14. Party Hook-ups and Bitter Quarrels

CHAPTER 14
Party Hook-ups and Bitter Quarrels

WARNING: As the title suggests, there are going to be a few steamy scenes in between. I can't put a warning sign before every one of them because there a lot of them. So....... enjoy.

I had fixed goals for tonight's party: wear a hot dress that could give any guy a boner, get totally hammered and then have sex with a random guy that I won't ever be seeing again; three steps to having a Blake-free mind for the night.

Forgetting about a guy you love is not easy even if it's just for one night. But you could always try.

Unless he shows up at your doorsteps right before the night begins.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I miss you." He replied as he stepped closer to me.

"I just texted you in the morning." I pointed out.

"No, I texted you and you replied with one-word answers." He corrected.

"Lynne, don't you think I've noticed that you've been avoiding any real conversations with me for the past one week?"

"I was really busy with school and I couldn't get distracted by you and your sex crazed thoughts." I reasoned.

"You can't lie to me, Lynne. I know this about the ball."

When I didn't reply, he stepped even closer and cupped my cheeks in his hands.

"If you don't want to talk about whatever is bothering you, you don't have to tell me anything right now." He said to which I nodded.

"But promise me that you'll tell me everything whenever you're ready." He said.

"At the right time, I will." I told him with a smile.

A right time that will never come if he ends up falling for that good for nothing piece of shit.

With a smile, he pulled me into a warm hug and he rested his head on top of mine which leaned against his chest.

"Don't ever avoid me like that again. Do you know how hard it was for me?" He mumbled into my hair.

"I'm sorry." I said.

He pulled away from the hug and looked at me. "Are you ready for the party?"

"Nope, I need to find something good to wear." I said as I started walking upstairs to my bedroom.

"What's wrong with what you're wearing now?" He asked as he followed up behind me.

"It's not good enough." I said, looking at the mirror once I reached my room.

"I think you look amazing." He said as he hugged me from the back.

"But I need something that would dazzle everyone. Not just you."

"But they don't matter. I'm the one who's going to take it off you anyways." He said as he softly kissed my neck.

"Who said anything about you being the one to do that?" I asked.

"Lynne, you've barely even talked to me for the past one week. So, I want tonight to be about just the two of us. No other guys and no other girls. What do you say?" He asked as he turned me around to face him.

I wanted to say yes to that, but I had to keep my goals in mind. Tonight was supposed to be a Blake-free night. It was about time that I finally got a grip on myself and let go of these stupid feelings.

But that's really hard to do when he's looking at me like that.

Oh, fuck those goals.

I pulled him by the back of his neck and kissed him deeply, letting him know how much I missed him. He responded back with the same energy, making my heart go wild inside my chest. By placing his hands on the back of my thighs, he pushed me upwards and I wrapped my legs securely around his waist as he pushed me against the wall.

His lips left mine and he started placing soft kisses down my neck as his thumbs drew circles on my bare thighs.

"Blake" I managed to breath out, "The party"

"Fuck the party." He mumbled against my skin, "I want you now."

I pulled his face away from my neck and brought it to the front of my face.

"If we go to the party, we could get drunk and you could grind against me to trashy music, then bang me until I'm screaming your name." I whispered in a sultry voice and my lips curled up as I watched his eyes grow darker.

"You're making me so hard." He groaned.

"I happen to have that effect on guys." I smirked, "Now put me down so I could get dressed. You can wait here."

He did as I said and I walked into my closet.

After around two hours, I was ready and Blake drove us to the party.

We entered the house and were welcomed with a loud blast of music. A lot of familiar faces came over to greet us with fake smiles and insincere hugs.

On the way, I grabbed a bottle of beer as Blake dragged me to the middle of the living room where people sloppily danced to unintelligible music.

"Want some?" I shouted over the loud music as I held my bottle towards him.

"Nope, I'm driving." He shouted back.

He grabbed my waist and pulled me towards his chest as my hands circled around his neck. He rested his forehead on mine and I could feel his hot breath fan over my face. His placed a soft kiss on my nose before trailing his lips down to meet mine. He immediately connected them and what started as a slow, soft kiss turned out to be a hot, passionate make-out session, making my knees buckle under the pleasure.

