later on that night the night of the Valentines dance I had just finished getting ready for it I was staring at the mirror for some reason I feel really nervous like I'm about to throw up "Brianna" I herd my moms voice say "Brianna Brody's here for you" my mom said as she entered the room and her eyes lit up "oh Brianna you look so beutiful" she exclaimed happily "thanks mom" I said "whats wrong" she asked concerned "I just feel really nervous like I'm about to throw up like I wanna go but apart of me just wants to bail and-" I said "hey hey take a deep breath sit down" my mom reasured as we sat down on my bed "everything is gonna be Brody seems like a gentlemen and I know he'll make sure you have a good time tonight" my mom reassured "and besides I see the the way he looks at you" I shot my mom a confused look "its the same way that your dad use to look at me"

"I never knew that" I said "its true and its also the same with Marcus" she said "mom what was dad like" I asked "he was a very nice man he had a good heart he loved everyone that was clossest to him freinds family he even love us" she explained making me smile at the thought "but he wouldve wanted me to move on and you to enjoy life while you can and we cant sit up here and reminise all night so are you feeling better now" she said "I am thanks mom" I said as we hugged "alright I'll go let then know that your comming down" she said as she stood up and walked away before I felt a stabbing pain in my shoulder I moved it around carefuly and the pain went away I stood up and grabbed my clutch and put everything I needed before I walked out of my room and down stairs where my mom Mr Tein Preston Sandy and Brody was "there she is" My mom said "what took you so long" Preston said/joked making me shoot him a look "Bree you look really nice" Sandy said "thanks Sandy you look nice too"

"close your mouth Brody you'll catch flies" Preston said making every one either smile or chuckle I walked over to Brody "hi" I said "hi you look amaizing beautiful even" he said "thank you loo amaizing too" I said making him smile "alright gather around you 4 its time for photos" my mom said "Sharon its a dance not prom" Mr Tein said "dont ruin this for me this might be the only time we'll see them like this" my mom shot back as she got her phone out "does this happen alot" Sandy asked while she was laughing "yes alot of the time its directed at either Bree or me" Preston replied as I noddes in agreement "ok get close you 4 come on" my mom said as Preston stepped closer to me and I stood in between Brody and Preston who was between Sandy and I Brody wrapped an arm around my waist as I did around his back and I felt Preston wrapp an arm around my shoulders as I did around his

"ok smile" a few flashes went off meaning she took the photo "are you done yet mom" I asked "patience just one more" she said before another flash went off "ok Preston Bree you too got everything" my mom asked "yeah" Preston said "yeah I do" I said "ok have fun everyone" my mom said "come on guys" Brody said before we walked out of the house and into Brody's truck him and I sat in the front and Preston and Sandy were in the back on the way we just talked about random stuff like the new season of Riverdale comming out I found out Sandy is also into Riverdale and I also found out that Preston had been watching Stranger Things I kinda taunted him a little for it we then turned up outside the school so we exited out of the truck and walked inside where it was very nicely decorated "wow" I said "this is a little much but it definatly does not look like a cafeteria" I commented "I was told to expect that" Brody said smiling

"come on lets go dance" Brody said as he led me to a spot on the dance floor as I spotted Sarah at the DJ table with Jake "it is nice to see everyone having fun" I said before I gestured at my chest and held a thumbs up she mouthed "I know right" we got to a spot on the dance floor and we danced for a bit untill it started to get a little hot "did you want some punch" I asked "sure" he said as I walked over to the snack table and as I was getting the punch the pain from earlier had formed again making me wince and move it around "are you ok there Bree" I herd someone ask I turned around and saw Levi "I'm fine but hey" I said "hi you look very nice tonight" Levi said "thanks you look really good" I said "thank you'" he said "so who are you here with" I asked "you Ally from Phys Ed" he replied "oh the one thats always giving you the googly eyes" I said as I poured another cup of punch "yeah turns out she had a bit of a crush on me" Levi said smiling "really I never noticed" I joked "very funny I'll see you around"

