Iseul was in Soyoung's room, putting things in place when she saw the carnations drying out of nowhere, "How did that happen?" She wondered when Eunsang came into the room and looked at Iseul with an icy glare, "You have the antidote for the poison that your mistress uses on her nails, right?!"

Iseul looked at him suspiciously but nodded.

"Give it to me right now...or else...." Eunsang pulled out a dagger and pointed it towards her

Without having any other options, Iseul quickly grabbed the antidote from Soyoung's table and handed it to Eunsang.

Eunsang smirked, "Thank you!" As he turned around to leave, he paused and looked at Iseul again, "You might want to check on your mistress!" He smirked and left the room.

Iseul's eyes widened, "W-What did you do?!" She quickly ran towards the royal dining hall.

Eunsang went back to his king who was breathing heavily and lying on the bed, the poison taking a toll on his health. Eunsang had already dressed his wounds and now he gently pulled Sian's chin and made him drink the antidote. After about five minutes, his breathing seemed normal and he looked at Eunsang and smiled.

"How are you feeling, my king?" Eunsang asked, caressing his cheek.

"Like my usual self!" Sian winked and sat up on the bed. He held Eunsang's hands and made him sit beside him, "Listen, let's have a baby right now....after all the hard work, I finally have my hands on the spiritual stone...so let's do it before someone else tries to take it away from us!"

"But, my king...are you not feeling low on energy?" Eunsang asked, getting concerned.

"No! My spiritual powers are just fine!" Sian took out the spiritual stone from his pocket.

"What about the yin and yang balance, my king?" Eunsang asked, looking at the stone, he clearly looked nervous.

"Don't worry...I am the son of the devil himself...I believe I can activate it without the balance!" He smirked and closed his eyes. Soon a dark aura surrounded him and the stone started to float just above his palm. Sian furrowed his brows as he began to concentrate and beads of sweat formed on his forehead. Soon, even the weather outside became blood-shot red out of nowhere. Eunsang watched the whole thing with anticipation when Sian grabbed Eunsang's hand tightly and the dark aura surrounded both of them. The king, with the help of the stone, Eunsang's power and his own spiritual powers, created a baby boy who was floating in front of his fathers surrounded by the dark smoke.

Eunsang extended his arms and grabbed the baby, "Oh...hello, little one!" He gently touched the baby's soft skin and the baby giggled. The baby had the same jade-coloured eyes as Sian.

Sian opened his and looked at the baby while panting as he had used lots of energy for the process.

Eunsang wiped Sian's sweat with his sleeve while saying, "My king, we are finally fathers!" He sniffled and rested his head on Sian's chest while holding the baby in his arms.

Sian smiled and stroked his hair with his left hand and the baby's cheek with his right hand, "I feel like I am complete now!"

The baby held Sian's forefinger and cooed.

Eunsang giggled at the baby and then asked, "What shall we name him?"

"He is no ordinary child...he is a spiritual soul. So he shall be named Jeongryeong!" Sian said and took the baby in his arms, "How like your name, my child?"

The baby giggled as a response and Eunsang couldn't help but smile as he whispered his child's name, "Jeongryeong..."

On the other hand, Yunki successfully hypnotized the guards and the knights were able to get out of the dungeons but soon to their horror, they saw their wedding rings losing their colours and the sky becoming blood-shot red.

"Something has gone terribly wrong!" Jin frowned.

"The rings...I hope Soyoung is fine!" Jeongguk swallowed a lump in his throat.

"I do not have a good feeling about this...someone has activated the spiritual stone!" Yunki felt uneasy about the situation as he looked at the sky.

"Let's not waste time here...let's go and check what is wrong...." Namjun said and they all ran towards the palace.

When Iseul and the knights reached the dining hall, they saw a pool of blood and the bloody knife and nothing else.

"What has happened here?!" Yunki gasped in horror.

Iseul trembled at the sight and looked around for Soyoung, "SOYOUNG!!!! SOYOUNG, WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Jeongguk called the maids and servants and asked, "Where is Her Majesty?"

"We didn't see her leave the dining hall, sir. We just saw His Majesty and Lord Eunsang leave!" One maid confirmed. Jin grabbed her hand and looked straight into her eyes as he read her mind, this startled her and she froze in her place.

"She is speaking the truth!" Jin confirmed.

Hosung scanned the room and saw that there weren't even any windows or other doors, "How is that possible?"

Before they could investigate further, they heard the royal summoning bell, indicating that an urgent royal meeting was summoned by the king. The knights, in the hope of finding answers, quickly went to the hall but made sure to hide because, in the king's view, they were still locked up. The entire court gasped and started murmuring when they saw Sian entering with Eunsang who was holding a baby in his arms.

