33. Awkward Rides and Boy Toys

Chapter 33
Awkward Rides and Boy Toys

The day he first kissed me, that was one of the best days of my life. Thinking back to that day, I remembered how I had an actual chance to be with him, but I blew it. I wish I could go back and change it all, but I couldn't and now it was all over.

I sighed and stuffed all my books into my locker after the last period before turning towards Hazel and Kate who stood by my locker.

"Whose place are we going to?" Kate asked.

"Mine." I replied.

"Did any of you drive here?" Hazel asked, "I was too sleepy so my driver brought me here."

"I came here with Jack." Kate said before turning to me.

"I drove here with Asher." I said before I suddenly remembered something. "Oh my god! I promised Blake that I would let him drive me home."

"Great! Ask him to drive us too." Kate said.

"Well, there's one problem." I said hesitantly.

"Let me, guess. He won't let me inside his car." Hazel said.

"He probably won't. But that's not it." I said.

"Then?"

"I broke up with him today." I said, "Sort of. If you could call it that."

Hazel and Kate stared at me with wide eyes before shouting "What?!" in chorus.

"When?" Hazel asked.

"Why?" Kate asked before I could reply to Hazel.

"How?" Hazel asked and I rolled my eyes.

"We'll talk about this once we reach home." I said, "I don't even know if he would give me ride home now."

"He probably would." Kate assured and I gave her a small smile.

I walked out of the school with them following behind me and he was actually there, leaning against the hood of his car.

"You go talk to him. We'll wait here." Kate said and I smiled at her before walking up to him.

"Lynne", he smiled before standing up straight.

"Hey", I said in low voice and looked up at him with a smile.

He walked closer, taking every step cautiously before he was in front of me. His eyes bore into mine as he slowly caressed my cheek, making it feel like it was burning up in flames.

"This is going to be so hard for me, Lynne." He whispered.

"We'll get used to it." I said and he looked at me sadly before placing a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Let's go." He said and grabbed my hands.

"About the ride......" I trailed.

"You don't want to ride with me anymore?" He asked worried.

"No, that's not what I meant." I said, "There's this party tonight and Hazel and Kate are coming over to my house to get dressed." I said and he groaned.

"Why can't they just get dressed at their own house?" He asked.

"We went shopping last week and all the clothes are at my house." I explained and he rolled eyes. "So, can they ride along?"

"Kate can." He said and I chuckled.

"And Hazel?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Please, Blake." I begged, giving him a pout that I knew was adorable and he groaned.

"Fine. But only for you." He said and I grinned before gesturing them to come over.

I took the front seat as Kate and Hazel sat in the back.

"Are you going to the party, Blake?" Kate asked as he started the car.

"Please don't." Hazel said and Blake took a deep breath before turning to me.

"I'm going to kick her out of my car." He said and I chuckled.

"Hazel, be nice. Blake's helping us." I said and she murmured a "whatever".

"And I wasn't planning to go to the party." He said, "But I'm going just because Hazel asked me not to."

"No!" Hazel whined and I chuckled.

For the rest of the ride, Hazel sat there with a pout on her face until we reached my house. Hazel immediately got out of the car and walked towards my house while Kate and I looked at her with amused looks on our faces.

"Thanks for the ride." Kate told Blake before getting off the car and following behind Hazel.

I turned towards Blake with a smile before getting up from my seat and leaning in closer to him. I placed a lingering kiss on his cheek before moving my face in front of his.

"Thank you", I said, "I know it's all a little weird after this morning."

"That's alright, Lynne. You're my best friend and I'll do anything for you." He said, "Although, sitting in a car with Hazel was a little extreme." He joked and I laughed.

I wrapped my arms around him and placed another kiss on his cheek.

"See you at the party." I said before getting out of the car.

I walked up to my front door before unlocking it and entering along with Hazel and Kate.

"Now, spill it!" Hazel demanded.

"I saw him kiss Terra." I said.

"Why didn't you tell me that before he left? I would have plunged his guts out!" Hazel shouted.

"That is exactly why I didn't tell you before he left." I rolled my eyes, "Besides, he didn't really do anything wrong. He can't help it if he has feelings for her and not me."

"You're way better than her." Kate said wrapping an arm around and I smiled at her.

"Well, he does not think so." I whispered softly.

"Who cares what he thinks? He's just a brain-dead oaf!" Hazel shouted and I rolled my eyes.

"But seriously, what are you going to do now?" Kate asked.

"Nothing. What am I supposed to do?" I asked as I sat down on the couch.

"Addy, you can't give up on love." She said, sitting down next to me.