The grip around my bottle of beer loosened and it fell to the ground, spilling the drink and shattering the bottle into tiny little pieces.

I pulled away from the kiss and stared at what used to be my bottle of beer.

"I'm going to get another one." I said and turned around.

Just as I was about to walk away, Blake grabbed my wrist and pulled me back towards him.

"Forget about the drink. I want you to be sober enough to remember everything I do to you tonight." He whispered huskily and I grinned before pulling his head closer to mine and crashing my lips into his.

He slowly nibbled on my lower lip, causing me to open it and grant him entrance. Our tongues danced together as our holds on each other tightened.

"Let's take this upstairs." He mumbled against my lips. I grabbed his hands before pulling him up the stairs and pushed him into the first empty room I could find.

"That dress has been teasing me all night." Blake said as he locked the door behind him.

His hand moved to my back and he slowly unzipped my dress. As soon as it dropped to the floor, his lips were on mine again. He trailed his hands down my curves, and then to my thighs before finally picking me up, making me wrap my legs around him. He slowly carried me to the bed and gently placed me on it before hovering over me.

My hands slipped under his shirt and I was about to pull it off before his phone rang, interrupting us.

"Who the fuck is th—" His words came to a halt as he looked at the caller ID.

"Hello" He spoke into the phone, sounding a little out of breath from our previous make out session.

He listened carefully to the person on the other line. "Yeah, I'll be there in a second." He said before hanging up.

"Lynne, I need to leave."

I quickly sat up straight. "Who was that? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"No, Terra's at the party and she needs a ride home." He replied.

I gave him a stupefied look, "You're kidding me, right?"

"Lynne, I—"

"I thought there was something serious for you to actually leave me like this." I shouted, gesturing to my exposed body.

"I'm sorry, Lynne. She said that she needed a ride home urgently and she didn't know who else to ask. How could I have said no?"

"'No' is a simple word Blake. Is she seriously more important to you than me?"

"Of course not, Lynne. I'll drive her home and I'll come back to you."

"Don't." I said, "If she's such a big priority to you, then go fuck her and leave me alone."

He closed his eyes and sighed, "Lynne, it's not like that. You are my priority."

"Then stay." I whispered.

"Lynne, I can't leave her alone here. She had no one else to call." He said and brought his hands up to caress my cheek but I moved away from him. A flash of hurt passed through his eyes before he dropped his hands to his sides.

He got off the bed and walked towards my dress which was lying on the floor. He picked it up and came back to me, then placed it in my hands.

"Please wait for me. I'll be back as soon as possible." He said but I didn't respond. I kept my eyes fixed on my dress, refusing to meet his gaze.

He lifted my head up with a finger so that my eyes would meet his. "Tonight is about you and me. I won't forget that. I'll drive her home and I'll be right back."

He placed a kiss on my forehead before walking towards the door. I heard the sound of the door unlocking before it was opened and then, slammed shut.

I let my head fall back onto the pillow with a groan and pulled the covers over me. I laid there for a few minutes, which felt like forever, before getting up and putting my dress on. I walked over to a mirror and fixed my hair before walking out the room.

The party was still alive with the music being louder than ever. I saw someone walking around with an unopened bottle of beer and I grabbed him by his shirt.

"Give me that." I ordered.

"But –"

"GIVE IT!" I shouted, causing him to flinch. He quickly handed it to me before running away. I rolled my eyes before opening it and chugging down the whole bottle.

"Hey baby" I felt a hand grip my waist.

I turned around and my face scrunched up as I eyed the guy up and down.

"Don't dream big, honey." I told him before removing his hands from my waist, "You don't get to score with girls like me."

Leaving him stunned, I found my way to the kitchen to get more to drink when I saw Cole leaning over the kitchen counter holding a bottle to his lip.

"You look like shit." I commented as I grabbed a red cup and stood next to him.

"What a boost on my confidence!" He exclaimed sarcastically.

"What's wrong?" I asked lifting the cup to my lips and taking a sip from it.

