I follow the Droit out to my driveway where he has his vehicle at. I stop to admire it for a moment. Of course he's driving a hovercar. He works for the government and probably never has to worry about not being given his fair earnings.
He walks to the passenger door and opens it for me. "Hurry up, you're late," he says forcibly. I scurry quickly to the door sliding onto the smooth black seat. I don't know why this guy is so angry. It's not my fault he was late.
I watch him as he walks to the other side of the car and jumps in. He doesn't smile at all. I wonder when the last time he laughed was. Probably not for a while. It's kinda sad in my opinion.
He starts the engine and we takeoff lifting into the air in flying over all the trees and right out of town. I sit impatiently awaiting my fait. This is so boring. This guy won't even play any music. Not like I'm going to ask anyway.
I realize the guy never introduced himself. "What's your name?" I blurt our without thinking. He doesn't even turn to me or acknowledge me. Just keeps staring forwards. I decide to do the same. Watching as we fly out of town and to somewhere unknown.

It's not long after that we land. It looks like some sort of army base. I didn't even know it was here. I turn as another droit opens my door and helps me out. "Welcome Lyra," he says while smiling. At least not all these droits are miserable.
I follow this new guy to launch pad where they have an even bigger hovercar.
"It's called a Warcraft," the nice droit says to me before leading me inside the Warcraft and into this tiny room with just a chair and a screen on the wall. "Please sit and wait patiently," the nice guy says before closing the door behind me, leaving me alone. I sit down on the chair. It's hard plastic. Not very comfortable at all.
I'm not sitting there long before the screen lights up and sounds fill the room with our nation, Paolo's national anthem. Then a lady appears on the screen. She's dressed in a suit and sitting at a desk.
"Welcome Lyra
We are happy to have you joining us in society after your quest has been completed.
As you know there are 3 house of our society. The Obsears who observe, the Leages who listen, and the Droits that do. Starting today you will be put through various tests until you complete your task and we will be watching to successfully put you into the right house of society.
Now there are only a few rules you need to follow.
First of all do not go outside the fence around the forest. It is a electric fence so if you touch it you will get electrocuted. No quests will require you to go outside the fence.
When you are done your task stay where you are and a Warcraft will come pick you up and take you to the correct placement.
The second rule is to not at any circumstances talk to another citizen, ask them for any sort of help or harm them. There will be twenty of you in the forest altogether.
The third rule is do not cheat in any way.
Lastly do your best and do whatever comes naturally to insure you are placed in the right house.
The quest lasts however long it takes you to complete it, there are no shortcuts.
Before we drop you off in the forest you will receive and backpack with a few necessary items. This is all you will be receiving.
One last thing is that everyone's quest is different and yours is created specifically for you. You will find out your quest when you open your backpack in the forest.

Just like that the screen goes blank and the door opens again. It's the same nice droit from before. "This is your stop," he says.
I follow him out of the room and he leads me down a hallway and as the back of the war craft opens I see the forest. The trees blow over from the air movement of the war craft landing but as soon as it hits the ground I'm  given a dark blue backpack.
"Good luck and may your candor be true." The nice droit says before gesturing me off the war craft. As soon as I'm off I watch as the door starts to close again and I realize that I never got the nice droits name. Too late now I guess.
The war craft takes off and in a few moments it's gone and I'm left alone in the forest.
