34. Party Crashers and House Guests

CHAPTER 34
Party Crashers and House Guests

"Terra?" I heard Blake say and I frowned before lifting my head up from his chest to look at him.

"Is that Terra?" He asked, looking at someone at a distance and he let go of me before walking in that direction.

Ignoring the pain in my chest, I curiously followed behind him until we reached her.

There was a boy bent down with his head inside a trashcan and she was standing behind him, rubbing his back. I grimaced at the sight and after a few seconds, the boy lifted his head up and I realized it was Cole.

"Gross! You look disgusting!" I said.

"Why do you always have to be so rude?" Terra frowned.

"Why do you always have to crash every great party?" I asked.

"Cole drunk dialed me. So, I came here to get him." She replied.

"How are you going to get him home?" Blake asked.

"I don't know. I came here by the bus."

"I'll drive you." He offered and I clenched my fists hard, feeling my nails dig into my skin.

"That would be great. Thank you." She said with a bright smile which Blake returned.

"Do you think you could give me sometime to get him cleaned up?" She asked hesitantly.

"Sure. I'll wait here till you're done." Blake smiled and I rolled my eyes.

"Thank you." She said before helping Cole walk away.

"Look at you helping out your enemy to impress a girl." I said with an eye-roll.

"I'm just being nice." He said. "Do you have a ride home?"

"Nope."

"Then let me drive you." He said.

"With that bitch? No thanks."

"Lynne, you need to get home." He said.

"I'll call Asher."

"Fine." He sighed, "I'll wait with you until he gets here."

I rolled my eyes as I dialed Asher's number and waited for a few second before he picked it up.

"Helllll-Lowwww!" He said into the phone.

"Please don't tell me that you're drunk." I said.

"Aaam I?" He asked and I did a mental face palm. I frowned in confusion when I heard a lot of movement through the phone.

"Ohhhh Hazelll!" I heard him say and my eyes widened when I heard two moans from the phone.

"Oh my god! Are you having sex?" I asked with a horrified expression and I heard Blake chuckled beside me.

"Ohhhh my gawd! Aaaddy! He's soooo gooood!" Hazel moaned into the phone and I legit felt like throwing up before I quickly hung up.

"I am traumatized." I said and Blake laughed.

"Now can I give you a ride home?" He said.

"I'll just call my driver." I said.

"He's probably asleep." Blake said.

"Who cares?" I asked.

"I do", He said, "I don't want him to drive asleep and kill you in a car crash."

"Now that you've mentioned death, fine. I'll ride with you." I said.

"Great!" He grinned before wrapping an arm around my shoulder and placing a kiss on my cheek.

After a few minutes of waiting, Terra came back limping due to Cole's weight on her.

"Let me help you." Blake offered as he swung Cole's free hand over his shoulder.

They both dragged Cole out of the part as I followed behind them. We reached the car and I got in the passenger seat as Terra entered through the back door. Blake helped Cole in before he took the driver seat.

As Blake started the car, I turned around to see Terra slowly moving back a strand of hair that had fallen onto Cole's face with a smile as he rested his head on her lap.

"Ready to go?" Blake asked, catching Terra's attention who finally moved her gaze away from Cole.

"Actually, there is a problem." Terra said.

"What now?" I groaned.

"I can't take Cole home if he's drunk. His parents would kill him."

"Sneak him in." I suggested.

"There are cameras everywhere." She said.

"There's always a blind spot." Blake said.

"The maid's daughter wouldn't know where." I chuckled mockingly, "The cameras are to catch thieves. Some thieves live inside the house."

"I'm not a thief." Terra said.

"That would be something a thief says." I said.

"Lynne", Blake warned.

"Fine! What do we do now? Dump him in the streets?" I asked.

"We can't do that." Terra said.

"I was kidding." I deadpanned.

"You know what, he can stay over at my place." I suggested.

"No!" Blake argued.

"Why not?" I asked.

"What if he tries to take advantage of you?" He asked.

"Does that look like someone who has the energy to take advantage of me?" I asked, looking at Cole who was asleep on Terra's lap.

"Let's just drive him to a hotel." Blake said, ignoring my question.

"What hotel will let in a drunk underaged boy?" I asked.

"Tell them he's a Hamilton." Blake suggested.

"Then they'll call his parents." Terra said.

"Ask Asher to get a room in one of his hotels." Blake said.

"Asher's drunk out of his mind." I explained, "Why are we even having this conversation when he could just stay over at my place?"

"Fine. Whatever." Blake huffed, "But I'm staying with you."

"What? Why?"

"I'm not letting you stay alone with that dick." He said, making me roll my eyes.

We sat there in silence as Blake drove his car until my phone rang. I frowned at the unknown number before answering it.

"Who is this?" I asked immediately.

"It's Dylan." Came the reply and I mentally groaned.

"What do you want, Dylan?" I asked and I noticed Blake clench his fist around the steering wheel.

"I got your drink and I've been searching for you."

"I'm not there. I left the party."

"But, what ab–" I hung up, cutting him off and remained in an awkward silence throughout the entire ride until we reached my house.

Terra and Blake dragged Cole in as I followed behind them.

