Rosalie awoke the next morning with red watery eyes. While she was changing, she heard something at her window. She saw rocks being thrown. She finished getting dressed and opened the balcony doors. She walked out and looked around. Of course, there was Derek waiting for her. Rosalie rolled her eyes and started laughing.

    "What's so funny?", he yelled up at her

    "You're so impatient", she yelled back. She kept laughing and ran out of the room. She ran past Alana in the hallway.

    "Hey Rosa...", Alana couldn't finish cause she was pushed to the ground.

    "Sorry Alana", Rosalie said as she ran outside. When she got there, Derek wasn't there.

    "Derek? Where are you? Hello!", she yelled as she kept looking for him. Suddenly, something was behind her. Derek grabbed her hand and lifted her onto his horse.

    "Derek, what's wrong?", Rosalie asked Derek. Usually they would talk the entire time they were riding. Rosalie held on tighter to Derek, he was riding faster than usual. Then, he came to an abrupt stop.

    "Derek, are you okay?", He was tenser than usual.

    "Look at the sky. It doesn't look the same"

    "I know. I've noticed. Why? What's going on?"

    "It's sky. He was poisoned. I talked to him and Cynthia. Both say it was Alana, and I believe them. Please Rosalie, come with me to Cloud Kingdom with me. It'll be safer", he said holding his hand out for her to grab onto, but she slapped it away.

    "No. I'm not going with you. How dare you speak ill of my cousin. She would never do something like that.", she was furious.

    "But, Rosalie, I worry about your safety. Please come...", Derek didn't finish. Rosalie through the engagement ring on the floor and started walking away.

    "I should've never trusted you. Alana was right, you are a liar. I bet you put the snakes in Alana's room. I don't want you near my kingdom again! I don't want you near anyone in my family! Tell Cynthia she can come home!", yelled Rosalie. She blew a whistle and her horse, Artemisia, came to take her home.

    "Rosalie! Please listen to me!", Derek yelled as she rode away from him. When Rosalie got to the castle, Alana was outside.

    "Rosalie, what happened?", she said sarcastically.

    "Hope you're happy. It's over between Derek and me. I forbid you from ever seeing him again", she told Alana and ran into her room.

    "Yes!  Hahahahaha!", Alana yelled, knowing Derek was hers.

    "The only problem is, Rosalie still harbors feelings for him. Of course, Derek still loves her.I still need to get rid of her", Alana thought to herself. Alana knew if there was a time to get rid of Rosalie, it was now. Alana ran to the kitchen.

    "Rosalie, can you come down here?", Alana yelled from the kitchen. She had a pan in her hand. Rosalie came down running. She didn't see Alana when she opened the door. Then wham! Alana whacked her on the head and knocked her out. Alana got to work. She tied up Rosalie arms and legs together and taped her mouth. Rosalie woke up after and tried screaming. She couldn't cause her mouth had tape on it. Alana came and ripped it off.

    "Alana! What's wrong with you?", Rosalie looked at her with eyes wide open.

    "You should have listened to Derek dear cousin. He was right. I put the snakes in Cynthia's bed and I'm the one who poisoned Sky. Now, I'll get rid of you and Derek will be mine!", Alana said to Rosalie. She diddn't notice Derek was there. While Alana was busy laughing her lungs out, Derek went behind Rosalie and untied her. Then, he picked her up and started to get out of the kitchen, until Alana saw him and slammed the door shut.

    "Hello Derek. Going somewhere? Last I checked, Rosalie told you to stay away from us", Alana said to him in a flirty way. Derek looked down and saw Rosalie had passed out and was bleeding. He held onto her tighter and ran to the other room. He put her on the couch and propped her head with a pillow. Alana busted through the door, her face red with fury.

    "Derek. You ran off with the wrong girl. Rosalie broke up with you. I'm the one that loves you. You belong with me", Alana said, of course, she was crazy. Then there was a loud noise that came form the door. Sky came with Cynthia right behind him.

    "Get away from them Alana", yelled Sky.

    "Rosalie! Derek is she ?", Cynthia asked as she looked at her bleeding cousin.

    "No, but she's very weak. Alana, please let us take her to a hospital. Both of you will be alright. Trust me", Derek was trying to persuade Alana to release them. Then she took out a dagger. She made Derek get away from Rosalie. Then, Alana pointed the dagger to Rosalie's neck. No one noticed that Sky snuck up behind her.

    "One move and I'll kill her", she threatened. Sky jumped out and tackled Alana to the ground. Alana had dropped the dagger when Sky attacked.

    "No This is supposed to be my happily ever after!", Alana yelled as Sky held onto her arms tightly. They tied her up and dragged her to the hospital. Derek ran to Rosalie and called a doctor. The doctor said it would take time for her to heal because she lost a lot of blood, but thanks to them, she will live.
