23. Dejected Hearts and Tipsy Disasters

CHAPTER 23
Dejected Hearts and Tipsy Disasters

Can this all just be a nightmare?

I wish this wasn't real but it was. That actually happened.

My perfect fairytale came to an end because I wasn't a good enough to be a princess to my prince. But flawless little Terra probably is. She's not selfish. She's not inconsiderate. And she's not controlling. She's the ideal princess and I'm the evil witch who keeps driving her away from him.

I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted with the sight of Blake sitting on a couch in my bedroom, staring at his phone.

After I got home from the diner, I immediately went to bed. I didn't say a single word to him. I didn't know what to say. I love him. But instead of showing him that, all I did was hurt him.

As soon as Blake noticed my open eyes, he got up and walked over to the bed.

He kneeled down next to me with a faint smile on his face. "Hey"

"Umm, hey." I greeted back.

"I got you breakfast." He said before quickly getting up, walking over to the table and taking a plastic bag out.

"McDonalds breakfast meal, no eggs with hot chocolate." He said handing over the packet. "Just the way you like it."

"Thanks." I said. taking it from him and placing it on my nightstand.

"Well, it's actually the evening right now." He said, climbing on the bed and lying down next to me. "You could have it as dinner maybe." He suggested and I nodded.

He looked at me for a few second before lifting this hand to softly caress my cheek.

"I'm sorry, Lynne." He said, "I'm really, really sorry. I said some things in the moment of anger and I didn't mean it."

"It's fine." I said.

"No, it's not. I was really out of line, Lynne. Please don't be mad at me." He begged.

"I'm not mad at you." I said, "I deserved that."

"No, you didn't. Lynne, you didn't deserve that. I shouldn't have said that." He said, closing his eyes with a sigh.

"It's alright, Blake. You were right."

"No, I wasn't. I didn–"

"Can you stop disagreeing with everything I say?" I asked.

"I'm sorry." He said.

I smiled and kissed his cheek before getting up from my bed.

"Why don't we go out?" I asked.

"Go out?" He asked raising an eyebrow and I nodded.

"Alright." He smiled, "Where do you want to go?"

"Let's go get a drink." I said, making him frown.

"Are you sure?" He asked, "If you still have some problems about this morning, I don't think you should be drinking."

"No, I'm sure I want to drink." I said, "Jack's Club?"

"Okay." He said unsurely.

"Call Asher and ask him to invite the rest." I told him and he nodded. "Oh, also call Luke. Asher would never invite him." I said and he chuckled before walking out of the room.

I entered the bathroom and walked up to the mirror to examine my face. My nose was an awkward shade of red and I had a little mascara smudged around my puffy eyes.

I sighed before brushing my teeth putting on all the makeup I can to make my face presentable before exiting the bathroom and entering my closet to get changed.

Satisfied with how I look, I exited the closet and saw Blake sitting on my bed, going through his phone. As he heard my footsteps, he lifted his head up from his phone and smile appeared on his lips on seeing me. He got up from my bed and walked over to me.

"You look gorgeous." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my forehead. His eyes bore into mine, making my heartbeat erratically.

No, don't get distracted!

"Let's just leave." I said, breaking out of the trance and pulling away from him. His smile fell and he looked at me with guilt before nodding and leading me to the car.

The car ride to the club was pretty silent. As the car stopped in front of the club, we got out of the car and Blake rushed to my side.

Jack's family owned the club, so we could get in even though we were underaged.

I started walking and as Blake walked beside me, he hesitantly took my hand in his and looked at me, asking for permission. I pretended not to get the signal and looked forward as I subtly removed my hand from his.

He lowered his head and stuffed his hands in his pocket as he continued walking beside me.

"Lynne, wait!" He said.

"If you're still mad at me th–"

"I'm not mad at you, Blake." I said, cutting him off.

"You're lying." He said.

"Aren't you my personal lie detector?" I asked, "Does it look like I'm lying?"

"No", he mumbled.

"That's because I'm not." I said.

I wasn't lying because I wasn't mad at him. I was just upset that the one I loved wasn't happy with the kind of person I was.

I wasn't good enough for him and all I wanted to do was to get drunk and forget this day ever happened. I just wanted to go back to yesterday; back when I still had the hope that maybe he could love me back.

Blake's ringtone blared from his pocket and he fished out his phone before looking at the caller ID.

"It's my mom." He sighed, "She's probably worried that I haven't been home in four days. Please, just wait here." He said before walking away.

Wait? Yeah right.

I walked towards the entrance of the club and eyed the long line in front of it. I smirked at them before making my way to the front of the line.

"Ms. Frederick", The bouncer greeted with a small bow before the stanchion barrier was lifted for me.

I took a final glance at all the middle aged losers who watched with ajar moth as I entered the club.

Ignoring the loud music and lustful glances thrown my way, I walked to the bar.

"Tequila shots." I ordered to the bartender.

"How many?"

"Just keep it coming." I said as I took a seat on the bar stool.

The first shot came and I downed it with the utmost excitement.

The second one came and that glass was also emptied within a second.

Then the third.

Then the fourth.

Then the fifth.

Then I ran out of fingers to count on so I kept drinking.

"Lynne"

I turned around with a big smile on my face.

"Blakey!" I squealed and hugged him tightly.

"Where the fuck were you? I've been searching for you for the past half an hour!" He shouted.

"Shot?" I asked, shoving a shot glass to his face.

"No! Lynne, how much did you drink?"

