The Truth, the Bad, and the Dirty
(Judy's Parents Place)
The field was rough and hard to maneuver, but Judy was used to it, she did this for years before she joined the force. Her dad was somewhat silent but did ask the occasional question.
After the bunny finished her work after about 3 hours, she returned and came to Rocket, with the couch up in its original position and he was laying down, staring at the ceiling.
"Hey," Judy said, sitting on the armchair next to where Rocket was.
"Oh, hey Judes, wonderin when you were comin back," Rocket chuckled, "Damn radio was a hassle but I got it done."
"And a hassle for you is what, 30 minutes?" said Bonnie, who gave the pair sandwiches.
Rocket chuckled and sat up, with Judy getting up to sit next to him.
"I guess I owe you a story..." Rocket said blankly, meeting her purple orbs as they linked eye contact.
"Yeah, well, I gotta go back out to the field, so... tell me later, plus we can have a drink to help tell the story, ok?"
"Sure," Rocket said, mind stuck on the thought of drinking with Judy, since the last time he drank, he found himself sleeping in a sink.
(4 hours later)
Judy finished and came back in, covered in dirt and seeds. She went straight up to the bathroom and took a shower, changing into a simple grey t-shirt and pink pajama bottoms. Then she returned and turned to Rocket, who was reading a manual on how to fix a car, which Stu asked him to read. Even though he knew how to fix any sort of vehicle, he thought he'd read something.
"So, what we drinkin?" Rocket asked as he got up.
"I got a bunch of stuff," Judy replied, walking over to the liquor cabinet her dad had.
"Ah, this'll do," Rocket stated, pulling out a bottle of whiskey, Judy groaned and grabbed her personal drink, cheap vodka.
They both poured their respected drinks and Rocket started, "So anyway, I was, thrown here, and searched around for a job as I slept on the street for a bit, after that I got a start up job from Big."
When Judy asked what that was he replied, "Oh just an easy job, usually some junkie or some shit, someone easy to capture basically."
"So how'd you get in with Big, big time" Judy chuckled at her own joke and they both drank their liquids, Rocket pouring more as Judy waited.
"Oh, yeah, Big was mainly my employer, using me for his high target stuff. That's when I met Nick, and Jack, about 3 months ago. We worked as a tag team basically. I'd kill one, Nick would kill one, Jack would...," Rocket thought for a second, "Let's just say Jack, like to have 'fun' with his targets."
"What like... have sex with them," Judy asked, chuckling at the thought.
"No... torture." Rocket said grimly
"Oh..." Judy's heart dropped at the sound of Rocket's voice.
They drank and talked about themselves now, mostly about personal stuff, and Stu and Bonnie were out of the house hanging out at a party for someone Judy hardly knew, so they were fine with a little make out session, drank more, and neither couldn't remember anything else.
(Morning)
Rocket's head stung and his eyes felt like knives were stabbing at every blink. Ow. Ow. Ow. Rocket attempted to sit up but them froze when her saw Judy's back to him, asleep, with no shirt on, sheets covering everything else.
'What just happened" Rocket whispered to himself.
He quietly got his clothes back on and checked the small clock, it read '6:46 AM' "Good" Rocket thought, "Her parents aren't up yet"
Rocket turned on the coffee and poured some for him and the bunny sleeping in the bed. He tried calming his headache as he took some ibuprofen and aspirin. The raccoon then started to piece together last night, while picking up the bottles and cleaning up after last night. There was one thing he couldn't understand, it smelled odd, not horrible, just a stench that is off-putting. It was about this time that the grey one awoke and had the same reaction as the raccoon, confusion. Judy then got dressed and walked over to the counter, grabbed her coffee and just sat in silence, both awkwardly glancing at each other.
"Um- what happened last night?" Judy asked, basically knowing what happened, just trying to see if it wasn't all what she thought.
"I- don't wanna know, but I think I do," Rocket replied, his eyes glued to the floor now, realizing what happened.
"I'm gonna go, do some stuff, gotta freshen up, ok?" Judy said with a hint of hesitation, sipping her coffee, then getting up, planting a kiss on the top of Rocket's head and walking off to do her own thing.
Rocket frowned slightly and looked at his phone for a bit, drinking his coffee every few seconds, headache still pumping annoyingly.
"Hey, good morning Rocket," Bonnie came into the room, grabbing the coffee pot, pouring some. "Where's Judy?"
"Bathroom I think."
Judy's mom nodded and sat down at the circle dining table, scanning the area where they slept.
"Um- Rocket... can. Can I talk to you for a second?" Judy came in the room, looking worried with slight glossy eyes, from tears, holding something Rocket didn't recognize, it was a small white rod.
"Sure," Rocket said, hopping up and following her to the opposite room.
"I- uh, think I know what happened last night..." Judy said as she showed Rocket what she was holding, it was a pregnancy test.
"Oh- oh." Rocket said, slightly frowning, "I- I'm sorry? I don't know what to say Judes."
"I mean... do you want this?" Judy asked, for finality, her mind was stuck on Rocket's red eyes, contemplating the question.
"Yea- I mean, sure, do you?"
"I don't know, I mean it's normal in our family, as you can clearly see, but I'm the only one in the family who hasn't had one yet." Judy said, her ears flattening.
"Hey," Rocket said, placing his paw on her shoulder, "I can help you through this, I promise, I won't leave you..."
"Really?" Judy said, tears in her eyes now, sniffling.
"Yes," Rocket said, they kissed, then returned to the living room, Stu now awake, reading the newspaper.
"Hey, Judy something wrong?" Stu asked, seeing her red eyes and wet fur around her eyes from crying, to which Judy shook her head in response.
"I'm fine, thanks," Judy said with Rocket arm around her shoulder, as they returned to the couch/bed.
(Big's Complex)
"Sir, we've searched everywhere, and he's nowhere to be found," Henry stated to the small mouse sitting across from him.
"What about that rabbit?" Big's raspy voice added.
"Nothin, but Jack is making a fast recovery, thank god he didn't get shot in the head," Henry said.
"Once he is cleared, have him come to me, with 20 or so guys, we will find him, we need him and that bitch dead! They've seen too much," Big stated coldly.
A/N: Yeah, I've been trying to tie in a few things, but I'm trying to hurry the story along with some plot lines that will smooth out as the chapters go on! Love you guys! Also Judy's test was positive if you couldn't tell. Jack is alive, and Rocket is... well you'll see...
