Expectantly filled
with tomorrow's worth
Measuring time
by a concerning birth

What dawn
What light to greet
The shore and sand
and new life feet

A breath as good
as health desired
Eyes as perfect
as hope inspired

What journey
What places unseen
The heavens imagined
in a crazy dream

A parent as joyful
as any age could be
Sighs at the sound
in cries of relief
