The waiting seemed like it was taking years to pass. It seemed time had slowed down just to add on to the stress of the situation. But soon someone exited the longhouse. It was none other then who I presumed to be the chief. He approached me and the lost boys and I quickly got up to greet him. "How." He said as he came up to me. I bowed before him to show respect. "Uh Yes.. how to you too.. uh how is Peter Pan doing?" I asked, not exactly sure how to speak to an Indian. "Come with me." He replies sternly and I nodded. He led me to a cliff at the edge of the village. I became nervous as to why we were here suddenly. "Did you do this?" He asked me while pointing to the coast and it's crystal clear waters. I nodded hesitantly. "Flying Eagle tells me you have great power. Indians owe you for making water clean again." I smiled sheepishly. "Oh it was nothing! I honestly don't really know how it happened..." "can you do it again?" He asked me, sternly once again. I put a finger on my chin as I thought. "I'm not sure, but I could try." He nodded and took me to an area that looked like it was once a small garden. "Make plants grow again." I nodded and got on my knees. I touched the brittle stems of the dead plants. I hoped to find one sign of life in them. But there was none. These plants were just about as dead as you could get. I sighed as I tried again, stroking the dry stalk. Nothing. I got up and turned around. "I'm sorry, I tried." "Not sorry. You did job." The chief replied with slight joy. "What? What are you talking about?" I asked but he simply pointed to the field behind me. I decided to turn and see what all the fuss was about and when I did I saw several tall and healthy corn stalks. I was astonished. So was the chief. "We owe you a great service. Flying eagle will be healed to the best of our abilities."
