Soyoung and Jeongguk were riding the horse,

"Your clothes are way too oversized for me! Jimin's clothes fit me a bit better." Soyoung complained.

"Is stealing your husbands' clothes a side effect that comes with being a cat?!" Jeongguk asked

"Shut up!" Soyoung hit him on his back playfully as Jeongguk chuckled.

Their horse was passing by a carriage when they both heard a familiar cry, "MOTHER!!! FATHERRRR!!!!"

Both of them looked at the carriage and saw Donghyung with some other kids and armed men.

"Huh? Donghyung?!" Soyoung was surprised to see him and so was Jeongguk.

"STOP THE CARRIAGE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Jeongguk ordered in a demanding voice as he stopped his horse in front of the carriage.

"What do you want?!" The coachman asked.

"Are you slave hunters?!" Jeongguk asked getting down from the horse. Soyoung got down too.

"Its none of your business!" A man came out of the carriage and glared at Jeongguk.

"FATHERRRR!!! MOTHERRRRR!!!!" Donghyung came running out of the carriage but that man grabbed him.

"Hah! Mother? Father?"

"Let me go.....let me goooooo" Little Donghyung struggled.

"Let him go right NOW, YOU FOOL!" Soyoung half yelled at him.

"Wahh really?! You are the first woman I am seeing who is so bold-"

"DIDN'T YOU HEAR HER? LET. THE. CHILD. GO!" Jeongguk yelled at him.

"YAA WHY DID YOU BOTH THEN SELL OFF YOUR SON IN THE FIRST PLACE? YOU DON'T EVEN LOOK SO POOR!" The man yelled.

"I DIDN'T SELL HIM! I GAVE HIM UP FOR ADOPTION!" Jungkook yelled.

"Ok! Even if I believe that then this is business for me. I can let him go if I get something in return!" He looked at Soyoung and smirked, "I need her-"

Hardly did he finish his sentence when Jeongguk's sword was against his neck.

"I will give you nothing and take all the children away from here safely!"

The other men that were in the carriage got out of the carriage and pointed their swords at him.

"Hah! Do you think you'll win against us?!" The man smirked.

"We'll see that....why don't you all try moving your swords?!" Jeongguk smirked.

"What?! MEN ATTACK HIM!"

"RAAAHHHH!" The men tried to attack him but they couldn't move their swords.

"W-WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" The men were confused.

Donghyung took this moment and ran towards Soyoung. Soyoung picked him up and hugged him tightly, "Oh boy, are you hurt?!"

Donghyung was crying and couldn't form any words but he shook his head no.

"I'm sorry you had to go through this, Donghyung-ah!" She rubbed his back and patted on his head to calm him down, "You must be so scared!" She sighed and put him on the horse, "Sit here ok?! Let me go and help your father-"

Soyoung felt a grip on her hand.

"Alright....let me see which one of you I must kill first?!" Jeongguk looked at the men.

"PUT YOUR SWORD DOWN AND I MIGHT LET YOUR WIFE LIVE!"

Jeongguk turned around and saw the coachman pointing his sword at Soyoung.

Before Jeongguk could do anything, Soyoung dug her nails on the man's neck. His skin pierced and blood started to ooze out.

"AHHHH!" He fell down holding his neck, feeling a sharp pain.

"You've been injected with poison and you will die within thirty minutes if you don't drink this antidote!" Soyoung took out an vial from the pouch that was tied around her waist, "TELL ME WHERE YOU WERE TAKING THESE KIDS AND I MIGHT LET YOU LIVE!"

"W-we were going to sell them off as slaves!"

"Who are these kids?!" Jeongguk asked.

"They were taken off from their parents because their parents couldn't pay the taxes!"

Jeongguk opened the carriage door and saw 6 kids. The kids were frightened to see Jeongguk.

"Don't be scared! I'll save you all!" He assured them and closed the door.

Jeongguk went and sat on the coachman's seat.

"YAA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Their boss yelled still struggling to move.

"You'll find out soon!"Jeongguk smiled.

Soyoung, on the other hand, got up on Jeongguk's horse, "Donghyung-ah, hold me tightly ok?!" Donghyung held Soyoung tightly as she took the reins in her hands and looked at Jeongguk.