Sian sat on his throne and Eunsang sat down on the queen's throne which startled the entire court and everyone was confused. Sian looked at the court and said, "Silence!" The entire court went silent as Sian began to speak, "I am declaring a state of mourning as Queen So has suddenly passed away!"

A hush fell over the court and the knights looked at each other in disbelief and confusion. They felt like Sian was lying and he was up to no good so they didn't believe a single thing he said.

"Unfortunately, the late queen's corpse has gone missing! I am deeply hurt by her sudden demise but, her throne can't be kept empty. Thus, I am declaring Jang Eunsang as my officially wedded husband and the king consort!" Sian smiled at Eunsang and gave him his appointment scroll and the queen's phoenix seal. Eunsang was happy that he finally got the recognition he waited for so many years. The entire court was confused and in disbelief but no one dared to question Sian's decisions.

"And..." Sian took the baby in his arms, "This is mine and Eunsang's child, Choi Jeongryeong, the heir to this throne and your crown prince!" Sian declared and gave the crown prince's appointment scroll to Eunsang too. The entire court was confused but they bowed while chanting, "Long live the king! Long live the king consort! Long live the crown prince!"

The knights left the throne room in disbelief, feeling confused and shocked.

"If Soyoung had really died, her spirit would have come to meet me! I know she is alive...that king must have locked her somewhere..." Jimin clenched his jaw.

"There's no corpse...we didn't see her death...we can't believe she died based on the king's words!" Jeongguk frowned.

Hosung looked at the birds chirping and tried to communicate with them to know about the whereabouts of Soyoung. "They don't know about anything!" He sighed.

Namjun closed his eyes but he couldn't see Soyoung anywhere in the palace, "She is not here..."

Taehyun knelt on the grass as tears rolled from his eyes, "SOYOUNG!!!! WHERE ARE YOU??!!! PLEASE RETURN TO US!!!!"

"Wait...I see the spiritual stone..." Namjun said with his eyes closed.

"Where?!" Jin asked, coming near him.

Namjun opened his eyes and said, "In His Majesty's room!"

"That is our last straw....." Yunki said and the knights very carefully sneaked into the king's room.

Namjun pulled out the stone from the king's drawer as all the knights gathered around him.

"Please get activated....please help us find Soyoung...please..." Jin pleaded but nothing happened with the stone. They all held hands, closed their eyes, and tried to concentrate but still nothing happened.

"Oh look...who do we have here!"

The knights turned around and saw Sian leaning against the wall.

"WHERE IS SOYOUNG?!" Jimin asked and tried to go near towards him but an electric golden rope restrained them all.

"Ugh..." They all struggled and felt pain as they tried to set themselves free.

"Don't struggle so much..." Sian snatched the stone from them and smirked, "As I said...your wife died...I am sure you all saw a dagger in the dining hall?! That is made from merman scales and is used to kill two-tailed cats like her!" He laughed menacingly, "But seems like you all need proof...here...let me show you!" Sian closed his eyes and transferred memories of Soyoung's last moments to the knights.

Silence fell upon the group, the weight of their shared loss almost suffocating as they all regretted what they told her when they last saw her in the dungeons.

Jin said with a trembling voice, "N-No...she...she was our everything....how could you do this?!"

Tears welled up in Taehyun's eyes as he said, "N-No...this can't be real...."

Hosung's voice cracked as he said, "How could you commit such a heinous deed? HOW COULD YOU TAKE HER AWAY FROM US???!!!!!"

Jimin frowned, still in disbelief, "UNTIE US!! LET'S HAVE A FIGHT!!!!"

Jeongguk clenched his chest as tears fell from his eyes, "We cannot let her sacrifice be in vain. We will kill you, Sian!"

Yunki nodded while glaring at Sian, "Exactly! We owe it to her. She meant the world to each of us."

The men exchanged determined glances, a silent vow passing between them.

Taehyun looked at his wedding ring and said as tears rolled down from his eyes, "We'll honour her memory. We'll make sure her legacy lives on."

Namjun clenched his fists and looked at Sian, "You're a monster!!!"

Sian just grinned and replied, "Ok! Enough chatting...I gave you all enough time to process this. Now, let's talk about business....your wife's last wish was to keep you all alive! And since I am a man of my word I'll fulfil her wish, so I can't untie you all and fight because you all will end up dying. But since you all committed a crime...punishment must be given!"

