“Darn it! I’m late again.” I muttered angrily, as I raced the halls, trying to find my class. I stumbled in and scrambled for my seat. Thankfully, the teacher’s back was turned to me, so I pretended that I was here since the beginning. Close call.

Class began as usual; our teacher’s name was Mrs. Barrington. Weird name. After a few minutes, a girl with a green and pink striped jacket slowly looked around, and entered quietly. She was halfway to her place, when she tripped and fell with a loud crash.

Silence.