"I didn't driiink." I giggled. I looked around at the weird surrounding.

So many people........

I slowly leaned in closer to his ear, "I lied." I whispered, making sure that no one else heard me.

"I knew that already. And you didn't have to shout in my ear." He said.

"Shhhhh." I snapped at him. "Dooon't tell anyonnnee"

"I'm taking you home." He screamed out sooo loud.

"Noooooooo", I whined.

"Finally! You found her." My head turned a full three-sixty-seven degree to meet Ashy.

"You're heeere!" I squealed, hugging him.

"I am. And you're very drunk." He said. My eyes widened as I pulled away from him before turning towards Blake with a glare.

"Youuu told himmm!" I accused, pointing my non-weird looking finger at him.

He sighed and shook his head.

"Asher, can you text the rest of them saying that we found her?" Blake asked.

Asher nodded but I didn't care because I was looking at the person behind him.

"Kate!" I squealed.

"Hey, Addy!" She smiled so weirdly!!

"Whyy're you shmiling like thaaaat?"

"Addy, I'm not smiling."

I giggled, "Yer weirrrrd."

The floor wiggled as I walked towards the bar again.

"Katey! Try this!" I said, giving her a shot glass.

"What is this?" She asked and took it from my hand.

"It's steaaak."

"Steak?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, "Addy, you don't drink steak."

"It's liquid steaaak." I replied.

She laughed and downed the shot before coughing like an idiot.

"That was disg–" She never finished the sentence as she ran towards the nearest garbage can and threw her head inside.

"Katey!" I giggled and walked towards her. "Yer pregoooo."

"No, I'm not." She said, lifting her head up, "That thing tasted like shit."

"Can I get two glasses of water, please?" It was Blakey's voice!!

I turned towards him and watched as the bar dude handed him two glasses. He gave one glass to Kate and held glass-two to me.

"Take this."

"Noooo!" I said.

"It's vodka." He said.

"Okie!" I grinned and grabbed it from him before drinking the whole thing.

I giggled. "Vodka tashte weirrrd."

"That's a different type of vodka. Isn't it nice?"

"Noo! It shucked!" I said.

"One more!" He shouted to the bar dude.

The bar dude brought another glass of vodka and gave it to Blake.

"Drink this. Let's see if this is better."

"Noo!"

"Come on. Be a good girl and drink this." He said.

"I'm a good girrrl." I said before taking the glass from him and drinking it.

"How was that?" He asked.

"Me no likey!" I said and he sighed.

"Blakey!" I called, "I need to tellll you a shecret." I said and beckoned him to come closer.

"I have to go to the little Addy'sh room." I whispered.

He chuckled, "Ladies' room."

I frowned. "It's Addy'sh roooom."

"Alright. It's Addy's room." He agreed and I nodded, "But you can't go there alone."

"Blakey, yer sooo naughty." I giggled, "But ookay." I said as I pulled him towards the Addy's room.

"I'm not coming with you." He laughed, "I'll ask Kate or Hazel to accompany you."

"Nooo! They'll see my private Addy parrts."

He laughed again, "No, they won't. They'll wait outside. Kate just puked, so I'll go find Hazel. You wait here."

I nodded and he kissed my forehead.

"Byeeee!" I told Blakey as I watched him walk away.

I shrugged and turned around as I walked towards the Addy's room. I saw Jack and Cole talking by the bar.

Forget Addy's room.

I giggled as I started walking to Jack.

"Jackyyy!" I squealed throwing my arms around him.

"Hey, Addy!" He smiled, pulling me away from him.

"Kate ish pregnant!" I grabbed his shocked face in my hands. "Yer going to be a daddy, Jacky!" I squealed.

"W-What?" He asked with googly eyes. Goooooggglyyy. "I-I need to go." He said, pulling my hands away from his face and running in the other direction.

I giggled before turning towards Cole who wore a surprised look.

"Kate's pregnant?" He asked and I nodded excitedly.

"I'm going to be a nieeece!" I giggled.

"I think the baby is going to be the niece." He said and my smile dropped.

"I.... want to be the niece!" I said sternly.

"Okay, you're really drunk." Cole noted, "So, I'm guessing Kate's not really pregnant."

"She ish!" I shouted.

"If you say so." He said, rolling his eyes.

"Yer funny!" I giggled. "And hottt!"

"Umm.... thanks." He said and I grinned.

"Coley", I called and he hummed.

"Do you want to have sex with meee?" I asked, moving closer to him.

"N-No." He said.

"You rejected meee." I pouted. Suddenly, nothing seemed funny anymore.

"Addy, I'm sorry." He said and my eyes started getting wet.

"Oh no!" Cole panicked, "Addy, don't cry."

"You don't want me." I said with a pout. "You hate mee."

"It's not like that, Addy. You know I love Terra." He said.

Terra. He said Terra and more tears fell from my eyes.

"Oh shit! Sorry, sorry, sorry. Please, don't cry." He said softly as I started sobbing.

"I'm not T-Terra."

"Addy, that's alright."

"No, it's not." I shouted, "He won't lovvve me." I whispered.

I wrapped my arms around Cole and rested my head on his chest. "Why...... won't he love meee, Cole? Am I that baaaad?"

"No, Addy. You're not bad."

"Yesh, I am. I'm a bad pershon. That's why no one wants mee." I cried, feelings my tear wet his shirt.

"Addy, you're not a bad person."

"I'm a bad pershon." I cried. "No one loves meee."

"Add–" Cole stopped suddenly.

"Lynne?"