Sian walked towards Jin as a dark aura surrounded him, "Hmmm....so Jin can read mind, huh?" He cast a spell on him with a sinister smirk, "From now on, whoever you'll touch with your bare hands, will burn down!"

Immediately Jin felt a burning sensation on his palms, "NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY MY POWERS! YOU ARE A COWARD!! WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT LIKE A REAL MAN?!" Jin screamed in agony.

Sian moved towards Yunki, "Hypnotism? You won't be able to see from now onwards!"

"WHAT? NO-UGHHHH...." Yunki covered his eyes and screamed in pain as tears of blood flowed from his eyes, taking away his vision.

The other knights stared in horror, "STOP! STOP! PLEASE!!!" Jin cried but Sian didn't listen as he moved towards Hosung next, "How interesting...you can talk to animals? How about don't speak at all?!" He laughed like a maniac.

"YOU-......" Hosung coughed some blood and his voice was gone. Hosung touched his throat and tried to shout but only gasps came out of his mouth.

Namjun looked at Sian as he approached him, "SIAN! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!"

"Why? Because if I don't take away your powers, you all will create trouble for me!" He laughed and stared at him, "You can see things with your closed eyes, right? From now on, when you'll close your eyes, you'll only see terrible nightmares!" He proceeded towards Jimin who glared at him, "Can see supernatural creatures? Same punishment as Yunki!" He laughed as he saw Jimin covering his eyes in pain and screaming in pain.

He walked towards Taehyun and looked at his legs, "You can run as fast as a cheetah? From now on, you'll walk while limping!"

"Ahhh..." Immediately, Taehyun felt pain in his right leg and felt it going numb. As he was about to fall, Namjun grabbed him for support, "Taehyun..." He hugged his brother as both of them cried in each other's arms.

Lastly, he went towards Jeongguk and smiled.

"You'll suffer in hell!" Jeongguk growled.

"Oh! Hell is my realm though!" He laughed, "You can do telekinesis? I am taking away your vision as well!"

Jeongguk screamed in pain as blood started to come out from his eyes as well.

Sian laughed and snapped his finger, unrestrained the knights, and left the room, feeling satisfied.

"Drag them out of here!" He ordered the guards.

Later that night, after Eunsang's eunuch fed the crown prince milk and made him sleep, Eunsang went to his husband's room. As he entered the room, he saw Sian staring at the dark moonless sky from his window.

"Hello, husband!" He went near him and rested his head on his shoulder.

Sian smiled and pulled him closer by his waist, "I am tired today...let's go to bed!" He kissed his forehead and guided him to the bed.

"Of course, you are, my king...today was energy draining...even I feel tired!" He chuckled and lay down on the bed with Sian after blowing out the candles in the room.

The next morning, Eunsang woke up next to his husband and looked at his peaceful sleeping face. The golden sunlight was kissing Sian's face and that made him look like a handsome Greek God. Eunsang smiled and kissed his forehead, "Good morning, my king!" He smiled but soon realized something was wrong...Sian's body was eerily still.

"Si....Sian?!!!" Eunsang grabbed him and shook him, "SIAN?!!! WAKE UP!!!!" To his horror, Sian wasn't breathing and his body was cold.

He checked his body but didn't find any injuries or anything suspicious. Eunsang quickly called the physicians who immediately came into the room and checked him.

"H-His M-Majesty has left us!" They knelt before the bed and bowed while sobbing.

Eunsang stood there in horror as tears rolled down from his face.

Maybe it was karma that hit Sian or maybe it was something or someone else but the people who would have felt better about seeing this, were nowhere to be found. The seven knights disappeared like Soyoung's corpse and one other person who had disappeared mysteriously was Haejun. Not only that, even the spiritual stone was nowhere to be found.

The entire kingdom observed a state of mourning and was covered in black as it prepared for Sian's funeral. Iseul, Wook, Seojun, the two mothers of the knights, the other council of ministers, the harem members along with Ming all were present during the funeral ceremony but only Eunsang cried his heart out on Sian's casket while holding the crown prince in his arms. The others were mourning for other reasons. Iseul, Wook, and Seojun were mourning for Soyoung while the two mothers were mourning for their children and Ming was deeply saddened by Haejun's disappearance.

Finally, as the guards prepared to bury the casket, lightning struck the casket and lit it on fire. Everyone started screaming in horror and evacuated the place but Eunsang stood there with the crown prince, holding three golden coins in his hand. He looked at the casket and said, "The son of the devil can't die...he'll return...I know....he has to return...for me!" He wiped his tears and looked at the coins, "He promised me to be with me even in the afterlife and the next life!"
