Thomas has bested all the nightmares that came before, only to come face to face with his greatest nightmare, of succumbing to his dark abilities. He engaged to fight, but the creature disappeared when it started. He couldn't predict what was going to happen, only keep his guard up and hope his reactions were good enough.
