Rui turned his head to the side upon hearing the clacking of heals walking down the hallway towards his confinements. He was on his bed, just lazing around, when the Hokage walked into his room.

Rui simply sighed, and looked back up at the ceiling, ignoring the blonde lady.

"Rui Kato." Tsunade addressed. "As the Hokage, I am officially requesting your assistance with a certain matter."

Rui eyed the Hokage with distrust. "And just why would I help you?"

Tsunade glared. "I am offering your freedom as a reward."

Rui slowly sat up, swinging his legs over the bed. This must be really important for them to be willing to set him free. "And just what might this task include?"

"Two days ago, at 21:34, Kizashi and Mebuki Haruno filed a report stating that their daughter, Sakura Haruno, had been missing for over twenty four hours."

Rui shot up. "Sakura's missing?!"

Tsunade shook her head grimly. "Not any more. Two hours ago, at 11:56, Kakashi Hatake, a member of the search team assigned to this case, found Sakura in one of the training fields. She seems to be in a state of panic, and can't think properly. She's attacking anyone who approaches."

Rui frowned. "Why would she be acting like this?"

Tsunade sighed, her shoulders sagging. "It seems that she's protecting someone lying in the middle of the training ground. And that's what leads me to believe that the Queen of Masks is dead."

Rui pinched the bridge of his nose. He couldn't even begin to imagine the devastation Sakura was feeling right now. He knew, probably more than anyone, how attached Sakura was to her master. Sakura idolized and loved the Queen. 

No wonder she was attacking everyone who came near. He was actually surprised that she hadn't gone on a rampage and destroyed the village.

"I've been getting many reports from the guards I post here that Sakura pays you visits often, so I'm assuming that you two are close." Tsunade interrupted Rui's thoughts. "I need you to even try to calm her. I've asked Naruto, Kakashi, and some of Sakura's childhood friends, but none of them can get her to listen. Even her parents can't get her to stop. And we need to hurry." She added. "Sakura's keeping herself awake with chakra, and if she exhausts her reserves, there's no telling whether she'll live or die."

Rui took one step towards Tsuande. "Where is she? Take me to her."
