"Monika?" Natsuki asked.

"Yeah, we gotta find her before this damn place collapses." I said.

"N-Noah...listen to me. Monika can't be trusted, she the reason that all this is happening!" Natsuki said in a panicked voice.

"Natsuki, you, Monika, and everyone else is infected. If we do not get out of here with everyone, all of you will die." I said in a serious tone.

Natsuki looked down at her fingers and then back up at me.

"I-Infected...?" She asked.

"The third eye will consume your soul if we do not get out of here."

Suddenly I heard scratching sounds come from down the hallway. I looked in the direction of the noise and saw five LFS monsters walking towards us.

"N-Noah...what is that...?" Natsuki asked in a terrified voice.

"Natsuki run!" I said.

Natsuki ran down the hallway as I shot them with my AUG. I ran out of bullets and there will still three left.

Natsuki looked behind her to notice that I wasn't running with her.

"If you're gonna get to her, you're gonna have to get through me!" I said.

I grabbed my AUG by the barrel and swung it like a bat. It hit one of the monsters in the head and it fell to the ground.

I roundhouse kicked the 2nd monster and it fell to the ground. The 3rd monster grabbed both my wrists and put three scratch marks across my cheek.

I pushed the monster away and grabbed it by the back of it's head. I slammed the monsters face in the wall.

I looked down the hallway and saw large shadows of more monsters.

I ran down the hallway and pulled Natsuki into a classroom. I closed the door and locked it. I turned to Natsuki with my finger over my lips, signaling her to stay quiet.

We watched as the shadows walked past the doorway.

"What do we do now Noah...?" She whispered.

I sat down in a chair and let out a long sigh, accessing the pain that was on my cheek.

"Now we wait." I said.

"Noah I need to tell you something..." Natsuki said.

"Natsuki shhh, they're still outside."

Natsuki gave me a pouty face and then walked towards me. She took me by surprise when she got on her knees and wrapped her arms around me.

"Thank you Noah..." She said softly.

My face began to burn with embarrassment. Was this really my Natsuki? She didn't have the Third Eye on her head.

"Y-Yeah you're welcome N-Natsuki." I said.

She began to giggle and she stood up. She looked me directly in the eyes. She closed her eyes as she slowly moved her face towards mine.

I moved my face towards hers as well and closed my eyes.

CRACK.

Right before our lips touched we heard a large crack come from inside the building.

"N-Noah?!" Natsuki said scared.

"We need to find Monika, let's go!" I said.

As much as I would love to kiss Natsuki, friends come first. Even if they're possessed by a sexy angel...demon thing.

Me and Natsuki ran out if the classroom and the TFS monsters were gone.

"I...I think I know where she is." Natsuki said.

"Where?!" I said, almost yelling because I was so panicked.

"Down that hallway...let's go."

Me and Natsuki ran down the hallway to a large door. It read "Storage Closet."

"Natsuki...stay here." I said.

"W-Why?" She said.

"You don't want to see Monika...like this." I said.

Natsuki stood outside the door and I walked in. The door slammed shut behind me and almost startled me.

"So...you're here..." A voice said. I looked down on the lower level and noticed that I was on a catwalk.

I looked and saw a woman sitting at a piano with her back turned to me. She was playing music but it was....low notes and very slow.

It was almost depressing.

"Monika I've...I've come for you...I can help you." I said.

"What's there to help with? You already know that I'm a monster. Why don't you just leave me here to die."

I walked down the boardwalk and next to Monika. She continued playing her piano. With every key she pressed, it felt like her face was becoming sadder and sadder.

"Monika...please let me help you...you're not okay." I said.

"Why don't you go ahead and be with you beloved...fuckin Natsuki huh? All I ever wanted was some company..." She said sadly.

"Monika I...I want to help you. You didn't have to do this, but I can't change that. What I can do, is help you fix this."

"Then fix it by leaving me here to die..."

I refused to take that as an answer. I grabbed Monika by her shoulders and shook her.

"MONIKA! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. I CAN HELP YOU, BUT YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME. IF WE DON'T GO NOW, WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE." I yelled.

Monika's face was completely surprised with my words. I pulled her from her bench and grabbed her hand.

I drug her up the catwalk to see Natsuki still waiting outside the door.

"M-Monika?" She said.

"Natsuki..." Monika said.

"We gotta go now, this whole place is about to give in." I said.

Natsuki looked at me and Monika and noticed that we were holding hands. She gave me a stare of jealousy.

"Yeah...let's go..." Natsuki said.

We all ran down the hallway while trying to match Natsuki's pace because she was slower than us.

"What the hell is going on?!" Monika yelled to me.

"I'll explain later, we're almost there!" I yelled. Monika ran ahead of me to the exit.

Suddenly the ground cracked between me and Monika.

"Noah!" Natsuki yelled behind me.

I turned around and picked up Natsuki. I threw her to safety while I tried to reach the exit.

The ground fell below me and I tried to jump to safety. I missed.

I began to fall to my death in a pool of green flames.

"NOAH!"
