(Five years later)
I woke up to someone jumping on my bed. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I opened my eyes to see my twin brother Hiccup with a big smile on his face. We may look different but we really are twins. Him having auburn brown colored hair and emerald green eyes, while I have long blonde hair and purple eyes. Many people think that I got my blonde hair from my grandma, but no one knows how I got purple eyes through.

"Well good morning to you to Hiccup." I laughed at how he was acting. "Get up its our birthday! Come on!" he said excitedly. It is our fifth birthday! How could I forget. "Ok I'm up. I'll meet you down stairs." he finally got off the bed and ran out of our shared bedroom door.

I soon got dressed and followed my brother down the stairs. Hiccup and dad were already waiting at the table for me to join them.  Dad looked up as I was walking down the stairs and smiled. "Good morning Tara. Happy birthday." I smiled and wrapped as far as my small arms could around his large body.

"Thank you daddy."  I said after I let him go. "I have something for you both." dad then pulled something out from behind his chair. He handed me and Hiccup each a present.

Hiccup got a journal, knowing how much he loves to write and draw his ideas and I got a dagger. The dagger was made from an antler of a deer, on the handle were ancient writings on the handle. I couldn't read them. At the very end of the handle was an engraving of a flying dragon with a purple jewel in the middle.

"Thank you dad. But what are these engraving?" I asked as I tried to understand them. "I don't know. I think its from an ancient civilization that died out a long time ago." Dad said with a thoughtful face.

"I have something for you sis." Hiccup said and pulled a small box with a small bow from his coat. "So do I." I pulled out a wrapped package as well and gave it to him. I opened the box and inside was a necklace that looked like the dragon I keep seeing in my dreams for as long as I could remember. "I looked in one of your notebooks a while ago and saw that drawing. I thought that it was cool and made a necklace for you with Gobers help." (necklace above).

I smiled and gave him a hug. "Thank you for the gift. I love it. Come on open yours!" Hiccup then opened his. He held up a dagger with our names engraved on the handle. It wasn't an easy task but I got it done with Gobers help. "Thank you sis. I love it!" We then shared a hug.

When we released from our hug, dad spoke good news to me and Hiccup. "I spoke to Gober he said that now that you are five years old you two can become his apprentices. You are starting tomorrow." "really dad?!" Hiccup and I said at the same time. Dad nodded his head to confirm our thoughts.

"Thank you dad!" we again said at the same time and gave dad a hug. "Your welcome. Now I have to go to work. A chiefs duty never ends, even on his kids birthday. You stay out of trouble while I'm gone. See you later tonight." "Bye dad."

Dad then left and we decided to go see Gober to see if he could show us some things in the shop.
