Y/n leaned against the Moby Dick railing, listening to Ace arguing with Whitebeard and his family about going after Teech for not only trying to murder Thatch but wounding his older sister. A slow sigh left Y/n's lips before she slowly walked towards Ace and grabbed him firmly by the shoulders, and turned him around to look straight at her e/c eyes.

Y/n: "Ace, enough Teech didn't get the chance to kill Thatch or me it doesn't matter!" She shouted out while Ace looked down at her bandaged stomach.

Ace: "And what if he had, huh?!" He shouted out as the two siblings pushed their foreheads against another in challenge. "If Teech murdered you in front of me.... no, I don't want to think about it, I'm going to find Teech and kill him for hurting you!" He exclaimed out as he shoved his sister aside while Marco and Thatch caught her as he grabbed his bag to go to his devil fruit powered ship.

Y/n: "Ace, don't go, please. I promised our parents that I'd protect you!" She shouted out, which made Ace freeze as tears slowly started falling down her face.

Ace: "I never asked you to protect me, N/n." He said before leaving as Y/n ran over towards the railing and shouted at him to come back, but he just ignored her cries and sailed off.

Y/n's e/c eyes widened in disbelief before her hands shot up to her head and screamed out in pure agony as images filled her mind from her advanced observation haki, but the ones that struck her heart most were a war against pirates and marines, Ace in chains, Luffy fighting amongst strong foes to save Ace, then Ace dying to protect Luffy as a fist of magma pierced his chest right in front of her very eyes.

Y/n: "ACE NO!!!" She shouted out in disbelief till she saw it was a vision of a possible future. She panted heavily as Corazon carefully helped her off of the floor. "Corazon, set a course for Dawn Island it's nearly time for Luffy to set off on his own pirate journey." She said before looking over at all the loyal Whitebeard Pirates. "If I call you Uncle Newgate, then Ace needs us and every single alliance we've got under our banners." She said in a serious tone before leaving the Moby Dick and began sailing back to Dawn Island, Once she was in her office, Y/n contacted Aokiji and told him about Teech aka Blackbeard and he placed a bounty on his head.

Back at Dawn Island, after a few weeks at Sea, the treasure pirates were greeted warmly by their people.

Y/n smiled as children surrounded her with flowers, and everyone greeted her til she was pulled into a hug by a rubbery young man.

Luffy: "Big Sis, welcome home!!" He shouted out happily as Dadan pulled him off of his older sister.

Dadan: "Luffy, stop it. Can't you see that Y/n is recovering!" She shouted out as Luffy looked over at Y/n to see her left side now held a healing up but new scar.

Y/n: "Mama Dadan, I'm fine, really." She said as she alongside her crew and family entered her castle. "A life of a pirate is a dangerous one, remember." She said mainly towards a sixteen year old Monkey D Luffy who looked at her with remembrance. "Luffy, have you taught about what you want for your seventeenth birthday?" She asked while a knowing smile spread on her face alongside Luffy.

Y/n: 'Luffy, I believe that you can become King of the Pirates and carry on my father's legacy with everything in my heart.' She thought with a wide smile as she toasted Luffy on his seventeenth birthday and wished him luck on his own pirate journey.