"You can place him on the couch and leave." I told Terra.

"I'm not leaving him alone." She said.

"He's not alone. I'm going to be there and so is Blake."

"Blake hates him and you're...... well......" she trailed off.

"You can't stay." I said sternly.

"But I can't leave him." She argued.

"You should be grateful that I'm giving him a place to stay."

"Lynne, can we talk?" Blake asked and I huffed before following him away from Terra.

"What?" I asked.

"Let her stay."

"No!"

"Just give them a room downstairs and we can stay upstairs. You won't even notice that they're here." He said.

"But what do I get from helping that bitch?"

"You don't get anything. But it'll make me really happy." He said.

"Fine. Whatever." I grumbled and a smile spread on his face.

He stepped closer to me and gently rested his forehead. "Thank you." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

He lifted his head and placed a kiss on my forehead before resting his against it again.

"You have no idea how hard it is to not kiss you right now." He murmured, tightening his grip around me and pulling me closer to him.

"Really? You want to kiss me for helping you woo your crush?" I asked and he pulled away from me with a frown.

"Lynne, I'm not trying to woo her. I'm just helping a friend out."

"Yeah, right." I scoffed.

"Let's just go back and give her a room."

"Give her a room? Or give Cole a room? You're so caught up with making Terra comfortable that you keep forgetting that we're actually doing this to help Cole." I said.

"I don't care about him." He mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and walked back in to the living where Terra sat on the edge of the couch where Cole was asleep.

I picked up a pillow from one of the couches before aiming it at Cole's head, making him quickly jolted awake.

"Why would you do that?" Terra asked with a scowl on her face.

"To wake him up." I replied, "Will you carry this giant man baby if he's asleep?" I asked and moved her gaze to the ground.

"Follow me." I ordered and Terra nodded before helping Cole up.

After showing her the room, I went upstairs to my room where I found Blake walking around shirtless.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Getting ready for bed." He replied.

"You're not sleeping here."

"But–"

"No buts. You're sleeping in the guest room next to the laundry room." I said.

"But that's so far away from here." He whined.

"Exactly! I don't want you to sneak into my room in the middle of the night."

"I still might." He said, making me chuckle.

"No, you'll be too lazy to. Now get out." I said, pushing him out of the room.

He turned to face me and placed a kiss on my cheek before walking out of the room.

With a smile on my face, I climbed on my bed before pulling the covers over me.

I tossed around in my bed and I couldn't get any sleep so I got up and walked towards Blake's room. I opened the room and felt confused when I found it empty. I heard some sounds coming from downstairs and I frowned before following the noise.

I reached the living room entrance and peeped in to see Terra and Blake sitting on the couch.

"He has been acting weird since yesterday." Terra complained.

"I think he know about our kiss." Blake said.

"What? How?"

"Lynne knows about it. I think she was at my house that day."

"Oh my god!" She exclaimed, "What is she going to do me?" She asked him and I rolled my eyes.

"She's not going to do anything." He said, "At least not to you."

"What do you mean?"

"She broke up with me." He whispered sadly.

"I'm sorry." Terra said, "I feel like it's my fault."

"It's alright. You didn't know." He said.

"I'm really sorry, Blake. But I never wanted to ruin things between you two." She said, making me roll my eyes again.

"Who knew one kiss could lead to all this?" Blake asked, letting out a humorless chuckle.

"I'm worried about Cole. I hate it when he's not talking to me." Terra said sadly.

"Don't worry. He'll come around." Blake assured and Terra smiled at him.

"I wish you both would get along." Terra said, "Then he wouldn't be so upset about me hanging out with you."

"I wish you and Lynne would get along." Blake said and I grimaced at the thought.

"But she's drugged me and got m–"

"Let's not go there tonight." Blake chuckled and Terra rolled her eyes before slowly leaning her head on his shoulder.

He smiled at her and wrapped an arm around her, making my chest tighten and I quickly turned around, moving my gaze away from them.

"You seem sleepy." I heard him say to her, "I guess it's time for us both to get to bed."

"You're right." She said.

I looked back to them and saw her place a small kiss on his cheek. They smiled at each other before she got up from the couch and walked in the direction of her room. He watched her as her figure disappeared before getting up and heading towards the stairs.

I quickly ran upstairs before he could see me, trying my best not to make any sounds. I entered my bedroom and softly closed the door before curling up in my bed.

I tightly shut up my eyes close when I heard my bedroom door open. I heard footsteps walking towards me and in a few second, I felt a blanket cover me.

I still pretended to be asleep as a hand slowly caressed my cheek before a pair of lips gently kissed it.

"Goodnight, Lynne." He whispered, resting his forehead on my temple. He placed one last kiss on my cheek before I heard his footsteps walking away. A few seconds later, I heard the sound of the door closing before opening my eyes and sitting up straight, staring at the door.

I sighed and glanced at my phone on the nightstand before taking it and dialing the last number on my recent call list.

"Hello?" Devin or Dylan or whatever his name was said, picking up the phone.

"It's Addelyn." I said.

"Hey Addelyn. Why did you call?" He asked.

"How about you come over? Just make sure to be quiet."