"I had a fight with Terra." He replied.

"I can relate a bit to that." I sighed, "Anyways, what did you fight about?"

"She likes him." He responded dryly.

My heart suck down, already knowing who he was talking about.

"Why him? Why not me?" He asked in rage before taking the last huge gulp from his bottle.

"That's the exact question I keep asking." I whispered more to myself.

"I should have never forced her to come here in the first place." He sighed before lifting himself away from the counter, "I need to go find her."

"Cole, she left." I informed.

"What?"

"She left with Blake." I replied.

"Of course, she left with him." He mumbled leaning back on the counter, "I'm guessing he was with you before that."

"Yep, he left me naked on one of the beds here."

"That must've sucked." Cole commented.

I let out an unamused chuckle and looked at him only to find him already staring at me. Flashes of my fight with Blake ran through my mind as I leaned in closer towards Cole, letting my lips slightly brush his.

"I need a distraction."

As soon as the words left my mouth, his lips crashed against mine with my hands finding its way around his neck to pull him closer to me. He lifted me up and settled me on the counter before easily slipping his tongue into my mouth. His hands roamed around my body before slipping under my dress to exert a hard grip on my bare thighs.

A moan escaped from him as I tightly tugged on his hair while our lips fought against each other.

He pulled away from the kiss, seeming out of breath.

"My place or yours?"

"Mine" I breathed out.

He helped me down from the kitchen counter and we rushed out of the house, hand-in-hand, until we reached his car. He roughly slammed me against the door of the passenger seat and started leaving open mouth kisses down my neck.

He bit down on my skin and I let out a whimper due to the pain which slowly subsided into pleasure as his tongue swirled around the bitten skin.

I moaned his name out loud but immediately felt a rush of cold air, opposed to Cole's warmth, as he was pulled away from me.

"What the hell, Blake?" I shouted at him as he scowled at Cole.

"What the fuck were you doing with him?" He shouted back.

"That is none of your business."

"I think it is."

"How?" I yelled, "You're not my boyfriend or keeper. You are nothing to me, Blake. So, you have no rights to decide what I do and with whom I do it."

His face clearly showed hurt as he took a deep breath, "Lynne, why are you doing this? I thought tonight was about you and me."

"It was, until you left me."

"I came back." He whispered.

"Too bad, because I don't wait around." I spat.

"Lynne, I–" He didn't get to finish as he was pulled away by his collar.

"Where the fuck is she?" Cole snarled at Blake.

"I was in the middle of something." Blake glowered at him.

"Where is she?" Cole repeated, still clutching Blake's collar tightly in his fists.

"She's at home. Apparently, she wasn't enjoying your company." Blake said as he shrugged his shirt off Cole's grip.

Cole's jaw clenched, "I want you to stay away from her."

"And why would I do that?"

"Because she's mine." Cole replied in a dangerously low voice.

"Really?" Blake let out a sarcastic laugh, "That explains why she was desperate to get away from you."

Cole's face turned red with anger as he brought his right fist up and delivered a strong blow onto Blake's face. With the sudden hit, Blake stumbled a few steps back but caught himself before falling.

"Holy shit!" I cursed as I rushed to his side.

His eyes remained fixed on Cole as he took a lunge forward and swung his fist to connect with Cole's jaw sending his head flying sideways.

"BLAKE!" I shouted as I grabbed his arms before he could hit him once again. He looked at me and his eyes softened for a second before he was pushed backwards by Cole.

"Cole, don't do this." I warned but ignoring me, he walked towards Blake and was about to throw another punch before Blake blocked his fists and pinned him to ground.

"STOP!" I shouted and my eyes widened as Cole hit Blake hard on the jaw only to receive a blow straight to his nose. Cole clutched his nose tightly but at the same time, lifted his knee up and brought it hard onto Blake's thigh.

Blake dropped a right hook onto Cole's temple and soon, I lost track of who was hurting whom.

After all my protests were ignored, I tightly closed my eyes and lifted my legs up before swinging it in the direction of the two boys sprawled on the ground. I felt my sharp, pointed heel dig into someone's muscles simultaneously followed by a painfilled scream from Blake.