Jeongguk nodded, turned the carriage around and rode away with it.

"Hah!" Soyoung followed him with the horse, "HERE YOU GO!" She threw the antidote towards the men as Jeongguk snapped his fingers and they could finally move.

"Huh? Your child?!" The lady, who was looking after Jeongguk, was shocked. She first looked at Jeongguk and then at Soyoung who was holding a sleeping Donghyung in her arms.

Jeongguk nodded, "Yes! Can you please look after him while we are gone?!"

"Ahh yes yes!" She took Donghyung from her arms.

"Thank you!" Soyoung bowed.

We'll be back soon!" Jeongguk said, "Lets go Soyoung-ah."

"Father...mother where are you going?!" Suddenly Donghyung woke up and asked.

"Ahh we've some work...we'll be back soon ok?!" Soyoung patted on his head.

"I'll put him to bed. You both can go!" The lady said as Soyoung and Jeongguk both nodded and mounted the horse.

"Sleep, little one!" The lady patted on the boy's head and started humming a tune.

Jeongguk stared at the lady, "That tune..."

"Is there something wrong?!" Soyoung asked.

"Huh?! Oh its nothing! Let's go!" Jeongguk patted on the horse back and it started to walk.

Soyoung turned around to look at the lady.

At Cha mansion,

Yunki was hurriedly passing by Lady Park's room holding some herbs.

"YUNKI SIR!"

Yunki frowned but put up a fake smile and turned around to face lady Park.

"Where are you going? I was waiting for you~~~"

"I am going to lady Soyoung!"

"Oh but she is with Jin sir tonight!"

"Is that so?! Ok then I'll find miss Iseul!" Yunki said and walked towards the end of the corridor. Lady Park sighed and was about to go back inside her room.

"Miss Iseul....can you come outside for a bit?" Lady Park heard Yunki knocking on the Iseul's door. "Miss Iseul?!" Yunki knocked again but there was still no answer.

Lady Park turned around and smiled, "Yunki sir!!! I think I know where miss Iseul is!"

"You do?" Yunki can towards her and raised a brow, "Where is she?!"

"Follow me, sir!" She smirked.

Lady Park took Yunki in front of Jin's room.

"This is Jin hyung's room!"

"Exactly! Earlier I saw lady Soyoung on the corridors but her hands looked rough so I believe that miss Iseul in her disguise."

"What nonsense are you saying?!" Yunki looked disgusted.

"Pardon my boldness, sir but I've seen miss Iseul around Jin sir way too much. I feel like she is trying to seduce him." She bowed.

"You're such an insolent woman. Your acts disgust me-"

"What is happening here?!"

Both lady Park and Yunki turned around to see lord Cha and lady Cha. Both of them bowed.

"Its nothing father-"

"My lord, I was only telling Yunki sir that I've seen miss Iseul around Jin sir way too much lately and I believe that she is trying to seduce him and I also believe that she has disguised herself as lady Soyoung and is spending tonight with Jin sir."

"WHAT?! Jin!!!! Come out with that woman right now!!!!!!" Lord Cha ordered.

Jin opened the door and came out...he was in his night suit.

"What is happening, father?!" Jin asked.

"WHERE'S THAT WOMAN?!" He asked.

Iseul came out slowly...her face was covered in a veil.

"Why is that woman wearing a veil in the house?!" Lord Cha pointed at Iseul. "Lift your veil!!!!!" Lord Cha ordered.

"Father! You can't-"

"Jin, lady Park is doubting that you're with miss Iseul instead of lady Soyoung tonight. She must be thinking that she can do whatever she wants now that she is going to be mistress of the house." Lady Cha glared at Lady Park, "Let me prove her wrong!" Lady Cha went towards Iseul as Jin's eyes widened.

"Mother-"

She lifted up her veil and everyone was startled.

Soyoung and Jeongguk stood at the backside of courtesan house and looked at each other.

"Are you raedy?!" Jeongguk asked and Soyoung nodded.

Soyoung pressed her ears on the wall and said, "There's no one near!"

Jeongguk nodded and jumped over it and landed inside. Soyoung followed his lead.

"Woah didn't expect you to be this good at jumping?!"

"Might be a side effect that comes with being a cat!" Soyoung shrugged.

