Y/n even told him stories that his father told her when Shanks and his crew were on Dawn Island. She helped Usopp take care of his ill mother and made sure the boy was well taken care of before leaving the island

A woman's voice echoed in Doflamingo's ear as the tall man actually flinched, backing away from a terrifying aura of a young woman wearing an outfit that resembled the Pirate King himself and her crew aiming their weapons at Doflamingo. "Two choices for ya, flamingo head, either run and live another day or take a shot and die." She said holding her diamond cutlass blades against his throat while a f/c dragon made of pure haki roared around her body as Doflamingo ran off, the young woman ordered her ship doctor to get to work on the blonde man in front of them bleeding out from fighting and two well placed bullet wounds. "Get him on the ship and treat him. I'm going to find that kid." She said while walking throughout the village to see a crying teenager with a snow leopard themed hat. "Hey, kid, come with me." She said while dodging a snowball sent her way. "I saved your father, kid. I owed my Gramps's boss a favor." She said before knocking the boy out with her Conquerors Haki and took him to her ship as it sailed off towards the main Marine headquarters. "Yeah, I got them both, uh huh, I don't leave debts unpaid Sengoku. You're welcome, and remember I did you a kindness now your boy works for me under my protection, a Yonko is better even as a Yonko Warlord." She said before hanging up as her ship's doctor came in, reporting that the man was stable and the kid was sleeping soundly. "Good, tell me when those two both wake up."
