Chapter One: Announcement

Sean covered his eyes as the sun beamed down on him. He had just landed in Los Angles for some gaming time with Mark, Ryan and Matt.

He grabbed his dark green rolling luggage bag and walked down the hallways for the airport, listening to the clicking noise of rubber hitting the tile gaps.

"Hey Jack!" A deep voice grabbed him from behind, lifting him by the waist. Sean turned his head, it was Mark!

"Oh! 'Ello Mark!" Jack squirmed out of the other man's grasp. "Didn't see ya there!"

"Well, welcome to America! Home of freedom and.........cheeseburgers?" Mark said jokingly. Sean chuckled softly.

"So Mark, we are we goin'?" Sean asked as Mark's expression changed.

"Well, heh." Mark rubbed the back of his head. "About that......"

"What did you do Mark?" Sean questioned, tapping his foot.

"I may or may not of been kicked out by Matt and Ryan for a few hours......." Mark said sheepishly, blushing hard.

"For foks sake Mark!" Sean laughed. "Let's just put the stuff away and go to a GameStop or somethin'!"

Mark nodded. "Yeah, that's a better idea. Besides, I wanted to get Super Mario Maker."

Sean smiled. "You'll have fun with that!" He giggled and grabbed the handle of his luggage and walked along side Mark.

<At GameStop>
The two YouTubers stepped in the GameStop, eager to see what's new. They both browsed, Mark picking up Super Mario Maker, and Sean, he was looking at some PC games in the back.

His finger dragged across the titles, none interesting or a game he hasn't played yet. One caught his eye though, Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six Siege. Sean picked it up and glanced at the back, skimming the gameplay pictures and ads.

It was of two sides, fighting to save a hostage or kill off the rescuers. Save or kill. Seemed almost too real to be a game.

Sean's eyes moved to Mark, who was playing the demo of Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. He seemed be having a hard time, almost cussing out loud. He could tell by the movement of Mark's lips, they would spill at some point. Sean sighed and looked at his game '$60.00! That's a lot!' He thought to himself.

'But it's GameStop, everything is expensive. We should of gone to Target. Damn.' Sean rolled his eyes and walked away, game in hand.

He tapped Mark's shoulder, startling the other.

"Jeezus Jack, be careful. There are kids here. Don't want a bad impression." Mark teased, grabbing Sean's game. "I'm buying."

"No way Mark. I will."

"Shut it Jack! I'm buying you a game! A little gift from me." Mark said happily.

"Fine." Sean said, defeated. He crossed his arms and stuck his lip out playfully.

"Don't make me pull that over your head Jackaboy." Mark warned, paying for the games.

He thanked the cashier and held his bag. They walked out the door to the Sunny Day Mall. 'Everyone likes this place, but no one likes the name.' Mark said. 'It's cheesy.'

Sean looked in front of him as a ground was gathered around a screen. Among the crowd, he spotted two people. The brown-haired theory man Mark talked about and his raven-haired friend, who had a blue guitar slung over his back.

"Mat and Nate, never thought to see them here." Mark said indirectly to Sean.

A woman was on the screen. "Yes, we are starting annually to fix our crime problem. So for 12 hours, all emergency services will be suspended. Police and Firemen with no longer be available, as well as Doctors and EMP. 911 is no longer available for this time period. Thank you for listening. Goodbye."

Mark and Sean shared one emotion, disbelief. "1-12 hours of n-no law?" Sean said. He clenched his fist. "N-no way."

Nate looked at Mat. "M-Mat? What do we do?"

For the first time, the Theorist couldn't think.