"Fair enough!" Jeongguk smirked and they both went towards the courtesan lodgings sneakily.

There were two guards in front of the entrance. Jeongguk picked up a stone from the ground and threw it on the opposite direction. The guards looked at the direction and drew their swords, "Who is there?! Show yourself!" They ran towards that direction.

Jeongguk grabbed Soyoung's hand and ran inside the lodging. Both of them were tiptoeing down the corridor when they heard two courtesans giggling. Jeongguk quickly pulled Sooung in a dark corner, pushed her against the wall and pressed himself against her to hide from the courtesans. Soyoung's eyes widened and she felt blush rising to her cheeks as she looked at him. The courtesans passed by them while chatting without being aware of their presence.

"Phew! They're gone!" Jeongguk looked back at Soyoung and looked into her eyes, he could feel his heartbeat rising.

"T-they are gone?!" Soyoung asked.

"Ahh...y-yes!" Jeongguk replied moving away from her.

That's when they heard footsteps again.

"Aish...I've so many clothes to wash. I don't get paid enough for this!" They heard a maid's voice.

As the maid passed by them, Jeongguk held his sword on her neck from behind and Soyoung covered her mouth with her hand.

"MMMMMM~~~~" The maid struggled.

"We're here to find lady Park's room. Lead us to her room." Soyoung said.

"And don't dare to scream else you'll lose your head!" Jeongguk warned and the maid nodded her head vigorously.

The maid guided them to Lady Park's room.

"It's locked! Open the door!" Soyoung said.

The maid pulled out a bunch of keys from her pocket and opened the door with shaky hands.

"Good job!" Jeongguk gave her a gold coin.

"T-t-thank y-you, y-young master!" She bowed with fear.

"Now go away and forget what you saw." Soyoung said.

Jeongguk, "If you tell anyone about this then we'll find you and......"

"......tear you apart! Got it?!", Soyoung completed his sentence.

"M-my lips are sealed!" She covered her mouth, bowed to them and ran away as fast as she could.

Jeongguk and Soyoung smirked at each other and went inside the room.

At Cha mansion,

All the knights, Lady Park and Lord and Lady Cha were all gathered in front of Jin's room.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF ALL THESE??????" Lord Cha yelled.

Iseul was terrified. She was sweating as she swallowed a lump in her throat.

"WHERE IS LADY SOYOUNG AND WHY IS THIS WOMAN DRESSED LIKE HER?!" Lady Cha asked Jin in disbelief.

"Pardon my interruption but I believe Lady Soyoung did this because she didn't want to spend the night with Jin sir....this is such an insult!" Lady Park said in a sad voice.

"Why this-" Jimin was about to step in but Hosung grabbed his arm.

"Don't complicate things more, Jimin!" Hosung whispered in his ears.

"I agree! Let Jin hyung handle this!" Namjun whispered and Jimin stepped back with a sigh.

Yunki grabbed Taehyun and asked in a whisper, "What exactly is happening?!"

"Fate!" Taehyun sighed, "Its a long story hyung!" He patted on his shoulder.

"THIS IS A DISGRACE TO OUR FAMILY!!!!" Lord Cha proceeded to hit Iseul.

Iseul flinched but Jin came in between them just in time.

"FATHER, I INVITED HER TO MY ROOM!!!"

Lady Cha stumbled.

"WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?! WHY WOULD YOU INVITE HER?!" Lord Cha glared at Jin.

"Because she sings well! I wanted her to sing a song!" Jin explained.

"Is that so?! Then why is she dressed like that?! AND WHERE IS LADY SOYOUNG?!" Lord Cha asked.

"Here I am!" Soyoung came out of Jin's room while yawning. She was in her in a loose night gown and her hair was down. "And I asked Iseul to dress like that because I believe in dressing the part

Everyone was shocked to see her.

"Is there a problem?! Ahh I don't remember falling asleep while listening to your song, Iseul! You are too good!" Soyoung patted on her back.

Jin turned towards Lord Cha, "Are you satisfied now, father?!"

"Do you think I am a fool?!" Lord Cha glared at Jin, "When I asked for lady Soyoung to come out, she is the one who came out!" He pointed at Iseul.

"And I clearly saw Hosung sir addressing her as lady Soyoung!" Lady Park insisted.

