The expansive fields of Havenfield hadn't changed too much in 100 years, there were still unique and exotic animals waiting to be rehabilitated but now they also included the Foster-Keefe Alicorn preserve.

It had been Keefe's special assignment when he became counselor and knew the best place to build it would be at Havenfield. It just felt right to put it in a place where Grady couldn't say no, but would still annoy him. Keefe had won over some points from Grady over the years but had always been "that boy" and putting his name on the Alicorn preserve just cemented Grady's feelings. Keefe called it his greatest accomplishment until asked about the Great Gulon Incident which he just answered that he could neither confirm or deny his part in that but it was epic so maybe they were a tie.

Sophie coming to live at Havenfield had really changed the Ruewen’s and the days of them staying away from society were long gone. They still didn't venture out as much but often had people over, the had yet to throw one of their epic parties they had been known for.

Recently a new alicorn baby had been born and the preserve had been a little more active than usual. It seemed that every elf in the lost cities was making an excuse to come see the latest addition.

Wylie had tried hailing Grady but no answer and so he headed over to visit the estate. Many of the security features from the days of the Neverseen had been left in place but we're long since forgotten and Wylie easily made it to the main entrance to the house. He knocked at the front door and when no one answered he made his way around back to find a pair of hammocks with a very relaxed Grady and Edaline taking a few minutes in the afternoon sun before tackling the next project.

“My dear Wylie, what brings you here today?” Edaline asked as she saw him approaching. “Come to see the new alicorn?”

Wylie had been working as a doctor and while his skills were occasionally needed at Havenfield today wasn't one of their scheduled meetings.

“No I am here to ask a favor. Linh has something she would like to show the old group, and was hoping it would be ok to meet tomorrow at sunrise at Calla's panakes.” Wylie wasn't sure how they would respond and hoped everything would be ok since he was late getting there and Linh and Tam had probably already met with Dex, Keefe and Biana.

“Sure that's not a problem at all,” Grady answered not even opening his eyes. Wylie was grateful it was going to work and quickly headed out after a frantic hail with talks of a bramble injury.

A few minutes had gone by before Edaline reached over to Grady's hammock and jostled it a little.

“Do you think Linh will get everyone here, even Sophie?” The excitement and anticipation coming through her question was palpable.

“I hope so I miss that girl. It has been way too long since she has been home. I thought for sure the baby alicorn would get her back here,” Grady answered still trying to milk a few more minutes of peace before he knew a certain T-Rex would need to be fed!