"I just did." I said, "It just wasn't meant for me, I guess."

"Everyone deserves love, Addy." She said.

"I never said that I didn't deserve it. I meant, it's just not my thing." I shrugged, "Being in love has been the worst thing that I've ever felt. But at the same time, the best. And that's a feeling only he can give me."

"Then don't let go of him." Kate said.

"I'm not." I smiled, "I'll always love him and I'm never leaving his side. But I'm not going to keep pushing him around for my selfish reasons. I just want him to be happy even if it's with someone else."

"Well, if not him, you could always find someone better." Hazel said, taking my other side on the couch.

"No, I don't want someone better. He was all that I wanted." I said, "But now, I think that I'm better off alone."

"Do whatever makes you happy." Hazel said, placing a hand on top of mine and I smiled at her.

"Now, we have a party to get ready for." I grinned.

He placed kisses on my neck as his lower half grinded against mine, pressing me closer against the wall.

"Blake", I moaned, feeling his very prominent boner against my core.

Suddenly, the kisses on my neck stopped. "I'm not Blake." He said.

"Right. What's your name?" I asked.

"You don't remember my name?" He asked.

"Am I supposed to?"

"Yes," He replied, "I told you my name five minutes ago. And I am in your chemistry class."

"Whatever. Just tell me already." I commanded.

"Dylan." He said.

"Okay, Dylan. Continue." I ordered and he nodded before moving his lips to my neck again.

He started chewing on my skin and a disturbed frown appeared on my face.

"Dylan, you're doing this all wrong." I said and he stopped to look at me, "Are you trying to eat me up?"

"I–"

"Just do something else." I said and he nodded before capturing my lips in a kiss. I smirked against his lips and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer.

He pulled away from the kiss and looked at me.

"Let's go to one of the rooms here." He suggested and I shrugged before walking up the stairs knowing that he was following me.

As soon as we got into the room, I unzipped my dress and let it fall to the floor before smirking at Dylan who stared at me with lust.

He crashed his lips on mine before pushing me to the bed until I was lying on it with him hovering over me. Just as the kiss got heated, he pulled away from me and brought his face in front of mine.

"Call me daddy." He commanded.

"No"

"Please, call me daddy." He begged.

"You're lucky I'm not calling you ding dong."

"Please, Addelyn. I just want to hear it." He said and I pushed him away from me.

"There are other guys at this party." I said, getting up from the bed.

"No, no, no. I'm sorry. You don't have to call me daddy." He said and I sighed.

"I'm not drunk enough to do this. Let's go get something to drink." I said as I picked up my dress and pulled it over me.

Dylan nodded and followed me as I walked out of the room.

"You go get the drinks. I'm going to go dance." I ordered as I walked over to the group of kids grinding against each other.

I started dancing and after a few minutes, I felt a pair of arm wrap around me. I smirked before grinding against Dylan and he froze for a second before his lips found their way to my neck.

He slowly started nibbling on my skin and a moan escaped my lip as I arched my neck, giving him more access.

"You're getting good a this, Dylan." I moaned and his lips left my neck.

"Dylan?" My eyes widened at the voice and I immediately turned around.

"Blake?" I asked, surprised.

"You thought I was someone else." He sighed in disappointment.

"Yes, I thought you were someone else. What were you doing? Friends don't do that." I scolded.

"I came here to give you a friendly hug and you started grinding against me. I thought you changed your mind about the friend thing." He said, lowering his head.

"I didn't know that it was you." I said before turning around. I was about to walk away but stopped when I felt him grab my hand.

"What?" I asked, turning around to face him.

"Dance with me." He said, "Just as friends."

"Alright, fine." I said and he smiled before taking both my hands and wrapping it around his neck. He placed his hands on the sides of my waist and pulled me closer to him before swaying our bodies together.

"Why are we slow dancing?" I asked as he moved us slowly against the fast beat of the song.

"Why not?" He asked.

"No one slow dances at a party like this and this song does not kill me with boredom." I said.

"Who cares? I'm really enjoying this." He said, pressing my body closer to him. I rolled my eyes before leaning my head against his chest, listening to the fast rhythm of his heart despite the loud music.

"This is actually nice." I said and he hummed in response.

Ignoring all the weird glances from the other students, we slowly swayed holding each other. Though we were in a huge party filled with people, it felt like it was just him and me.

And it was the best feeling ever until the next word that fell out of his mouth.

"Terra?"

Author's Note

Hehe....... you're gonna see a lot of Terra now. I mean, it is the nerd and they player cliche. We can't have that cliche without the nerd. And now that Addy's out of the way.......

P.S. I love pizza.