Levi walked off as I carried the 2 cups of punch and walked to Brody who was talking to Calvin at one of the tables "speak of the devil" Calvin said making me a bit confused "dont worry about it" Brody reassured as he took one of the cups of punch "you look amaizing by the way Bree" Calvin said "thank you you do too" I said "where's Hayley at" I asked "she's just talking to an old freind of hers" he replied "but do you guys want to know the strangest thing" he asked "Victor managed to bring a date" woah "no way" Brody said "seriously" I said "yeah I saw him with Penny Gilbert that was in that music class do you remember" Calvin said "yeah a bit I dont know how he managed that" I said while taking a sip of the punch "me neither" Brody said "alright it looks like Hayley is done talking to her freind so I'll see you too later" Calvin said as he stood up and walked away as I felt the pain in my shoulder again making me gasp a little "woah you ok" Brody asked concerned

"yeah I'm fine" I said "you sure" he said "I'm ok there's nothing to worry about" I reassured "did I tell you you look so beautiful tonight" he said "yeah you did" I said smiling while chuckiling a little "I'm serious I cant get over it your beautiful" he said making me blush "thank you" I said before a slow song came on "do you wanna dance" he asked "sure" I said putting my cup down we stood up and he led me to a spot on the floor I placed my hands around his neck as he placed his around my waist and we started to slow dance "do you remember the last time we danced like this it was the dance from last year" he asked making me smile at the memory "I remember you were hopeless I had to teach you how to slow dance" I remarked "hey hey your one to talk you freaked out and avoided me when I almost kissed you" he shot back and he has been hanging around me too much "alright you've got a point" I said "you have been hanging around me too much" I told him "meh I'm not complaining" he said I chuckled before I leaned into him and rested my head on his shoulder and we continued to dance

later I was in the bathroom fixing up my hair a bit and touch up my lip gloss when then the pain appeared in my shoulder again what is with my shoulder tonight it has been acting up really badly "hey you ok there Bree" I herd a familliar voice say beloning to Hayley "yeah yeah Hayley I'm ok its nothing" I said "it clearly did not look like it are you sure" she said concerned "I'm sure Hayley so how is your night" I asked "really great I mean with Calvin its always great but tonight its amaizing how about you how's tonight going for you" she asked "I cant say how special tonight is I really cant" I said "thats good as long as your having a great time" she said "ok well if I dont see you later on tonight I will see you at school tomorrow" Hayley said "see ya" I said as she walked out I let out a sigh and walked out "you good" Brody asked as I walked up to him "yeah everything is fine" I replied "shall we dance some more" I asked he nodded and we went to another spot on the floor

the night we spent dancing catching up with people and talking pretty much there was even a best dressed boy and girl wich went to Jake and Sarah it was pretty nice for them then the night reached to an end Preston decided to walk Sandy home and Brody dropped me off in the truck "well here you go" he said "I wanna say thank you" I said "what for" he asked "for tonight for everything it was really special" I said "no need to thank me I love you and I wanted to make tonight special" he said "and that right there is why I love you" I said "I'll text you later" I said "sure and I'll see you tomorow" he said before he pecked my lips "see ya" I said as I opened the door and stepped out smiling I walked to my front door and opened the door I herd singing comming from upstairs I walked up stairs to find the singing comming from the wash house "mom" I asked "oh hey honey how was the dance" she asked "it was amaizing but mom I didnt know you could sing"

"of course I could where do you think you got your singing voice from" she joked making me smile "but I'm glad things went well tonight I did say so didnt I" she said making me playfully roll my eyes "ok I'm gonna go to bed night mom" I said "night hon" she said "and get to bed soon you work to much" I called out making her laugh I walked to my room and got out of my dress and heels and into my pyjamas as I was getting ready for bed I herd the door open and close and footsteps in the hallway and a happy cheer meaning it was only Preston comming home I got into bed and pluged in my phone and earphones and listen to The Vamps and 5 songs in and my shoulder started acting up again the pain I moved it a bit and the pain went away but then it acted up again and this time it was really bad "ow" I complained as I sat up and took an earphone out "oww" I complained again as the pain esculated again making Preston rush into the room

"Bree whats going on" Preston asked "somethings wrong with my shoulder its ow its acting up really bad ahhh badly" I said Preston nodded and stepped out "mom dad come quick somethings wrong with Bree" he called out I herd footsteps come in and my mom immediatly rushed to my side "Brianna its ok its gonna be ok" my mom reassured "it really hurts mom" I said "everyone get your shoes we need to go to the hospitol"
