Thanks GreekCatholicHorse, I think...

1) What's your philosophy in life?

The Bible is the truth.

2) What's the one thing you'd like to change about yourself?

I wish I could churn our awesome quality literature the first time round, not having to endlessly edit. It took me a year to write a short story I was happy with. Hats off to all of you who can!

3) Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

Introvert. I like chatting to people and can be very friendly, but then I need some privacy to process.

4) What parent are you close to and why?

Oh my mum. She's amazing and caring. I admire her in so many ways, but mostly because her words and her actions match always.

5) What makes you feel accomplished?

Is it lame to say getting reads on Wattpad? I do feel very affirmed by praise.

6) What is your favourite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much?

This is a very difficult question but I would have to say my favourite book is, 'The Eagle of the Ninth' by Rosemary Sutcliffe. It is a beautifully written story. I felt I learned a lot about the era and I also found it emotionally satisfying. There was no false note and the characters did what I wanted them to! It is also the kind of book that can be enjoyed by an older child as well as an adult, as arguably all the best books are.

Not the movie though. Did not like the movie! Although I saw it at the movies in China which was kind of cool.

7) Who is the one person you can talk to about anything?

My husband.

8) Have you ever lost anyone close to you?

Not very, very close but I have definitely lost very significant people, several in awful ways.

9) If you are in a bad mood do you prefer to be left alone or cheered up?

Be left alone for a while...then cheered up!

10) Do you judge a book by its cover?

Absolutely yes. I love beautiful covers. I also hate it when books I really like have bad covers - it makes me not want to share them with others.

11) Did you ever write a journal?

Sporadically at various times. In high school I had this weird idea that writing messily would help keep all my thoughts secret, so it would be too painful for others to read. Of course that means now I cringe at the idea of trying to reread them.

12) What are you most grateful for?

The life I am living now.

13) What's the one thing that most people misunderstand about you?

Sometimes I catch myself smiling when I shouldn't. It's not always cognitive.

14) What's on your bucket list this year?

Finish my attempt at fantasy, although that seems unlikely to happen.

15) What's your biggest regret in life?

I do really regret not attending my friend's wedding. At the time it seemed way too hard to get there because of the cultural pressures of the country I was working in, but our friendship never really recovered.
