A little part of me hoped I would see Blossom at the church. I had not thought about asking about it when I was with her earlier. But she wasn't there, and all I could do was hope to see her again soon.

"This is why we need her number." The voice reminded me, as I walked down the school halls.

Can you not bother me while I'm at school? I need to focus on my work, and cannot deal with you at the moment.

"Can't multitask? Lameo, and isn't it the end of school?" The voice scoffed and I fought the urge to roll my eyes.

That's not even a word...I'm pretty sure. But I could multitask! I just needed to focus on school. I already had a certain someone on my mind that was slightly distracting me. And it was the end of the school day, but doesn't mean I should start slacking off.

I ended up walking straight into someone from being distracted at that moment. But it seemed it wasn't justy fault, they obviously were distracted too. Otherwise they wouldn't have walked straight into my chest.

We both stepped back, and I blinked when I realized the small fella was David. I was just a bit taller than him. His scowling face vanished when he looked up at me, and he cracked a grin.

"Hola mi amigo. (Hello my friend)" David said now walking by my side.

"Wasn't he going the opposite direction?" The voice asked a logical question, but I didn't have the time to explain to answer it. "Hey! He knows Spanish, ask him for some lessons to impress that girl."

I shook my head to ignore my conscious, and continue my way down the hall. While the voice was giving some good advice I had more important things to focus on. And I'm not sure when I would have time to learn Spanish, my schedule was usually packed. I started to regret not taking Spanish for my required foreign language class, but French had piqued my interests.

"Fancy meeting you here, aren't you always early to class?" David quirked an eyebrow at me.

"Usually, but with it being almost Friday people are running through halls." I explained walking to my AP Biology lab room.

"It sounds like you're not excited for Friday." he gawked at me then shook his head. "I guess I shouldn't be too surprised."

I opened the door of the lab room, and turned my head slightly in David's direction. "You should head to class now." I warned and he scoffed.

"I was just walking you to class." he grumbled before turning his back at me and walking off to his class now.

"I hope he doesn't like you too." The voice said suddenly and I rolled my eyes, then smacked my forehead.

I mumbled an apology for my behavior then went inside. This voice was a pain in my neck, I needed it gone. I wouldn't be able to pay attention with it in my head most likely, and I definitely needed to in this class.

All I could think about is wishing Blossom was at my school and was my partner. Instead I was stuck with a kid who didn't like doing his work, so of course it was all on me. While he wouldn't get the points and I would, it was still a lot to do on my own with no help. But...Blossom surely brought up my mood.

She was sitting across from me, her light eyes behind the huge goggles. Her bangs slightly over them, and those slightly large, round eyes looking up at me-

"You're spilling shit everywhere!" My partner spat in my direction, making me jump as Blossom's image in front of me vanished.

I looked down to see the vinegar being spilled on the table. "Sorry." I muttered placing the bottle of vinegar down, and went to work cleaning up my mess.

It would be easier if you helped! That's what I wanted to say, as I wiped up the table. But I knew better than to cause a scene with a person like him. It wouldn't do me any good, just cause more problems. So I only mumbled apologies to him and our teacher.

Thankfully before the final bell rang, I finished our experiment and the work for it for the day. I even finished the homework and my other homework, which thankfully wasn't with a partner too. Surprisingly, that voice seemed to disappear. I still haven't been able to figure out exactly when and why it disappears, or appear.

"So are you gonna ask David about Spanish yet?" The voice suddenly boomed, making me almost bump into my locker when I jumped.

"You alright dude?" Another voice asked, causing me to whip around to see David and Rashaad.

That definitely was not a coincidence, this voice in my head knew David was nearby. Just like how it knew Blossom was nearby that one time. The question was..how?

"Yeah." I finally answered with a nod. "Sorry, just um...realized I forgot one of my books in the bio lab."

"Well, lucky you that you're the last class in there. Better get going then." Rashaad laughed as I closed my locker.

"We'll go with you, the bus won't leave us." David said waving his hand.

"Our bus driver will leave us! You know she doesn't play any games." Rashaad glared at David, while they both follow me.

"It's okay guys, I'll just email my teacher about it. They always lock the lab when they leave it." I thankfully came up with and they nodded, as we made our way out of the school building.

"Now ask about Spanish! Stop wasting time!" The voice blared, ringing my ears making me grumble as I rubbed them.

"Hey David?" I said slowing down my pace, to be more in between David and Rashaad.

David glanced at me and quirked an eyebrow, as I cleared my throat and felt heat rise to my cheeks. Maybe this wasn't a good idea, my face felt like it was burning and my heart was beating a lot faster than normal.

"Dude, you look like you're going to confess to me or something-"
