimicking a fight and I chuckled.

We're gunna become great, buddy. I can feel it.

The waitress came back with our food and I put down our tray table. She placed the food on the table, then got out of our way. Chuckling, I watched as Star chewed down his coffee and guzzled down his sandwich, somehow. I, on the other hand, ate my food slowly and watched as four islands formed on the distance. A attendant handed me a special tablet.

"Your schedule for the day, sir. You may deviate from it if you wish, but please be on time for your meeting later today. May I recommend Sharpedo Surfing?" She smiled brightly at me.

"Thanks. We might just do that." I felt the plane start a soft decent.

Star stood up and gazed out the window. We have flown between Kingdoms before and man, was it cool! Watching the land below us turn from rice fields, to a burnt volcano, then to lush green fields, then the crags of north eastern Ransei. The jolt of the plane touching ground woke me from my thoughts, the lights slowly brightening in the mimic of a sunrise.

"C'mon, Star. Let's go and explore this whole new world!!!"

Star and I bolted to our feet and exited the air port, eager to see Alola for my own two eyes, rather then from a brochure. Gazing around, it was just as described: paradise.

Woah....

And that has been the first chapter of The Ransei Prince. I think this was a nice opening chapter, describing my new Sun. He will meet someone from the Pokémon School, but who is it? Take your guesses! Note: Sophocles has not left.

Also, I have worked on this for about a week now, heh heh.