Bingo!

"What the fuck, Lynne?" He asked turning around to look at me, "You could've poked my eyes out."

"But I didn't." I said, "Now get off him."

He mumbled profanities under his breath as he got off Cole and lifted the back of his hand to wipe the blood dripping down his lower lip.

"Get up." I order Cole and with a glare directed towards Blake, he listened to me too, wincing in pain as he stood up.

"What the fuck were you two doing?" I shouted as I walked in between them, "Don't you see what she's doing? There was a time when you two were friends. And now look at you fighting with each other like dogs over that worthless bitch."

"Don't you dare talk about her like that." Cole growled stepping closer to me.

"And don't you dare talk to her like that." Blake snapped at him as he stepped in between Cole and me.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him aside. "I don't need you to speak up for me."

"And you", I said as I poked Cole's chest with my finger, "I will call her bitch, a whore, a skank. What are you going to do about it?" I challenged. He clenched his jaw and turned his face away from me.

My lips curled up into a smirk, "Just as I thought."

"Now, you two morons can continue fighting or whatever. I'm leaving." I said before walking out the gates.

I heard footsteps running towards me, making me throw my head back as I internally groan.

"Lynne, stop!"

I ignored him and kept walking until I felt him grab my arms.

"Lynne, let me drive you. You can't walk all the way home." He said.

"I can and I will." I pulled my hands away from his grip and started walking in the direction of my house.

After a few seconds, I felt his footsteps fall along mine.

"Just go away!" I yelled in frustration.

"Hey, all I'm doing is walking. It's a free country, you know." He shrugged.

"Walk all you want." I said, "Just not next to me."

"I'm just randomly walking on these streets. It's not my fault that my path happens to be right next to yours." He replied casually.

"Oh my god, you're so annoying." I huffed and he chuckled lightly.

"Lynne, you have two options: one; walk all the way to your house with me by your side, which by the way, is going to take at least 45 minutes. Or you can just get in my car and you'll only have to endure me for 10 minutes. Which sounds better?"

I sighed, "Fine, we'll take your car. But I don't want you to say a single word to me. Do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am." He grinned with a mock salute and turned around, walking towards his car with me following behind him.

And as promised, he didn't say a single word to me throughout the entire ride.

Author's Note

So, that had a lot of action (in two senses). And this is probably one of my proudest chapters.

I have a great thing for love-triangles (I'm sure you've noticed)

I know that a lot of people disagree with Blake leaving to help Terra. But think about it in this way:

You're at a party with this really hot person who wants to have sex with you. And you're really excited, you've gotten a room and is naked.

Then one of your friends call you up and ask you for a ride home and she tells you that she had no one else to call. This friend of yours is not used to parties, got drugged and sexually assaulted at the last party she went to and she sounded pretty upset (Cuz she just fought with Cole).

And then you just go like, "Wtf No! Call an uber or something. I'm gonna go fuck a hot girl. Buh-bye!"

Don't think about it from Addelyn's POV, or Blake's, or Terra's. Think about it from a normal human's POV. How heartless and inconsiderate would that have been if Blake said no to her?

Yes, Addy was hurt by it. But there's only one Blake and he had to make one choice because he can't be at two places at once. This isn't a choice between which girl he loves more. It's simply a choice about which one of them needed his help. He did the morally right thing to do and helped a girl who asked for a simple help.

In many situations, Blake's just showing a little humanity towards Terra that Addelyn refuses to show.

You need to remember that Addy's is the POV of a mean girl. She's selfish sometimes, and in this case, she was only thinking of herself whereas Blake thought of Terra. It does not mean that Blake wasn't thinking of Addy—it's just that what Addy needs [sex] was something that could wait.

Terra needed a ride home and she sounded vulnerable because of her fight with Cole. And she told Blake that she didn't know who else to ask. The humanity in Blake [which Addy lacks] said yes to Terra.

And yes, people complain about it being disrespectful to Addy. But again—he can't be at two placed at once and he had to make a choice. Each choice would be disrespectful to the other. He chose the morally right one.