"Father, you said call that 'woman'. So I thought you were referring to Miss Iseul because it was a too informal way for addressing the wife of your son. I'm sorry...my bad, father" Jin said and Lord Cha cleared his throat.

"And I'm the one who asked her to dress like that because she was a singer tonight not my lady-in-waiting." Soyoung explained.

"And I didn't know that she was miss Iseul because her face was covered." Hosung said.

"But-"

"ENOUGH!" Yunki cut off lady Park. "I'm so sick of your nonsense!" Yunki glared at her.

"Yunki sir-"

"Return back to your room and wait for me, Lady Park! We need to talk!" Lady Cha ordered coldly.

Lady Park glanced at Soyoung and then stormed away to her room.

Soyoung smirked looking at her.

"I still-" Lord Cha was cut off.

"My Lord, look at this beautiful couple!" Lady Cha smiled shyly, "Why are you still doubting them?!"

Lord Cha looked at them and cleared his throat while turning away from them

Both Jin and Soyoung looked at each other. Both of them were in their night attire with their hair down. Both of their eyes widened when she understood what she was implying to.

"NO!" Both Jin and Soyoung said in unison.

"Ok we'll leave you now! Good night!" Lady Cha smiled at them, "Everyone!! Go to your own rooms!" She said and grabbed Lord Cha's arm, "Lets go to our room, my lord!" She left with him.

Iseul released a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Iseul, are you ok?!" Soyoung hugged her and asked. Iseul rested her chin on her shoulder and nodded slowly, "Are you ok?!" Iseul asked back and Sooung nodded.

"How did you get inside?!" Jin asked.

Soyoung broke the hug and smirked at him, "I....."

*Flashback*

Jeongguk and Soyoung sneaked inside Cha mansion when they heard lord Cha yelling.

"Oh no! I think father just found out that you're missing!" Jeongguk said.

"I've a plan!" Soyoung said and went inside Iseul's room through the window. She grabbed a night gown, quickly got changed into it and opened her hair. After that she sneaked inside Jin's room through the window.

*flashback end*

"....that's what happened!" Soyoung explained.

"Phew! You came back in the right time!" Taehyun smiled.

"And where is Jeongguk?!" Hosung asked.

"He went back to Jeolla province to bring back Donghyung!" Soyoung replied.

"When did you even go out?" Yunki raised a brow.

"A kitty can go anywhere anytime, hyung!" Jimin smirked looking at Soyoung and Soyoung's eyes widened. She looked at Iseul and Iseul pressed her lips together and nodded slowly.

"What on earth are you implying?!" Yunki looked confused.

"Its a long story, hyung!" Namjun patted on his back.

Soyoung changed the topic, "Yunki, I've finally found a way to kick out lady Park and bring down Lord Cha!" She smirked and took out a ledger from her her sleeve.

At the palace,

"Ahhhh I'm so done with this queen selection process!" Sian groaned while laying on his bed.

"My king, its just 2 more tests left!" Eunsang said while massaging his feet.

"Right! What is tomorrow's test?!" Sian asked taking the glass of wine from the table.

"Table manners!" He said.

Sian sat up and smirked, "Interesting!" He squished Eunsang's cheeks with one hand, forcing him to open his mouth. Eunsang tried to say something but Sian poured the wine in his mouth with his other hand and then kissed him as Eunsang's eyes widened. "The wine tastes better like this!" He whispered, cupping his face.

"M-my king...." He blushed.

"Do you want to see an interesting game tomorrow, Eun?!" Sian laid down putting his head on Eunsang's lap.

"Tomorrow whoever will fail, will be drowned to death.....hahahah..." He giggled and Eunsang joined him while stroking his hair.

"Your Majesty!!!" The head Eunuch knocked on the door.

"His Majesty is resting, what do you want?!" Eunsang asked.

"Umm....sir, the former minister of justice is here!" The head eunuch said and Sian sat up.

Sian looked at Eunsang and both of them smirked at each other, "Is this jackpot, Eun?!"

On the other hand, in the harem, all the ladies were terrified and practicing pouring tea properly to not fail the test.

"I know I can ace the table manners test too but the final test....the test of wisdom will be the most difficult one!" Yeji thought to herself while biting her nails anxiously.
