"So, do you really know where you're going?" Mr. L asked Luigi. Luigi was skipping ahead. "Uhh, yeah! This map shows us the exact path the tracker was on, so we should be able to just follow this! Although I've never actually been out this way. I'm sure Mario has, but he just didn't take me." Mr. L crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Of course he didn't take you. Still, all that jerk does is take the spotlight. And you wonder why I can't stand him." Luigi smiled, "Well look at us now. Now we're on our own adventure!" Mr. L looked over at him and smiled. Luigi was always the best at seeing the light where there wasn't any.

"Okay, this is where they dropped the mask." Luigi pointed to the ground. "And that's the way they headed." Luigi pointed North East. Mr. L held onto the mask. "We're coming Dim," he whispered. "What was that?" Luigi asked. "Oh, nothing."

The two followed the map. It pointed them up towards a large mountain range. "Ugh, we're gonna have to summit this??" Mr. L complained. Luigi laughed. "Come on, you yourself said that I should step up the Cardio! Race you to the top!" Luigi took off running. "What? No! Wait up!" Mr. L chased after him.

The two eventually made their way up the mountain, Luigi just ahead of Mr. L. "Yes! I won! I finally won!" Mr. L laughed and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, you only won because you got a head start." Luigi shushed him. "Shh, it's still a victory. Don't take this away from me." Mr. L looked a little concerned. "You don't get to win often, do you?" Luigi turned towards him. "Oh, no no. It's just, when your brother is a superstar like Mario, you're use to coming in second place." Mr. L looked down. "Right, right. I still just don't get it. Why you care about him so much?" Luigi turned to Mr. L and smiled. "I don't know. Why do you care about Dimentio so much?" This question caught Mr. L off guard. His face turned red. "What?? I don't! Stop that! Don't you remember, we're the ones who defeated him!" Luigi shrugged and turned around. "Well, you were heartbroken when he was gone, you spent months looking for him, you only agreed to come with me on this because of his mask..." Mr. L looked annoyed. "I just felt bad because we've never killed anyone before. And I only want to find him to apologize for said killing. The main reason I'm here with you is to prevent you from falling into a ditch. You're fairly clumsy." Luigi rolled his eyes. "Sure, sure. You know, I never took you for a dirty liar." Mr. L snapped. "I'm not lying! Stop that!" "I'm just sayin, you seem to really care about the guy." Mr. L seemed annoyed. "Why are we talking about this? Let's change the subject." Luigi shrugged. "Alright, alright, but this conversation is not over."

"Huh, that's weird." Luigi looked over at his map. The trail had them going into a cave, but the line stopped about half way through. "What? What is it?" Mr. L asked. Luigi pointed at the map. "It looks like they stopped here, but that seems like a weird place to stop." Mr. L shrugged. "Maybe they're taking a break?" Luigi shrugged. "Well, we'll see when we get there!"

Once the two got to the end of the line, they saw another weird portal thing, similar to the one behind Peach's castle, which they all used about a year ago. The two looked at each other, then at the portal. "Do you think we're supposed to go in?" Luigi whispered to Mr. L. "Why are you whispering?" Mr. L said. "I don't know, it just seems like a good place to whisper." Luigi whispered. "You're such a dork." Mr. L laughed. The two nodded and headed into the portal. Suddenly, Luigi's map changed to fit the layout of the weird void they were in. "Ah, cool! I didn't know my invention could do this!" 

Mr. L showed a little look of worry. "What do you mean? You invented it!" Luigi shrugged. "The section where we connected the tracker to the map I had to use the instruction book, so I didn't quite understand how it worked." "Oh, um, alright." Mr. L pushed the thoughts away. Luigi was new at making cool inventions, so he guessed it made sense that he didn't understand everything. "So, your map is taking us across worlds? But the line only shows us the path in the world we're in?" Luigi looked up. "Yes, that seems correct." Mr. L shrugged. "Alright, well, where do we seem to be heading?" Luigi pointed. "Over there. Hey, this is close to the Deltarune file! I haven't been there since...." Luigi suddenly looked down. The last time he was there, he was trying to hide from all his problems. Mr. L looked over at him, then tried to reassure him. "Hey, well, let's see where this file takes us!" The two entered the file.
