The RBLS is a contest for the authors, of the authors and by the authors

ROUND 1:
1) Every week 5 stories will be posted.
2) Three out of the five will advance to the next round. We will take 2 weeks to process the results as every story in every batch is given two weeks to accumulate their votes. So by the time the third batch of stories has been posted the results for the first will be out!

3) All the readers, participants and non- participants have to VOTE for their favourite stories out of five.
If you really love the story, vote on all chapters or as many chapters as possible. Do vote to show your support. We believe in KARMA, so what goes comes back! So show some love!
4) If you adore a particular story, you can even leave reviews on them and TAG the reviews with #RBLS ( we are developing a twitter too)
5) Readers for the stories need not necessarily mean only the participants. You can get as many readers for your story by promoting it. But the reviews left by readers who are not participants will only be considered if they are tagged with #RBLS ! (This is done so that the management team finds it easier to locate your reviews. The Reviews along with a MAJOR TWIST is going to be a part of the judging criteria in Round 2)

NOTE: ROUND 1 is going to be judged by the number of votes you have amassed. But reviews left with the tag #RBLS
will have a major impact on your selection during the second round.
The more positive the reviews, the better is your chance of getting into the finals after Round 2.

How will we calculate your votes?

Our logistics team will keep a track of the initial votes amassed by your story before RBLC begins.
Here is the real kicker, the number of votes amassed by you before the contest begins are IGNORED.

Let me explain with the help of an example-
Mr A, an author has amassed 53 votes before the start of the contest. He sees RB's advert and decides to join. He is informed that the 53 votes amassed by him will be considered as ZERO VOTES in our books. We will only count the votes he received in the span of 2 weeks when his story is featured by us.
At the end of two weeks he has amassed a total of 73 votes including the 53 votes that he had amassed earlier.
His votes as calculated by us will be 20 votes i.e. Final votes amassed at the end of the two weeks- Initial votes amassed before the commencement of the contest i.e. is 73 votes - 53 votes= 20 votes

We have adopted this system as we feel it will bring everyone to the same level.
